"It's only safer when we're at sea." Uriel confesses, "Some people... have the ability to tell if I'm nearby, even if I'm not using my powers. And a lot of those people want to kill me. I don't want to stay here too long. Someone might figure out... and I could bring danger down on you and your crew."

Uriel looks up at him, a little surprised by such an admission, and then looks away guiltily. Orient's so nice to him, he doesn't deserve to be put in danger by his presence, "I'd feel better if I wasn't."

Orient decides not to reply to this, because he would rather Uriel stay. He makes a mental note to switch course up a bit, and leave the docking at Byzel for as long as he can avoid it.

He looks down, and very much resists the urge to sigh. Uriel shifts over a bit so he can rest his head on Orient's chest. He'd like to stay... but his crush on the pirate would end up hurting him eventually, and he knows some blues, or worse purples, will attack eventually, if he stays on board too long.

Orient runs his hands through Uriel's hair and then runs his hands over the boy's narrow shoulders.

Uriel smiles a little, since that feels good. He gives up on just resting his head on Orient's chest, and actually climbs on top of the pirate, lying down on him.

"It's supposed to." Orient replies. "I actually took massage as a class in school. Apparently I was supposed to learn it so that I could soothe my wife, in the eventuality that I got married."

Uriel blinks, not having been to much 'school', beyond the little bits of teachings they gave in the orphenage, "They teach things like this in school?"
