Charity shrugged and said,"I'm not sure... It's getting late, so they should leave soon."
After waiting for a while more, the cops finally left the house, giving them the chance to get the tent.
"Are they gone finally?" she asked, the boredom evident in her voice.

"Yea, their leaving. Now we can get the stuff that you need." He said as he stood up, and offered a hand to help her up.

Dante sighed a little as he walked with the two girls, his hands in his pockets and his head down slightly.

Charity took his hand and stood, watching the dark house like it would kill her. "Yes... Let's go and be quick about it. I'm afraid that they might come back at any moment."

Valk had blushed a little as he felt her hand on his, but quickly regained composure. "If they come back, I can take care of them if necessary." He said as they entered the house. "So, where is the tent that you have?" He asked as they got into the house.

I can't see you...
Charity pulled Valk into the kitchen, which was still blood stained and looking like it came from a horror movie set.
"It's in the garage I think..." she said, stepping around the blood stained area and walking over to the door to the garage. They went in and she immediately walked over to the far wall which was covered in bikes and other things for camping purposes.
"Here it is," she mumbled, letting Valk's hand drop as she reached up to try and get the tent near the top of the wall. "Shoot, I can't reach it! Can you get it?"

"Thank you." Rowan smiled at Constantine, "I appreciate it very much. You know so much more about this world than I do." His mind began to process what he had just set himself to do. This girl needed an identity, clothes, a way to hide her wings, and so many more things Rowan didn't think he could give her. "I would like all the help you can give."

Valk had walked over to where Charity was standing, trying to reach the tent. "All right, one second." He said as he closed his eyes, and started to 'Hum' a little bit. A gust of wind came into the room, and formed a funnel under Valk, as he started to rise some. Opening his eyes, he was level with the tent. Grabbing it, he had dropped to the floor with a thud. "I guess it was heavier than I thought." He said as he let out a small laugh as he lied on the floor.

Charity let out a small giggle as she picked up the tent from Valk. "Well, I didn't want you to hurt yourself getting this just for me, but thank you anyways."
She leaned down and kissed his forehead before holding out a hand for him to take.

Constantine looked over at the girl and led Rowan back over to her. "Hello there, ma'am. I'm Constantine."
He bowed and straightened himself up again. "Is there anything you need help with the most right now? Like clothes or food?"

Valk was a little surprised as Charity had kissed him on his forehead. Letting out a small blush, he looked up to her. "I- it was no problem." He said as he rolled the tent off from him, and grabbed hold of her hand. "Thank you for the help up." He said as he stood up, standing there in front of her. Does she like me? Was all that was going through his head, as he still held onto her hand, not knowingly.

"You're all too welcome!" she said, giving him another smile.
It wasn't a real smile, she still felt broken inside, but years of practice made her smiles convincing enough for the public she had to fool.
Her thoughts turned to Valk and she gave a real smile as she looked down at his hand still in hers. "You didn't have to hold on you know," she joked, giggling at him.

"Huh?" He said as he looked down at his hand. "Oh, sorry." He said as he quickly let go, and went to pick up the tent, with a small smile, and blush. As he stood back up, he held the tent under his left arm, and looked around for a little bit. "I think we should leave, before they come back." He said as his smile faded some.
