I got lost several times in a town that didn't even have a high enough population to be a city. We finally became a city a few years back, but even before that, I got lost in it.

So I'm not the only one with a minimal sense of direction! I still have no idea how to get to school from home... only how to get to the nearby elementary. stare But it's weird, my mind makes mental "chunks" for a map, and then they have ragged edges so they never fit together right.

I know what you mean. I know small 'chunks' of reno, but I couldn't tell you how to get from one chunk to the next to save my life.

Fwaha, so I'm not the only one that does that! I lived in Texas for five years... my town was still chunks when I moved out. And then when we toured my current house for the first time, my memory turned the house into the parts. whee It was a blast trying to figure out navigation somehow.

Don't worry, we won't be talking about maps for too long.

Heh heh. Hemet. I know where Ryoko lives and where I live and where the school resides. A student actually asked me once if I knew how to get to the Stater Bros. and I replied with and I quote: "They have one of those here?"
I got everything covered.
Hell, there's a gas station and a Taco Bell on every corner. What more do I need?
