Garrett was staring at the long rows of the books. 'The Life and Loves of Jefferson', 'Shot whilst watching a show: The assassination of Lincoln', this library was MASSIVE! He went into the unexplainable phenomenon section, and pulled out a book called, 'Cognative Forces: ESP'. He began reading on claravoyance, the ability to psychically see across long distances.

Turning her head to the sound of Vincent's voice, she looks away from the artwork lining the walls, she was just thinking how it was a shame that it was a print, but at least it was a new picture she hadn't seen in the halls before. Stopping in her tracks, she smiles faintly at him and nods, "mhmm. I was looking for the cafeteria. I can smell food, so I was hoping I was on the right track. You wouldn't by chance know if my assumption and hopes are true?"
Looking at the pale skinned male, she distantly remembers him from before. Unbidden a blush pinkens her cheeks slightly as she recalls what her tired brain had thought about him previously. Well he doesn't seem as brusque as before. Maybe he had just been hungry before too.

"I've seen you before," said Garrett, absent mindedly. "I know you. I've seen you in my dreams. The girl reaching up, saving the world. I have seen it," said Garrett, then passed out, hiting his head hard on the table. "You have to be her. I've seen you," he said dazilly, closing his eyes, steady breathing.

When he offers his help and even saying he'd guide her, Diah's smile brightens. Her mouth starting to open just as his phone goes off, her smile softens but doesn't disappear as she presses her lips softly together and tilts her head intrigued by the song choice for his brother. Embarrassed for having eased dropped on his conversation, she looks at the artwork again and rocks on her heels to distract her from his exposed arms and upper chest as he talks on his cell. She must be getting close to that time of the month. What else would explain why her pulse sped up ever so slightly seeing the muscles of his arm bunch and flex with the simple movement of holding the phone to his ear? Or the spark of fascination to the peculiar eye colour. Not seeing the artwork, she lets her mind puzzle weither his red eyes were contacts or somehow the real deal. When it registers that his conversation was over, she turns back towards him and replies, "A guide to the cafeteria would be great, thank you."
Lowering her bundle of clothes to just under her breasts, she takes a step towards him. The pants aren't really my thing, but he seems nice. Maybe this school I might allow myself to make a friend or two. Glancing down at his chest again, the faint blush warms her cheeks once more. Among other things....

Joseph got up, Marth licking him back into conciousness. "Damn cat." He sighed, rubbing the kitten's head. He started to get up and used the wall for support. He was still a little dizzy, so he made his way to the cafeteria for a drink.

((well... a possible reason why no one interacts with your char could be that you aren't posting enough for anyone to interact with. Or as Stellar suggested, you aren't making them interact with you. Leaving hints as to WHO you want to have talk to you would also be a good start. Another reason, sometimes it's hard for others to have their char jump floors just to interact with you ya know? Take everything into perspective. I was gone all day at school too, and my char spent most of her intro sleeping in the library. So don't take it personal. yet another reason would be people aren't replying to your post because they're waiting for a response to a former post they put which involves someone else. For instance, I'm waiting for Lotus to post. Another reason, people just glaze over other people's posts. It happens when the rp is active. while you're posting 5 other people post as well and yours just gets overlooked cause someone wanted to know what their chars and the chars already interacting with their chars are doing. Again, don't take it personal.

I'd help you with relationship problems, but it's be like the blind leading the blind... I can give you more pointers and textbook cases, but... yeah... Probably shouldn't occ bog the rp... even if no one else is on but us 3... ))
