"Oh great...another target of the Tors...not so normal now is she..." Shard said mentally to Calison. The fox's master merely sighed as he sent back, "Well, why not...things can't get worse than they already are, right?"
Calison nodded and replied, "Sure, you're more than welcome to come along, Ms. De Winter. Name's Calison Zelcon, and this here is my familiar, Shard." The white fox merely nodded his greeting to Rose as he was introduced.

She seemed somewhat happy. "Thanks. By the way, I didn't do anything drastic to get the Tors after me. I'm pretty normal as it turns out..." Her voice trailed off.
Minus the fact that I'm an assassin? And that I can control water and ice like him. Yah that seems normal.
She got on one knee and was eye level with his fox. "Ello Shard. Pleasure to meet you." She went to pet him but left her hand a few feet away thinking of what might happen. He could bite her or let her pet him.

Shard didn't lash out or bite Rose, he allowed her to pet him. Calison thought it was somewhat odd that she stated she was normal, even after he came to that on his own accord. But there was something not normal about her. As a mage, Calison could feel other magical presences and thought Rose was more than she was letting on...but the young mage chose not to dwell on it. He took note of how Shard was actually letting Rose pet him, the fox usually didn't let people near him.

She smiled at the small fox. "Yah know Shard. Your not so bad really." She scratched him behind the ears then stood up.
"Sorry, Shard had caught my intrest at the moment Mr. Zelcon." She blushed a littled. "Where to now? I kind of need to follow you if I'm tagging along."

Calison smiled and nodded, starting to like Rose because of her now apparent wit, "Of course, this way then please." Calison led her back to the camp that everyone else was at, not really thinking about whether or not they were all asleep or not. Shard started to take a liking to the woman named Rose as well, he could tell by the way she scratched him behind the ears that she wasn't a bad person.

Rose nodded her head and followed him. He had led her out of the woods a completly different direction then she had come in. Good thing none of the Tors went that way or she might of had some explaining to do.
I hope nothing happens to these people. Especially Shard and Calison. I'd feel bad since they where the ones who let me come.
Soflty and almost inaudibly she began to humm without realizing it.

As they walked toward the camp, Calison didn't hear Rose's humming but Shard sure did. The white fox's ears perked up as he turned his head to look at Rose and listen to her humming, liking the tune. After five minutes of walking they reached the clearing where the others were resting. Calison made sure to be extra quiet as he enter the clearing, not wanting to wake any of them that were already sleeping.

She stopped her humming after awhile forgetting how the rest of the song went. She was sure that Calison didn't hear her but had a feeling Shard did.
After awhile they came to the clearing. Rose managed to keep up with him all the while being quiet. As he took a step she grabbed his arm to stop him. If he had stepped down he would of snapped a twig and crumpled leaves resulting in them waking up.

Calison nodded his thanks to Rose after realizing that was about to make much unneeded noise. He found a patch of the clearing that was free and sat down. Shard jumped off of his master's shoulder and landed gracefully on the ground, noiselessly. Calison beckoned for Rose to come join him as Shard walked around, looking at the other members of the group.

She was happy he didn't notice her being unnaturally silent. Let alone able to see the twig and leaves. Lightly she stepped around making no noise and joined the two.
I hope my secret doesn't slip... If it does that won't be good at all.

Calison gave a bit of a yawn before asking, "So...where are you from?" He wanted to break the silence for a bit before we went off to bed and he was also honestly interested about Rose. Shard hopped back onto Calison's shoulder and looked at Rose with curious eyes, waiting for her answer.

Rose bit her lip and decided to tell him. "I'm not sure really. I mean i grew up in Descron... But thats not where I was born... At least I don't think so." She sighed and looked up at the moon. Rose wasn't really curious of where she originally came from up until he brought it up. It had never really mattered to her.

Calison nodded, "Descron, you say, I've only read it about in book, is it true that it is just one expansive desert? I've grown up in here in Kaiten, more specificly the academy I from, all my life and I don't know that much about the world."
Calison scratched Shard behind the ear as he spoke, his familiar displaying a joyful expression, never being petted as much before.

Frowning she nodded her head. She had never been a huge fan of deserts throughout her life. "I never really liked it much. This place is better." She spread out her arms indicating the woods, grass and sky. Her eyes had yet to break away from the mesmorizing moon. "All I know is there's a rumoured person out there who can save me... Maybe a lot of us. I'm looking for them too..."
She glanced at Shard wanting to pet him but noticed he was busy with his master. She sighed and looked back at the moon.
[think im gunna go for the night. been up since 6am stare ]

What Rose said perked Calison's interest, "A rumored person you say?" Shard looked up at Rose as well, also curious. "A rumored person to save a lot of us...? Who could that be?" Calison asked Shard mentally. The white fox merely shook his head, knowing only as much as his master.
