 I mostly adored Doby because he had undevoted love for Harry. He did many things for Harry, like give the gillyweed, poping into the Dursley house, etc... He even ended up giving up his life helping Harry. As for love I submit:  Severus Snape for his love of Lilly Potter and for taking care of Harry behind the scenes all those years without letting the deatheathers know.

I submit Dobby, may he rest in peace. crying He was a great house-elf who died at the hands of one of the most murderous characters of the book. bellatrix Lestrange stole a house elf who stood up to his master to save Harry (even if he nearly killed Harry in the process...=D) and deserved the freedom he craved. He is a fantastic hero.  Ron showed his braveness in all the books. When he gave in and left Harry, I thought he did not have much loyalty, but the fact that he returned to even more danger shows his bravery, loyalty, and resposibility to Harry and the rest of the world. Plus, he got up the courage to kiss Hermione! =D I submit Dumbledore as the most wonderful representation of love in the series. He knew the true power of love, and its uniqueness.  I submit Tonks for Love, because she saw beyond Remus's scars and shabbiness to a man she loved.  And, I submit Dolores Umbridge as a mean, nasty, and narrowminded person. Honestly, does this need explanation? From the quill to the Inquisitorial Squad, Umbridge is just plain NASTY!

Oh! So I take that we did need other orbs beside Dobby's! My bad! I shouldn't of edited my posts.
I would like to offer Mrs Weasley.
Molly truly has a heart of gold. Not only does she love and cherish her family, but she cares for others as well. Whenever Harry is at the Burrow, Molly would welcome him with open arms, loving him as if he were her own child. She has shown this devotion to her loved ones in the final battle against Voldemort.
xTohirux would like to offer James Potter.
James loved his family with all his heart, so much that he went ahead to stall Voldemort in hopes that Lily and Harry would be able to escape. His sacrifice was not gone to vain, for Harry lived through the attack.

I would also like to include Dobby. *tear.* He was the awesomest house elf to ever make its way into the Harry Potter Books. Not only did he help humans suchas Mr. Potter, he made an extra effort to help others of his kind.

First, I'd like to submit my love ornament, Ronald Weasley...
...for his love for Hermione and for his family and friends. He risked his own life for them repeatedly - he stayed with Harry from year one, he finally came to realize his love for Hermione, and he he cared for his family to the point of cracking in the last book.
And of course:
DOBBY! I love this creature almost as much as I love Ron, and for the same reasons. His heart was as pure as gold, even though love was the last thing given to him whilst he worked for the Malfoys. His loyalty and ability to pick the good from the bad make him the best small friend you could ever have. When this friend says he'll die for you, he means it. crying

I have two entries to submit, and I hope it is neither too late, or inconvenient to include. ^-^
As for someone who has demonstrated either responsibility, courage, or something like that I would like to nominate:
Ginny!
Ginny, although at first seemed just a quiet star-struck girl who was fond of Harry Potter, she grew to be very talented in Defense against the dark arts from the help of D.A meetings in the fifth book. She also displayed her courage when she not only joined Dumbledore's Army, but she tried to make distractions for Harry to speak with Sirius as well. Constantly she took the teachings from her older twin brothers (TEAR!) and showed her use of courage by teaching those who deserve it a lesson! She has been my hero in standing by Harry, and being there even if he wouldn't explain everything.
Now, for someone who has showed an extraordinary amount of love I would like to nominate:
Remus Lupin
Starting at Harry's third year-Hogwarts became even more of a home to him. Upon meeting his amazing Defense against the dark arts techer, Remus Lupin, Harry REALLY learned how to defend himself agaisnt dark magic (dispite what that witch Professor Umbridge said!). Lupin was a caring man, and loved his friends James and Sirius to the end. Now, of course he had love for other people because of the care he took not to be around them when he transformed. It wasn't his fault that he turned into a vicious being at the full moon, but he didn't want anyone or his friends to be harmed. It is a painful price to pay, but what he did to save other people's lives was worth it.
Upon learning of Harry's need to fight dementors he not only helped teach Harry how to fight back, but he tought him many things about dark arts and spells. From his love Harry learned many useful spells and knowledgable traits that would help him later in his life.
Through Harry's life he was at Sirius's side, and there to be Harry's loving friend. It took great courage, and love for the better part of the world, for him to go into the pit of the bloodthirsty werewolves to try and learn from the other side. What care he took in his life! And the obedience and respect he had for Dumbledore's orders!
And in the last he and Tonks were married and had a son. It was deep and depressing concern that drove him to want to leave his wife and child. He didn't want his son to be cursed, and felt horrible for bringing him to this earth, but at the same time, he didn't want his son to be let down because of his father. Lupin was a man of great feeling, and didn't deserve the death that he suffered. He fought at his wife's side, fighting for freedom, for light, for his family and for his friends, and he died for it. However, Lupin's blood lives in his son, and Ted will bring more of what Lupin really was into the present wizarding world. I nominate Lupin, thanks to him, we know how people could really be, even if they aren't perfect.

First, as you know, for several thousand years Hogwarts has had an enchantment on it preventing apparation within its walls. This has served as protection from without and within, though at a certain amount of inconvenience to the staff and the senior classes, who have a much greater academic load and a need for all the time saving assistance that is legally possible. Having obtained permission from the Ministry of Magic, and with the help of several former Head masters and mistresses as well as the current class, we are pleased to announce we have been able to succeed in producing a limited revision of the Charm: As of January 1, Haven, staff and upper classpersons, 6th years and up may now apparate within these halls and grounds. The Ministry has insisted that you be tested and approved in order to do this. The staff of course is "grandfathered" into approval, although, if you wish, you make take the test as well. For now, contact LadyHealingHands to receive your test, although in a short time, your Heads of House and staff will be able to administer the test as well and this post will be updated! So for now, LadyHealingHands will owl you the special exam which you must pass for an apparation license. We are also providing a thread in the Events subforum, as being skilled in apparation is surely an event! The thread is not for testing, and anyone sharing test questions will be reprimanded. This thread is where you may share your reactions to the test, and give and receive advice on apparation. Now, let me introduce our latest staff member, Stickler Support! Lady Healing Hands steps up. It has been an enormous honor to work so closely with such skilled witches and wizards. I've been tendering a very special being, Miss Kaya cat who is prepared now to go to a new home as thanks for supplying a most important, final ingredient, the exquisite essence of Dobby.
