Caitlin heard Dawn talking out in the hall and she got up and ran out to her. When Caitlin got to her, she lightly tugged on her arm and said"Baylor was being mean and he said a bad word!"

When she got back into the apartment, she had a pouting look on her face. She looked at Baylor and then turned her nose up."This is your fault, Baylor..."

"we need to talk." he said, grabbing her wrist and pulling her in. he closed the door and slid down the front of it, collapsing into his hands. "what happened to you? what was so bad for you that they had to erase your name and your records? how could it be worse than what happened to me?" he asked, starting to sob.

Dawn sat down in the floor and begand to tell the story that never passed her lips before.
"When the metor came, my parents gave me away to our nations government employed scientists to experiment on me, to see if they could make humans adapt faster. They pumped me with all kinds of chemicals, each with their own side effects. Somtimes they did nothing, sometimes they caused internal bleeding, rashes, mental illness, or purging for days. They starved me, trying to make compact meals that sustained the body for days. None of them worked. If I didnt obey, and take the things they gave me, I was beaten into submission..." She said in a low voice. "I finally got past them, thankfully their sadistic test left me with a few "gifts" like telekeisis and increased psychic awarness. I ran away and fled to New York, New York."

Caitlin snuck behind him and when they got to the door, Caitlin opened it wide open."Hey, Dawn, Baylor was eavesdropping."she said and walked off to Dawns apartment.

"Yoake..." he looked up, eyes wide in shock. "i'm so sorry!" he said, hugging her and crying into her shoulder. he heard the door open behind him, but he ignored it. "i didn't mean to hurt you....."

"i was one of the scientists signed in to work on you." jordan said, still sobbing. "when they told me what i had to do, however, i just....couldn't do something like that to an innocent person. so they locked me in a room and beat me to no ends. but i finally escaped and became a law officer." jordan fell to his knees, still sobbing. "i just can't live with what i did."

Dawn gently pushed him away.
"But you didn't do anything. And if you knew who I really was this whole time, why play dumb?" She was confused on what exactly to feel.

Dawn thought about it. She had been only thirteen when they got her.
"Don't be so sad..." Dawn was not sure how to make Jordan feel better, "I made french toast. Do you want some?"
