"Erm. Miz - ? Vincent Sinclaire, nice.. to .. meet you??" The confused vincent held out a hand to shake. "Im assuming something happened between you two? Maybe I should let you two work this out and instead walk home alone... Maybe I'll see you later, Mercy." With a wave, he was gone.

She quickly turned around and took him by his wrist. "Don't go." she growled and then backed off. "I'm the one who needs to leave..." she looked at Mercedes and Vincent. "Just...forget you ever met me." she said and slinked back to the shadows. Her head was a messed up place she couldn't decipher and it began to pound. She let the darkness wrap around her and she traveled back to the chapterhouse as her curiosity of the man called Lezard heightened. ((Exit to The Chapterhouse))

Ghorkel ran along the street, turning back to see the two policemen still on his trail. "Damn..." Seeing an alley ahead, he went into it... the policemen soon followed. Further down the alley, Ghorkel tripped, but got back up.. .leaving his shoes behind, which slipped off of his hooves.
"Only way I'll loose them is to..." He dropped the badge, and kept running, scrambling over a fence like any other mortal could. He kept running on the other side... policemen stopped, giving up the chase, and turned back around.
Running up a few trashcans and a fire escape, Ghorkel looked over the roof of the building at the two policemen, listening.
One sighed, "Little punk thief kid... didn't even know he took my badge." The man looked at the badge, then screamed a rude word. His buddy looked at the badge and started laughing. Ghorkel had carved 'General a*****e' on the badge. Ghorkel yelled out a quick "Sorry!" Before dissapearing off the rooftop in a flash.
He ended up elsewhere, still grinning... he had never been in this part of town, but it didn't matter. Not like he lived anywhere...

Down the sidewalk came Ghorkel... in his haste to get away before, he had forgotten that he had no shoes anymore... he was clopping along, goatlike hooves hitting the pavement as he walked past the woman, Scarlett... He was listening to the MP3 he had stolen from a youth earlier, and was singing along to one of the songs... pleasant voice, considering where he came from.

Scarlette stopped whistling when she saw a man with no shoes on walk past her. Holy s**t, does he have hooves? She thought as her eyes narrowed. She stopped walking and considered following him. What the hell is he? She decided to follow and saw that he was listening to music. That'll make things easier.

Ghorkel had this odd, dance-like walk, tapping and swaying as he moved to the music. His song was like this:
"Work It Harder Make It Better Do It Faster, Makes Us stronger More Than Ever Hour After Our Work Is Never Over..."
He jumped in the air, doing a little spinning move, before hitting the ground... if not for the hooves, which no one really seemed to notice, people could just mistake him for a child... waist-height.

Scarlett raised an eyebrow as the man jumped into the air. This guy keeps getting weirder. She slowed her pace just in case he looked behind.

Oblivious to anyone following him, Ghorkel decided to get a meal... seeing a potencial target, he walked towards the male mortal... then 'accidently' bumped into the man, falling over. The man grunted at Ghorkel, going on his way, and Ghorkel got up, scowling at the man and continuing on... after the man was gone, Ghorkel took out his prize... a black leather wallet. He grinned, taking out the money within and throwing the rest of the wallet in a nearby trash can. "S'what you get... karma. Should've said sorry... well, I get dinner, so apology accepted."
The man... and he sounded like a man, not a child, was a thief, appearantly... not too unusual... the odd part was that he was talking to himself. "Now... resturant... where to find one... I could ask someone... bah. I think I'll just go home." He turned, almost bumping into his pursuer. "Oh! Sorry. Didn't see you there. 'Scuze me." He walked around her, continuing on his way.

Scarlett just stood there dumbfounded as the man walked around her. "Hey!" she yelled at him as he walked away.

The man turned... yellow eyes meeting hers, scars and burns momentarily seen from under his hood. "I'm sorry... do you need something? I don't know my way around here, so you're s**t outta luck if you need directions." His voice he had changed, mimicing a youth.

"Uhh," she stuttered,"what the hell are you?" Scarlett's hand felt for the pistol in the holister around her waist.

He looked at her, obviously confused. "Hmmm...? What are you talking about?" He looked down at himself... particuarly, his feet. "Oh. Those." He used his normal lie, coming out like it was common knowledge. "It's a special costume footwear. I love halloween so much, I'm always in costume... there are weirder things in New York, I assure you, eh?" He seemed to be in good humor. "Is that all you need?"

Scarlett's eyes narrowed. "Do I look that stupid?" she said putting her hands on her hips, "What are you? An altered human? "
