When Alan sprang off her back she just fell to the ground and curled up into a ball."Make it all go away..."She said to herself as she closed her eyes tight.She heard the birds falling as Alan jumped from one to another killing them all.

After the last bird was killed, Alan slumped over in exaustion. The fur on his hands went away, and his eyes went back to normal. He held his head, not knowing what happened to him. "What was I just doing?" He asked her/

Hitake didnt respond. She stayed curled up on the ground with her hands crossed over the back of her head whispering something to herself with her eyes closed.

Alan came close and put his hand on her shoulder. "Hey, are you all right?" He whispered to her.

She looked at him in fear and then said"Stay away from me!"and she crawled very quickly away from him.

Alan looked at her crawling away. "What did i do?" He aske himself. He then remembered the werewolf bite on his leg. "Wait, I understand now. You fear and hate me now, don't you?" He asked her, sitting on the ground.

"Get away from me, now!"she said as she picked up a a shard of metal and stabbed him with it and then ran away from him.

Alan felt the sharp metal in his leg and he winced in pain. "I guess i deserve to die here alone." He said through the pain. He just laid back and waited for the moment where he could be picked off by the giant birds.

Hitake kept running and then she realized she had left Kogeki back with Alan."No...i cant go back...but if i dont Kogeki will be left alone and probably killed.And Alan..."she said aloud to herself.She ran back and saw the birds diving one by one striking Alan."Stop it now!"She ran over to Alan and covered him and took the blows for him."Are you ok?"she yelled over the cawing of the birds."Im sorry for stabbing you..."

Alan kept his eyes closed. "My gun. Get it for me." He said to her, not daring to se her suffer for him.

She got up and got the gun with the birds following her and striking her.Half way back to Alan she collapsed and coughed up some blood but the birds were merciless and kept attacking her. She slowly got back up and got the gun back to Alan.

Getting to his feet, he pointed the gun at the birds. "This ends now." He said to himself. "HOLY SHOWER!" He shouted as he fired. Except, these bullets left a white ttrail of light behind them, and they imploded when they hit the birds.

Hitake saw the birds get hit by the bullets and then she fell unconscious. Kogeki came out from a bush close to her and layed down on her lap.

Alan let his arm go limp as he saw the last of the birds fall to the ground. He made his way to Hitake, and picked her up in his arms. He carried her back to the helicopter with Kogeki in his arms as well. He placed her inside and put a blanket over her. "Take some time to rest." He said to her.
