Tristelle raised her hand as the teacher asked about familiars, before quickly going back to writing until all the rules were written neatly in order on the first page of her notebook. Finished early, she listened intently as the teacher spoke of familiars. That was something she had been curious about. All the other students had some sort of animal as their familiar. She looked down to Pippin and Nisa, who were sleeping under her desk. They were far from any animal she had ever seen. Maybe... They weren't familiars at all. During her time with her, she was aware that Pippin was able to work the darkness element, while Nisa sticked to white magic. They seemed more like spirits to her.

She looked to Acarian as he spoke, repeating one thought over and over in her mind, the one thought that kept her sane and in control. Your not a monster. Don't do it. She took a deep breath and raised her hand. As much as she hated her classmates attention, the 'A' student in her refused to let her sit back and say nothing. "It sounds like some form of possession." She said when Ms. Morningstar pointed to her.

Kuragari was really bored and absent mindly drink from her bottle just to do something. Mr. Hramm stood at the front of the room. He had just finished his lecture on the last bow (the long bow) and now was talking about why there are three feathers on an arrow and why one is pretty.

"As you can see class when you hold the arrow so that this feather is pointing up, (the pretty feather) the other two feathers wont be in the way of the bow when shooting. Now this feather is called the c**k," a low giggle went through the room, "feather as in rooster. While the othrt two feathers are called hen feathers. But all together there called fletchings."

Kuragari began tuning him out again. She after all knew all this from watching humans practice at night. She just wanted to shoot already.

Aqua sighed as Mr Hramm kept talking about the history of the bow. she glanced around, wondering who else was in this class. her auburn hair glinted in a ray of sunlight from one of the windows.

Mori stared off as absentmindedly as he'd started in the class. Arrow history was kinda boring. He thought to himself, contemplating whether or not to pay attention. He'd probably learn all sorta stuffs about bow trajectory from learning about different bows. The english longbow, for example was the best historically marked design, singled out for its firepower and range, while the yumi, a Japanese bow was designed for stealth tactics and horseback mount.

Meh. He didn't let thinking interrupt his daydream, provocative as the thought was.

At that moment, the bell rang. Once again, students poured out into the halls, making their way to their third period class.

When the students taking Music walked into their room in 209, they were greeted by a beautiful blonde woman, huge white, feathery wings springing from her back, wearing a slim white dress, sitting in the front of the class by a large harp. Once the students had all arrived, she spoke in a melodious voice, and said, "Greetings, my students. I am Miss Sheatiel, your Music teacher. She played a few gorgeous bars on the harp to emphasize her point. Today we will be going over the note values, and a few simple scales." she smiled around at her charges. "Well then, shall we get started?"

When those who had Alchemy in third block walked into their room on 303 they found their teacher, a laid-back-looking man with long blond hair. Once class had started, he walked to the front of the room, -which looked more than a bit like a medieval chemistry lab- and started to write lists of substances on the blackboard. Turning to face the class, he spoke in a drawling voice, “I’m Mr. Chase, your Alchemy teacher. Today we will be going over a bit of history of alchemy, and some simple properties of the most-used substances. So, get out your books--you’ll need detailed notes on this.”

((Sorry for the day-late post. SATs, Photo project, my endless obsession with Heroes…all conspired against me yesterday. And, shameful as it is to admit, in a contest between Gaia and Nakamura Hiro, Hiro wins. <3

Also, just because this post has been submitted, doesn’t mean the next one you post has to get your character to class; a bit of between-class interaction is more than okay.))

acarian heard the bell ring. "a form of posession, huh?" he thought. "i'm gonna look into that." acarian stood up and tried to grab his books, but his leg got caught in his chair and his head landed on the brown haired girl's lap. he quickly stood up, embarassed. "ua, i, um, got to go!" he said running out the door and leaving his stuff behind.

Kuragari immeaditly got out of her seat and walked down the hall. She had no idea where her drama class was but figured she find someone else heading there soon.

As she walked down the hall Kuragari could feel everyone staring at her. 'I should never have saved that guy. It was his own stupidity that he started drowning so why did she go and save him. NOW she was stuck with people starring at her, thinking she had attacked him.'

As she passed by a few rooms Kuragari spotted the boy she had saved, 'well he looks fine so maybe now everyone will stop starring at her.

Mori picked his head up, shocked that the class had gone by so quickly. Maybe they'd work on technique tomorrow... that'd be awesome.

Shouldering his bag, Mori walked into the hallway, noticing many bustling people. It reminded him of how huge the school was. Speaking of school... he couldn't wait to get to Alchemic class. It sounded awesome. Transmutation, theory on the Philosopher's stone, and perhaps even stuff on Nicholas Flamel. Alchemy, being not a magic but a science was something he'd be able to work with, seeing as he had no magical talent.

