"A what human...?" His eyebrow rose under his hood... he honestly didn't know what she was talking about. "You mean, implants...? No. Nothing like that..." He looked her over. "And no, you don't look stupid. Quite smart and pretty, in fact."
He shrugged. "Can I go? I'm very hungry... I'm normal, like you. Just a street urchin, eh?"

Scarlett looked him over.
Oh I get, he's tainted. He has hooves, what's the worst he could do?
Her stomach growled.
"Uh, do you know where the closest McDonald's is?"

Okay. Too many people. Takiko thought as she noticed all the people who seemed to suddenly come here. The City was usualy deserted, she had been here for days, without a sight of an immortal. Not caring about being seen at all, Takiko began to stroll down a street. There were a few people she passed. Deep inside, she kinda hoped she stayed hiden. Though currently she couldnt care less. So those doubtful and meaningless thoughts remained hidden within her heart. Just like her feelings that were earlier revealed to someone she never wanted to know.

Vincent Sinclaire Walking to his apartment, Vincent happened to see Mercedes drive by. He waited for her 'till she came out, and gave a friendly wave. "You're the one from Demonic Ties - Hey ya. How's it going?" He nodded toward the street, beckoning her to walk with him to his apartment. Payasa_224 Aria saw Mercedes walking down the street and slipped to the shadows so that she could travel faster and catch up. The shadows wrapped around her and within seconds she was standing infront of Mercedes with her hands on her hips. "You've failed me...you're end of the bargain wasn't held up so neither is mine." she was more angry than anything. She refused to believe that it was her fault so she blamed it on the poor Lycan girl. "A poor man in there-!" she stopped. Had she really felt pity for a human? "What?! What, Aria what's this have you fallen for that man?!!!" her master growled, still upset she didn't answer him earlier. No master it was an accident forgive me. she said in an irritable tone that seemed to shut him up. She took a deep breath to calm her body down. She was still shaken that she was going to bite a human. She focused her mine and then found the right words to say. She hated everything she did that girl tonight. She hated everything she's ever done...she's ever been. "I wish you would have told them that I told you to come here..." she sighed. It's not like she could apologise and be forgiven by this girl. She threatened her readily and she hadn't done anything to deserve it. Aria had put this poor girl through hell.
"Okay. This is it. I'm so sick of the people here. You all are crazy, absolutely crazy. Nobody cares for nothing but themselves, making me do s**t I don't want to do then hightail it when there's a fight. No. Let's throw the new girl in the middle."
She stormed off, leaving them in her wake. Her head felt like it was pounding. God, I've landed in crazy town.

"Closest...? Probably not." Darn. He was hoping she'd be on her way. "I do know one, but it's about a mile or so away. Have to go through a few alleys, so if you wanna get there, you're gonna hafta 'hoof it'." He grinned, cloping his feet again... he was sure she wouldn't go for it.

"Sorry-sorry, have a nice night." He nodded, turning... he smiled, patting 'his new gun'. He grinned from behind his hood... it was a fearful grin, glowing yellow eyes and teeth showing suddenly under his hood, making a few people looking at him funny... he stopped immeadately, dancing a bit... as he thought to himself, "Sorry lass... gotta make a living and defend myself from these... 'altered humans'..."

Mercedes had gotten half way up the block when she realized she didn't know where she was walking. She'd been moving to shake off the anger. With a click of her tongue, she turned and headed back towards the parking garage to retrieve her car, grumbling the walk back.
She definitely needed to find her some normal, decent people around here. Just because she was Lycan she felt like she was getting the brunt of people's views on them. It was a terrible thing, but she new the price of being one.
She walked into the parking garage. She wanted out of this place. She hopped into her car and sped off.

"What a douche bag," she said under her breathe.
As she rested her hands at her sides, she automatically went to the feel for her gun.
She gasped loudly and turned around.
"Hey! Come back!" she shouted running to catch up with him.

"Whoop. Another chase." He turned, giving her a wink before starting to run... he was quick, but not going as quick as he could... so many people around here, after all... He grinned, putting his hand in his pocket and turning on the MP3 to his favorite song on it... "Don't Stop Me Now"... by Queen.
He turned, looking back at her... running into traffic. Against traffic. He slid under a large-wheeled trolley, (doable by mortals, just hard... horray for short characters!) after it passed, getting up and weaving through open spots against traffic, trying to loose her. He had run all his life.. .and unlife.

"You have got to be kidding me," she shouted. People looking at her strangely.
She started sprinting after him.
Holy s**t this guy is fast.
She ran after him the best she could, it was no use.
She gave up and started walking home.
Time to get a new gun.

Takiko watched the the two people or whatever they were run. One chasing the other. One was possibly a tainted, she wasnt sure though. "It doesnt matter. We're all going to die in the end. Immortal or not." Takiko muttered once they passed her. She muttered it low enough so now mortal could hear her, but loud enough so they two running could pick it up.

He was lucky... his satyr-like horn kept the hood up, so that no one could see his face, or race, and no one seemed to take notice of his hooves. He grinned, spinning the gun and sticking it in a pocket... walking once more. He walked into an alley, looking around...
He found a sleeping bum, most likely drunk. He kneeled down, taking the man's shoes, and stuck them on, tying them secure with the shoelaces. He nodded, and was on his way to find a resturant...
Then he blinked, the odd speech of one of the people he passed ringing in his ear... "It doesnt matter. We're all going to die in the end. Immortal or not." He snorted, shaking his head. "Another loony doomsayer. As if we don't have enough of them in this city." A man on the street looked to Ghorkel with a smile and an "Amen to that."
Ghorkel smiled at the man from under his hood, and walked on his way.

Coming out of the shadows, Takiko ran right in front of the man. Her eyes seemed to have a sudden fire in them. Takiko purposly stood directly in his way. "What are you." Even from here, she could tell his blood was not human, nor lycan. That was all that was important. Though a though passed her mind to kill him anyway.
