Buzzzzzzzz. Buzzzzzzzz. Yuzuyu grumbled as she reached out and grabbed her cellphone. Clicking the green button she turned off the alarm. It was still only 5:30 in the morning. Enough time for her to thank everyone with a bit of a breakfast. School didn't start for three hours anyways. Roughly smoothing out the kinks in her hair the young girl made her way down the stairs picking up the stray shirts socks and other clothing articles along the way. So much for the woods being dangerous...

The laundry room was a small room almost 4 square meters. It was even messier than the staircase, if that was even possible. The brunette dug around a while until she felt something wooden and woven under the mountains of clothing. Aha! The laundry basket! Pulling it out Yuzu sorted the laundry into the basket and placed the colors in the laundry machine. Just where was the detergent? Over here? Over there? In fact it had been shoved between the laundry machine and the dryer. Sighing she pulled it out and poured a bit in to the machine before closing it and setting it to 'Regular Wash'. Time to make breakfast!

The kitchen floor was plastered with garbage bags and other trash. The counters also were rather out of sight, literally...

It took about an hours before she had sorted out all the garbage. Yuzuyu had actually managed to find a Rice cooker in the trash! "And that's that!" she laughed to herself. In the fridge there wasn't much, instant miso powder, some mackerel, and pickled radishes. The miso was simmering in the large pot and the fish was sizzling on the frying pan while the pickled radishes sat in a neat row on the blue ceramic side dish plate. Rice had been set in the small wooden bowls with chopsticks sitting next to them in an organized fashion. Yuzuyu had always been good at house keeping. She had been in charge of all the cleaning and cooking since she could hold a ladle.

(FINALLY! whee )

The sun rose into the sun to declare morning to the world. At its warm touch, Tora opened her eyes in her bedroom. She was still dressed in her school uniform which indicated that she had merely collapsed last night. Her hair was messed up and her eyes empty with their usual brightness. Yawning, she rolled out of bed and made her way to her bathroom which was connected with her bedroom. She locked the door behind her and made her way to the sink to take in the damage from last night.
Her left eye was swollen and bruised, but she couls of course cover that up with her hair. There was a slight bruise on one cheek, but she could find some excuse for that. Her arms were terribly bruised, but she would just wear long sleeves. It was the weekend anyway, so she wouldn't have to wear her uniform until Monday. Sighing, Tora quickly changed into the long-sleeved yellow shirt and blue jeans that she had brought with her. This was a semi-normal routine and she was used to it by now. It was her fault for being late last night, so she figured she deserved it.

Kaname had been up since 3:00am and it was now 5:30am. He hadn't been in the mood for sleep, so he had gone out for a bit of peace. He was now only returning and the sight of his parents standing by the door, made him groan in dread.
Unfortunately, his mother was the first to burst into tears as she ran forward to hug him. In a flash, he grabbed her hands before she could touch him and said as gently as he could (which was very gentle at all), "Mom...you can't touch me." His words made hi mother cry more and he rolled his eyes, sighing. It was always like this. Having over-protective parents was quite bothersome.

It felt like Chris had just closed his eyes when he heard the soft rhythmic sound of footsteps downstairs. Nobody ever got up this early in the house, well except for Sato, who leaves for work early. But it was his day off, or really more like a mini business trip to the Main House for Hikaru's check up. It was a little past 6 a.m. when Chris sat up after just lying in the bed for a while. He always did that, even when he was awake Chris lay in his bed, just thinking. About whatever it was that first came to mind for the day. And today, his first brainwave was; 'Who the heck is downstairs so early!?'. Grumbling the boy forced himself off the mattress and walked across the hall to the bathroom.

Only when he was returning to his room did he realize Yuzuyu's room door was open. Was she already awake? Come to think about it she always got to school early each morning, he thought as he slipped in to some more comfortable clothing. It was Sunday, the one day where he got a break from it all. School, Hiro, Akio, Sato, the rest of the Sohmas and the stupid cat. But most of all it was the one day he could disappear, just vanish in to thin air. Or so he felt. He'd go for a walk in the morning just wandering 'round until he got to the far end of the lake where we just sort of sat thinking or sometimes, on rare condition just yelling non sense and venting. Then later he'd visit the vegetable garden, if anyone of his cousins knew about it they wouldn't live it down, especially since Chris doesn't seem to be the type with a green thumb...

