((.........DURR.......sorry, I've been stressed this week, and thinking...well, it hasn't exactly been my strong point sweatdrop ))
"Good Morning, Ms. De Winter, Mr. Ghaleon," Professor McGonagal said. (Note: I'll edit the spelling as soon as I find my book) "You're just in time for your schedules," she said, handing them to the two students. She moved onward down the table, handing the schedules to the other Gryffindor students who were there.
"Perfect timing, as always," he smiled as she left. He scanned breifly through his course schedule, then made a horrendous face. "Morning Divination? Blimey, this year's off to a horrendous start! How about you, Nikol? How are you this fine morning?"

Professor Snape casually walked through the hall, his hands full of schedules. The worst part of being a head of house he thought. Starting at the back, he began with a girl fraternizing with a pair of Gryffindors. "Miss De Winter," he said simply. "Your schedule."

Rose looked over hers. "Herbology...?" She was a little ataken back. Herbology was the study of plants. You didn't exactly wave a wand around there.
Nikol nodded her head and took the schedule. "Thanks professor." She gave him an attempted smile and looked over hers. "Well looks like there's gunna be two De Winters." She almost laughed. There was a pair of twins; the paitals. (To lzy to look up spelling) One was in gryffindor and she wasn't sure where the other ended up. "Keep up the family name kid. Even if it is herbology."

"Herbology is...well its interesting. I'd much rather have that than Divination first thing, that's for sure...try to be awake in there, especially later in the year when it gets harder to be so chipper in the mornings. The longer you study Herbology, the more effing fingers you'll lose if you're not careful." He looked over at Nikol. "And that's one thing I CAN'T look out for!" He chuckled a little bit, not sure if it was really funny or if he just didn't get enough sleep because Malric kept stealing his covers..."We still on for tonight?"

Rose gulped. Losing a finger didn't sound so good.
Nikol looked up and sighed. "Only if you keep me awake in divination. Then we're on for tonight." She gave him a small smile and giggled. It was usless. Her and divination sounded bad. But in the morning after she just woke up? Man was that a horrible idea.

With a raised eyebrow, he scanned his schedule again and saw that, indeed, he was having Divination with Slytherin. "Well...this should make for an...interesting...year. I propose we spite our houses and sit next to each other!"

Rose was shocked by this but shrugged. She sat down and began to eat food.
"Deal!" She sat down next to her sister. "I think I'll be sitting with you guys too. To much popularity over there and I'll go insane." She laughed and motioned behind her to the Slytherins.

Amanda rushed towards Divination cursing fred and george for keeping her back to talk about thier new prank plans. She skidded into the room, her chest heaving as she managed to find a seat with some of the Griffindors. "That is the last time i'll spend my passing periods talking about acne potions." She said breathlessly, to Lee Jordan who soemhow beat her to class.

((Hey, what about us? There's still Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff you forgot about. Don't worry, we'll just work on our own. Oh, and video game girl, I am the twins, just so you know for future reference. And Ron, we're all still eating breakfast and getting schedules. Anyway, onward!))
The stout Professor Grubblyplank hurried down her long table, greeting new students and welcoming back old. Oh she always loved the start of the new year, so many happy faces, so many nerves to calm...
She came near the end of handing out schedules. "Is there anyone I missed?" she called out down her table.
Anna gave a start. She was sitting at Ravenclaw with Suki. She hurriedly scrambled up out of the bench. "Back in a moment." she whispered to Suki.
She hurried over to the woman. "Here Professor."
The woman smiled. "Start of your first year and already getting around houses? Fine cooperation if I ever saw." she chuckled happily as she whipped her wand and tapped a blank paper. "Here you are dear, don't be afraid to come to me if you need anything." she hurried away to her business.
Anna bowed lightly and walked slowly back, keeping her eyes on her schedule.

Suki received her schedule from a teacher walking down her table, not getting time to ask the professor's name ((Because I have no idea who's in charge crying sorry, I don't own the books...))"What'd you get, Anna?" She smiled as she saw her coming back, her schedule face down on the table. "I haven't looked at mine yet. I have my fingers crossed for classes with you!"

((Okay People, work with me here: Since the students in the series have the same 'classmates' each year, they are the students in their years within their house, like all the years in each house. The exceptions are the double classes of Potions, and Care of Magical creatures (in third year) mostly Slytherin with Griffyndor, and Ravenclaw w/ Hufflepuff, the exceptions being in Herbology, where those seem to be switched. I know this is a free rp, but try to keep it within that system, okay? Socializing can all be done at meal times and after school. Oh, and I think first years have flying lessons all year. Harry was just the exception... astronomy is actually pretty irregular...))
Anna bit her lip as she glanced down her list, reading rooms, teacher sna dlocation before looking over the classes themselves.
"I do." she muttered. "I have potions with you." She turned her schedule around to show her agenda.
Monday: Herbology w/ Gryffindors, Transfigurations, Defense against the Dark Arts.
Tuesday: Charms, Potions w/ Hufflepuffs, History of Magic.
(Same with Wednesday and Thursday)
Friday: Flying Lessons, Astronomy.

"Cross your fingers.." She said as she took a deep breath before flipping her schedule over. "Oh.."
Monday/Wednesday: Potions w/ Ravenclaw, Charms, Defense against the Dark Arts.
Tuesday/Thursdays: History of Magic, Herbology w/ Slytherin, Transfigurations.
Friday: Flying, Astronomy

Amanda opened her divination book with subtle boredum, since she didn't know many people apart from Lee Jordan the class only served a purpose of helping her catch up on sleep.
