Cyan got up and Garreth was still asleep in the top bunk of the beds. The youngest walked out of his room and started to walk towards his parents room to wake them up, but he smelt the food being made. His sense of smell wasn't nearly what Raine was, but anyone could smell food in the morning. He then looked towards the steps and was curious. He wasn't used to his mom being awake before him and cooking.

smash had eggs and bacon cooking and he seen cyan around the corner. he smiled and looked at him. "mornin buddy. how are you?". raine got out of her room and went into the bathroom

The little boy was still confused as to why his dad was cooking them breakfast. "Where's mommy?"

he went back to the eggs and flipped them over and looked back at him. "mommy's not feeling good today. she needs to stay in bed." raine finished up in the bathroom then came downstairs, looking into the kitchen.

Cyan seemed upset and looked up at his dad. "Oh... Is she gonna feel better?" Garreth had finally woken up and smelt the air as he did. He figured breakfast wasn't done yet or they would have yelled for him, so he got down from his bed and went into the bathroom, closing the door behind him.

raine came in and looked up at smash, also looking worried. "mommy's sick?" smash finished making the eggs and bacon and started putting them on plates. "yes. mommy has a cold and as long as she stays in bed, she'll get better quicker. so we'll have to make sure she's able to get her rest."

Garreth had finally come in and was rubbing his eyes a bit as he overheard the conversation. He wasn't too happy about the news, either. Cyan just started to ramble on. "But, but... Someone needs to take care of her! Did she take medicine?!"

he started placing the plates on the table and got them milk to drink. "i'll take care of that. what she needs most right now is rest." raine let out a sigh and sat down at the table. "i hope she gets better soon.."

Garreth sat down next to Raine and looked at the breakfast, realizing that this would be the only thing that would taste good that day. He then mumbled to her. "I hope she gets better, too... If she doesn't, we have dad's cooking..." Cyan sat down beside his father and started to eat his breakfast.

she let out and sigh and wispered back as she ate her breakfast. "i know.. that's what i was worried about.." smash rubbed cyan's head a bit then started eating his breakfast.

Garreth started to eat his food after letting out a very small sigh. Cyan smiled as Smash patted him on the head and eventually the two boys were done with their meal and sat there drinking their milk.

smash and raine quickly finished their meal and smash leaned back into his chair. he looked at them and smiled. "so does anyone have anything they wanna do today?"

Garreth just looked at his father and didn't really say anything. He wasn't sure of what he wanted to do and Cyan was too busy using his finger to draw in the ketchup that was leftover on his plate.

he gave a little grin and put his hand on his shoulder. "come on now. you shouldn't play with your food." raine thought for a litle bit, she wanted to see trina but she didn't feel right about it if her mother couldn't come.

Cyan licked his finger off and Garreth let out a sigh. No one was speaking up and he didn't really know what to say. Raine spoke about visiting Trina, which he wouldn't mind, but it wouldn't be a good idea to leave their mother home by herself while she was sick.