It sounded exciting, to say the least.

((Hum...surf_dude, I had kind of written in the assumption that the teacher had already taught the rules, I didn't roleplay it expressly because I just don't know them... sweatdrop That's why I waited the whole weekend, so anyone who wanted to roleplay that had the chance!))

The bell rang, startling Anne out of her daydreaming state. She was still hearing the teacher's words in her head, and slowly picked up her notebook, staring at Cassio.
Suddenly, she heard a rumble and someone fell on her; the boy who had came in late had gotten trapped in his chair and ended up quite literally on her lap.
She didn't, however, have the time to react, as the boy stood up quickly and ran away. "Huh...what was that?" Anne murmured, and then she noticed the boy's stuff on his desk "Oh Gosh...Hey, you there! Come back!" She called, picking up the stuff and running in the direction he had left.

((keru, there is no physical description of Acarian, apart from his clothes...is he blond, fat, tall? I have no idea...))

((Aqua, that is not the case. I didn't think I'd have to remind everyone of this, but if your class is one that has already been opened in a previous period's post, the lesson is the same. You still have that class, I just don't need to open it. Now, you need to go to Archery--and edit that post about 'wandering around lost'.

This is, and will be true for all lessons: if it's not mentioned, it's the same as when it was mentioned before. You STILL NEED to go to that class!))

((Be calm, o omniscient forum-creator.))

The Alchemy lab was mostly full of people when he'd arrived. It looked very... old-ish. Like European Middle-age. The man in the front of the class, fully grown and relaxed-looking said something about chasing substances. Was he a druggy? Meh. It didn't matter... Right now he had to take notes. It turned out that the druggy teacher's name was Mr. Chase, and that it was a class assignment to copy down some basic alchemic substances.

So, without further ado, Mori took out a spiral notebook and a mechanical pencil, and began scribbling furiously.

((^^; I'm calm--just really wanted to emphasize the point. Sorry if I sounded angry.))

Asako was glad when Swordplay had ended. It had been more work than she would have originally thought. When she had been teaching herself how to use her sai, it had been relatively relaxed; on her own time and with her own pace. But Ms. Delacroix seemed to be of the 'fast-paced, disciplined' school, and it was hard work keeping up with someone so competent and set on teaching her students in a hard, rigid way.

Once the bell rang, she immediately perked up. Nearly running out of the gym, she made her way to the auditorium. It was only once she got there, that she remembered that she was on the lookout for both Anne and the human boy that had caught her friend's eye.

Sitting down in front of the stage, she trained her eyes on the teacher, a vibrant blond man, who was without a single doubt, flaming gay. Geez, it's like he's trying to live up to every stereotype at once... she thought derisively to herself. But, no matter what her first thought was, there was no denying that his energy was catching. Drama was perhaps her favorite subject, and Mr. Myr was good at what he taught.

"Can anyone tell me what improvisation is?!" he said, and, for once in her life, Asako's hand shot up into the air.

Mr. Myr focused his attention on her instantly. (Really, she was hard to miss...) "Yes, Asako?"

Flashing the teacher a grin, Asako spoke confidently. "Improvisation is acting without a script or time to rehearse."

Mr. Myr grinned back at her. "Exactly."

Jake blinked furiously shaking the sleep from his eyes. He had heard the bell ring and had stood up, merged into the isle, but then froze, dozing off - for no reason. Back in the present he saw the brown-haired girl stand up in a startled sort of way, run over to a desk, scoop up the contents and then proceeded to dash out of the room screaming for somebody.

A few of the people left in the room stared after the strange occurrence, but didn't say anything of it. The young man shrugged it off, shouldered his bag and stepped out into the crowded halls once more.

Jake climbed a couple of stairs, walked down a couple of hallways and finally came upon the door marked with runic, old-fashioned letters that spelled out, "Alchemy." He slowly pushed open the door. Unlike what Jake thought would happen, the door swung smoothly without creaking. The class was almost full by the time he had arrived.

Glancing around the boy saw that the room seemed to have leapt right out of a history book, the only contrast was the tall man with long, almost-white hair that fell a good way down his back. He locked eyes with Jake and held up a small notebook he was carrying and tapped it lightly with a pencil and then pointed to the board.

The man, Mr. Chase, seemed understanding enough and didn't seem to be too unkindly in his ways. Jake took a seat and quickly pulled out a small notebook with a dark green cover; he retrieved a pencil from deep in his pocket and flipped the cover open. The young man titled the page "Basic Alchemic Substances," skipped a couple of lines and continued with scrawling down the notes on the board into his notebook.

((Sorry for the wait! I just got back from a really hard polo match and threw together a post, I hope it's not too bad... Also, I fixed my post Selphie biggrin ))
