Kim's Blade met the unknown assaliant's blade and showers of blue sparked off the blades when they connected. Kim knew his blade wasn't normal and if he was observant he should notice the same thing. He spun quickly then any 'normal' human could and faced her. Kim could see the
fangs and was a bit startled but didn't let it show instead she went into a
defencive posture and reached out with her mind to his mind and memories and it came to her like a shot .... he was the brother of the vampire who tried to kill her with a sword. "Get out" Kim heard the vampire's mind as he realized she was in it.
Kim knew she would have to kill him..no other choice and she knew that he was stronger and faster than she was over the long haul... She needed to get him in close. "I'm Mikhal Belosi and you shall perish by the sword as did my brother." he said. She had a strategy...it was dangerous but if it
worked the fight would be over quick. "Your brother was a coward and begged for his life." said Kim. It wasn't true but she was trying to get him to loose his temper. As they circled each other Kim did her best to insult his brother and family and slowly he moved closer hoping that Kim wouldn't notice. Kim did notice and she was doing the same thing and then he sprung suddenly and in mid stride Kim reached into his mind and whispered "Pain" and he crumpled hitting the roof in the fetal position. Kim
moved moved like lightening stricking Mikhal's sword arm leaving a vicious
wound which cut muscle and tendons rendering it next to useless.
"Witch..you have read my mind it is the only way you could defeat me."
screamed Mikhal. His sword fell from his grasp to the roof and he said. "I'll
take you to hell with me." He began a charge the rage in his red eyes she
held her ground and just waited...Just before he reached Kim he gasped and staggered. It took but a moment for him to recognize his own blade
sticking thru him, he fell to his hands and knees coughing up blood. "Damn
you b***h....Damn you." Kim moved swiftly behind him and struck the pressure points that would even a vampire. She could smell his anger and the psyhic energy...she struck before she could stop herself and sunk her
fangs into Mikhal and drained his psyhic energy and his emotions too.
Kim looked down upon him and knew that come the moring he would be ash, but the rush she got feeding off a vampire was the most intoxicating
feeling she ever had. Humans could not begin the feeling she was having.
Kim picked up Mikhal's sword and worked herself to the Hudson and tossed the sword as far as she could into the river. She hailed a taxi and went home and to bed.

Edith stormed out of the bar, shoving people out of her way and over as she went, receiving profanity after profanity as she shouldered, elbowed, and pushed her way through the flow of demons, vampires, lycans, and humans. She did not even so much as see them as she struggled to get outside, she was barely aware of where she was. It wasn't often that she got this angry, but right now she was so angry that she did not stop for anything or anyone and the world knew just how pissed off she was.
One wrong look and you had a black eye. One wrong word you had to book a dental appoinment. Stepping into her path resulted in being slammed against a wall, pummeled into the pavement, or shoved aside. Soon enough, people on the sidewalk got the hint and they actually walked on the road just so that they would not be violently slammed around by her unleashed temper.
Suddenly, Edith felt a lustful craving. A craving that sustained her. That kept her alive. She needed blood. She needed it now. Then the craving overtook her, switched her into her blood lust mode and in an inhuman blur of no motion since she was so fast you could not even see that, she started off after a secluded area where she could feed. It didn't take long for her to find a back alleyway where some snobby business associate was getting mugged.
She easily took on the muggers, snapping their necks as if they were mere twigs. The vampiric half of her sniggered at the sight and basked at the warmth of the human's bodies against her own as she cradled them much like children as she drank from them. "There there child. See? There was no reason for Edith to cry. She did a good thing. She saved man from a terrible fate. Now she will rid the world of this pest."
Immediately her blood-red eyes turned to the business associate who had been about to be robbed. The man was stricken by panic, too shocked to move so when she came to him, she walked over slowly, sneering diabollically as she approached. She gently brushed her lips against his neck, inhaling his scent, even licking his neck gently. The man trembled and was so scared that he wet himself. She then clamped down, through his tender skin and feasted on him as well, holding him as if she were dancing with him. "All better now,' the eerie voice that was so abnormal that there really was no other description for it stated, even adding on 'Angel' at the end to mock her, 'Man's happy now. He loves you for what you did, Angel."