Taiyo woke up as the sun seemed to find it's way through the window and right over his eye lids. He schrunched up his closed eyes and sat, raising his arms to shield them from the blinding light. His right hand was banage with a tinge of red showing through around the palm. But surely the cut had clotted by now. As his eyes adjusted to the morning he noted the bundle of blankets against the wall. Tokaru must have moved there once he was already asleep because he fell asleep he checked to make sure Tokaru was still in her room. Glancing over at the clock it was still kind of early, but once Taiyo was awake there wasn't any use in trying to go back to sleep, he never could. So he might as well start breakfast.
He slid out of his bed and quietly pushed open the door and tip-toed down the hall to the kitchen. Digging through the cupborads and fridge he manaed to arrange somewhat of a breakfasty type of meal. But he'd just wait until his sister got up so until that time he opened a box on the counter and pulled out random paperback travel game books to pass the time; sudoku, word search, cross-word, and such. He took the three books and head back out onto the front porch to start passing the time. His right hand was still a bit tender from last night's incident so he found it a challenge to write with his left hand instead. It was weird how quiet it was at the moment, compared to the racous the night before. As he glanced across the porch florr he could see small shards of glass he missed when he was cleaning up. He'd have to pick them up before his sister walked out here.

By the time light had fallen in through the window to rest on Katsu's bed, it was vacant. The sheets were tossled and unkept, but the violet-haired girl was not within the room at all. A bare leg dangled just outside the window, toes twitching in the cool breath of morning. Katsu was lying back on her arms, content with her poised position on the roof. She'd been perched here for at least an hour and a half and hadn't moved from the spot. She gazed, almost longingly, out at the watercolor sky as the whispy clouds glided lazily past.
This was her calm. The only place she seemed to be at peace. Her mind was still as she watched the trees sway and heard the chorus of leaves fluttering. The sound was soft and somehow soothing. The hum of batting, green wings, as if the branches were full of lively butterflies.
Katsu sighed as her eyes fell to the bracelet that sat so innocently around her wrist. By the look of the thing, you wouldn't know how important it was. How key it was to Katsu's secret and greatest fear. She quickly looked away, leaning forward and pulling her knees up to hug them to her chest. Katsu tucked her sleeve over the string of beads and tried to pretend she couldn't still feel it, constricting the creature inside of her.But it was too late. She had already started to think about it.
'I wonder...' she thought, '... how long until I'm locked away? How long before they'll block the sun and force me into his darkness...? Just like... my grandfather.'
The words confused her. She had thought them, but didn't know why she would think of it now. Now, when she was so close to experiencing the only years of fake freedom she might ever have.
Her arms tensed around her legs as she continued to stare out at the sky. But then, a seasoned aroma drifted towards her and her stomach twisted in hunger. Who would be cooking this early? And who in this house would actually cook, for that matter?
She was curious, but decided to hold off on investigating until the sun had fully risen.

((Sorry, got a little bored...))

The scent of something cooking soon filled the whole house, a mixed smell of miso, mackerel and pickled radish. Chris followed his nose right to the kitchen where their guest stood by the oven cooking. Their guest, cooking. So much for their hospitality... But the boy was still surprised to see his guest up so early and, by the looks of it, making a breakfast meal for everyone without complaint. He heard something else, a machine thumping. it sounded something like the laundry machine, not that he'd remember. They hadn't used it for ages.

It was so strange... The house was clean. He hadn't noticed in his drowsiness but the clothes on the stairs had vanished in to thin air as well as the mountains of garbage. He hadn't seen the house this clean since when they first moved in here. They had a rice cooker!? Since when? Not to mention a kettle he had never encountered in past his years in that house. "Since when did we have a rice cooker?" he thought out loud.

Kaname, finally managing to escape the worry of his parents, made the decision to leave again without any notice and visit Chris's house. He was close to the hidden house now deep in the Sohma's woods and he wondered what he would do there. He didn't particularly get along with anyone and he didn't take any interest in games. To make matters worse, Hiro was there and would no doubt be a pest. It always amazed Kaname how a man could act that way and get away with it.

Tora was also on the move. Just as she had planned, she let her orange hair hang loose over her shoulders, allowing her bangs to cover up her black eye. No one would really care anyway. It was natural for a Sohma under the Zodiac curse to get beaten.
Tora had made up her mind to go see Tokaru since Kaname had rudely dragged her away from her favorite cousin. Besides, she wanted to see how the cakes ahd turned out!

