Hey, opaj. Glad to see you here.
Opaj is working on Atlantica Online, a sort of strategy rpg game, if I'm not mistaken. I've been meaning to play it, but been too busy with a few things.

Also, while I'm at it, I want to discuss the judging system for the next tournament, since opaj reminded me that I've been meaning to do a point-based system for some time. Here's a draft of what I want to do in the next GTB. Opinions welcomed. Quote: Point System: Fighter can gain up to 5 points in each category.Spelling/ Grammar Punctuation, spelling, right word usages. Conciseness/ Writing AbilityDoes the writer have a good grasp on making the details clear to the reader? How good is the writer at in creating an effective and/or interesting writing scheme, in addition to augmenting their clarity? RoleplayingDoes the writer stick to their character's personality and overall "feel?" If a fighter is a stubborn fool, then the posts should show this. Dialogue and mood setting can also can attribute to this. Creativity/ StrategyUnique plans or good strategies that make use of the fighter's situation, setting, and ability are examined. If they have both, even better. EntertainmentWhether the fighter is a classic theater entertainer or is capable of expressing drama to the extent that it isn't cliche, the fighter must make the reader interested in wanting to read about them more. Control of the FightHow well was the fighter dominating the fight?

Imo, entertainment can be put into "writing ability," "roleplaying," and "creativity." It plays into all three, and I feel that you would simply be addressing them over again if you had an "Entertainment" section. It would be better to just remove that, and let it be expressed in the other portions, where one could be deemed entertaining via their ability or lack thereof (writing ability, roleplaying ability, ability to be creative or to plan). Redundancy would just slow down the judging process.
If you keep it, I would suggest reworking the description. Not all characters are dramatic, or have what it takes to be played in a "dramatic" or "theatrical" manner. So it would be somewhat biased towards characters of a certain type that might play into common themes found in something like anime. Shouting attacks and what have you. Entertainment, if kept, should be based on the overall entertainment you felt while reading the fight based on the person's writing, their character's actions, and the portrayal of that character.
Which, again, sort of fits into writing, roleplaying, and creative abilities >_>

Oh my, Atlantica? I used to play that quite heavily when it first came out. Always intended to pick it back up, it gave me the feeling of an offline RPG playable online.

I know, and I agreed with you.
I mean.. it CAN be separate.. but it's pretty well blended with the other judging portions that you really can't give it its own category without drawing on what you've already talked about in the other categories. So it would just be a redundant measure.
