Alexis tried analyzing him for weaknesses, but as it appeared his defense was extremely tight. Brows furrowing in determination, she charged at him unleashing another torrent of her bullets. I just gotta keep on looking.

Alexis had forgotten everything that had driven her to this moment. All she wanted was peace, so why was she fighting? Her memories of death and chaos conflicted with the feeling that tugged at her heart as though something was wrong. Things seemed to go in slow motion as Gavin watched the EAF ship pick up speed. Of course they wouldn't do something like that...
One of the officers yelled, "Sir, the enemy ship is going to collide with us! We cannot evade!"
"Brace for impact!"
The ship rocked once again as the EAF ship pierced through the Reflectors and slammed into the Dominion. It seemed that their cannons were the things to be worried about.
Gavin relaxed a bit in his chair, his face contorted in a snarl. These bastards weren't going to get away with damaging his ship like that. "Get all of our tech crew out of the portside catapult and hangar, and seal it off. Turn us around, get that ship in our sights, and tell all mobile suits to get out of the way," he said through clenched teeth. Realization dawned on some of the officers' faces.
"Yes, sir," said the helmsman.
Fortunately, as the Dominion had been moving at the time of the enemy ship's impact, they'd only recieved some superficial damage beneath the portside engine. Quickly enough, the enemy was back in sight; the fronts of the Dominion's "legs" slid down and unfolded, revealing two large cannons.
"Positron Blaster Cannons, fire!"

((I figure that the Reflectors just absorb 150 DP or less, for a sacrifice of 30 EP every turn that they're up; that way, my ship's HP doesn't get all confusing.))

[[Okay, let me go back and try to figure it out. Because when I calculated the 40% into six. I got 2.4. I think I can go back and take 40% of the rolled 3 hits. Is that better? I don't want anyone mad at me for rounding or anything. sad ]]

((The way I do it is the 40% is only for anything over 10dp because otherwise you get all these funky decimals *-*))

A light on the radio flashes. Mark presses it, and the comm activates, crackling though in interference of the debris field, "This is Master Sergeant Reo Wantan, are you friend or foe, and what were you doing inside the L5 base?"
Activating his communications headset, he says, "I was taking something that was made for me. While the UED might not agree on this, I believe that makes it mine, Master Sergeant. Judging by your ship classification, it looks like you aren't so friendly with the UED yourself."

[[You'll get decimals even if your in the higher numbers because 40% of 38 is 15.2... Anyhoo, it doesn't really matter. Someone just told me I had 40% hit rate so I tried to follow it, but if you really want me back at 50. It's fine. biggrin Afterall, someone has to lose in a story.]]

((No its just that... You always round it up to the nearest number, and I only do it over 10... and its not that you only take 40% damage... its that the chances have been changed razz anyways umm.... I dunno, that was originally implemented for me, but I dunno if its on your gundam or not... better check on the Extension thread...))

Alexis burst through the rain of missiles, drawing her arm back, in order to use the whip again. A sudden gasp gripped her when a bright beam of light came charging toward her, and she rolled out of the way just in time before he could deal some heavy damage. The whip wouldn't be any good at this proximity, and she knew it.
Alexis acted quickly and blasted him with her micromissiles, pushing herself far enough away to allow her the use of the rod.