Tokaru slid open the porch door to finally spot her brother sitting against one of the support beams completeing a sudoku puzzle. She rubbed her eyes trying to get her blurred vision back to normal and yawned. "Morning nii-san." She said sleepily and took a seat next to her brother glancing over at the puzzle book he was pondering over. Tokaru had not yet changed out of her pajamas and she had tied a fleece blanket around her neck so that it draped over her shoulders.

"Morning, Tokaru." Taiyo said placing the pen in the spine of the book and setting at his side before glancing back over at his sister. "Did you sleep ok?"

"Yeah. Snug as a bug in a rug." She hymned and smiled at the simple rhyme.

"That's good. I thought you might of had a nightmare or something." Taiyo said hinting on the why he had found her sleeping in the corner of his room.

"Well maybe a little." She lied, truth was she had woken up the night before after hearing the shattering of glass. She had snuck from her bed and caught the scene from an upstairs window. She noted her brother's wrapped wrist but kept quiet. She knew she wasn't suppose to know, she knew Taiyo was only trying to protect her and she also knew he's be rather upset that she had found out. When Taiyo had come back inside that night she pretended to be asleep as he checked on her in her room, and an hour later when she was sure he was asleep seh grabbed a blanket and top-toed down to his room setting up a make-shift bed in the corner of the room.

"Sorry to hear that." Taiyo said. "But remember it's just a dream." He said trying to cheer his sister up.

"Yes." She nodded happily. 'but sometimes, it is real' she thought to herself but she didn't let the thought dim her bright expression.

"Ok well I made breakfast, it's waiting in the kitchen whenever you want to eat." Taiyo said simply.

"Ok." she beamed but her eyes went straight back to the sudoku book on the ground next to her brother. "Tai-kun can you teach me how to play that game." She said and pointed over the paper book of puzzles.

Taiyo lifted it up and opened it to the most recent page and took out the pen once more sure. "Sure." He said simply and went on to explain and instruct Tokaru in playing the Sudoku game.

((Okay, I'm just gonna make my poor character fall out of his tree over and over until i meet someone. =.=))

Once again, Hame found himself asleep, only this time he was still in the tree. He felt something in his lap, and found his sandwich, and began eating it. Unfortunately, the mayo on had molded, and he choked. Annnd again, he fell out of the tree. Landing caused him to stop choking, and Hame looked around, wondering where he was.

(( Well since no one else has posted, and both my characters are busy, I doubt anyone is going to respond. And honestly your whole 'falling out of the tree' over and over again is getting a bit annoying. Your approach at posting and trying to get someone else to rp with you is not really working and it just seems a little stupid to have him do all that weird stuff again and again... just sayin'.))

(Hey I was in ROTC last year!...sorry that was random. Ok well, I'll join up with Hame.)

While Tora neared Taiyo's house, she noticed something falling from a tree up ahead. Thanks to her extreme curiousity, she crept closer until she could properly distinguish the boy now sitting up. She had seen him once or twice and knew he was a Zodiac cousin. Kneeling behind him she blinked innocently and then poked him in the back.
"Yo."
PostPosted: Sat Oct 13, 2007 5:38 pm

(( Cool I'm a Tsgt right now. We have air force JRTOC.
OMG guys I have a job interview! I can't wait how I screw this up.))

Once Taiyo had explained the puzzle and Tokaru had completed and easy one herself, he closed the puzzle book just as Tokaru stomach gave a low growl. "You ready for breakfast?" He asked.

"Yep!" Tokaru shouted and lept from her spot on the porch in a blink she had dissapeared back inside the house. Taiyo got up and followed his little sister inside, it wasn't a good idea to let her be alone for too long by herslef. There was far too much trouble she could get into. By the time he'd gotten into the kitchen the plates were set out and Tokaru was pullling the cake out of the fridge.

Before Tokaru could set it down on the counter Taiyo swiped it up quickly. "Don't you think it might be a little early for cake besides, no one else has seen the finished cakes besides you."

"I was going to eat them I was just going to look at them." Tokaru cooed rather innocently.

Taiyo placed the cakes back inside the fridge, "Sure you were." He joked and gave a small smile as he turned back around towards the table. He knew Tokaru had a sweet tooth for any kind of candy, or cakes. He was suprised the cakes had lasted the night to be honest. "Ok" he sighed and began to divy up the various he had cooked up for breakfast that morning. He took his own dish and followed Tokaru out to the table to eat, where oddly enough it was silent for a few moments.