The crazed vampiress merely stopped for a second, looking over her shoulder, casting her hungry gaze upon the newcomer. She did not hear him, at least Edith couldn't, only the vampire could. And seeing as she was a vampire, naturally she preyed upon humans and to the vampire, there was no difference between the muggers, the business associate, nor this young gentleman whom would likely be rethinking why he had not shot her when had his chance.
The vampiress now turned so that her entire body was facing Lezard. 'Hello child.' the eerie voice said almost lustfully, almost cooing but not quite.

The battle long over, and still not a scratch on Takiko. It had seemed, that even through the cold, she could still fight. Well, at times. Sometimes she came out on the losing end from surprise attacks. Of which she used to be a natrual master of.
There was only the soft sound of her feet crunching through a small layer of snow beneath her. All seemed silent except her footsteps.

The vampire did not really have that long an attention span, it gazed at him with it's blood-red eyes and merely smirked at him as it watched his every movement, rather eerily. She looked as though she could just shoot off at any moment, just lose it and go wild. That was probably true since Edith had no control, the vampire was much more thirsty than it normally was, really abnormal since she had been keeping her feeding times in check and she had not been due for another four days.
"Ink is not busy no mor- RUN YOU STUPID KID!" Suddenly the vampire snarled, absolutely enraged at Edith's interruption, hissing as it mangled the body it held. All of the unstable vampire's rage was channeled into mangling the body furthermore. It was a rather grotesque sight. "Don't mind that. That's just annoying voice that likes to bug me."

Tokeru followed the signal for a few minutes, untill finally sighting Edith, surrounded by a few bodies, and having an unarmed human infront of her. "Damnit, not again." he cursed.
He plunged down towards the earth, and landed in front of the mortal.
"Run you stupid idiot, i'll deal with her."
He pushed the man away to get him running, and turned towards Edith. "Edith, I know you're in there, and I know you don't want to hurt me, but I will let you feed on me if you want to get it out of your system."

Yet another obstacle separating the vampire from it's target, the one that the other half of it cared for exceedingly so. This was exactly why the vampire took even less of an interest in Tokeru since it loathed how it's other half cared about him. However, that did not mean that it could be stopped from harming him or attempting to.
Instead of going for the human, the vampire threw itself into Tokeru's arms, embracing him tenderly, fangs elongating further yet but concealed by it's closed mouth. As opposed to talking, it merely nuzzled Tokeru's cheek and toyed playfully with him. Then it moved down from his cheek to his neck and throat which it gently licked and scraped with its fangs.

Tokeru was glad when it appeared that Edith had returned to him and embraced him, but when she didn't say anything, and just exposed her fangs, he knew something was wrong.
Slamming his scythe into the ground so it stood upright, the grabbed the vampire's head with both hands, and forced it away.
"I dont know who you are, or what you did to Edith, but I will have her back with me.

The vampire fell loose of his grip, not completely, allowing his hand to still hold her, but she hung her head so that her hair concealed most of her blood-red eyes as well as her sinister grin. It then gently hissed at him, not in a threatening way or in an aggressive manner at all, merely an unusual one. "Angel's going to make the Temptress sad if he hurts her like that." The vampire's grin only inscreased from there, making it appear manical, head still slung as it grinned, only adding to the eerie effect.
It then whirled around, breaking Tokeru's grip on it for the few seconds it needed to seize his arm. The vampire cradled his arms as if it were a child, then it touched his hand to it's host's body. It then sniggered and gently kissed a trail up his arm, scraping it's nails along after each kiss.

Tokeru grinned as the vamprie took edith nickname for him, and twisted it.
As she grabbed his arm, he pulled away, scraping a trail down his arm.
"Perhaps in another life i could have appreciated someone like you, but right now, I want edith. And she would understand if i need to hurt her to stop you. And I will be able to heal her afterwards, anyway. So really, you have no advantage on me."
Tokeru rushed forwards, and kissed the vampire on the lips, hoping to draw edith out that way.

The sudden rush from Tokeru and the sudden rush of passion that emerged from it's other persona was enough to overwhelm the vampire and throw it back into the dark chasms of Edith's mind. However, the vampire was eternally a part of Edith, there was no escaping her need for blood, her will to live. There was no way of being completely certain that the vampire was in check, but right now, if ever there was a time when it was, it was now.
Edith embraced Tokeru, taking him into her arms, deepening the kiss, closing her eyes that had brightened to a lime green color. All she could do was hold him and kiss him, keep him close, make sure he was safe, and be grateful that these people had not been Tokeru or someone else she cared for, or the man whom had been trying to help her. If Tokeru hadn't come ....
