Joey walked through the streets with his cards in his hand, shuffling and drawing the top card over and over again, continuing to find the ace. "Ok..I'm certain now...something's definately wrong" he said to himself as he put away the cards. He walked down a cross street and saw Lezard's face above all others. the way he was clothed, and as well as his disposition suggested that he was one of the hunters. Joey took the turn as he walked towards Lezard on the almost empty street.

Joey got some humor out of Lezard's act and chuckled. "Ay, I'm not American, first of all" he said in his natural British accent. "I moved here recently, I'm afraid...but if you 'appen to be looking for Haven, I'll be 'appy to lend my fellow hunter a hand" he said politely.

Joey smiled. "The people around here are oblivious enough not to hear our conversation...but If you feel like being a bit discreet" he whispered. "Come back with me to the residential district... we can speak freely there" he said as he looked around, looking at all the ignorant faces in the streets around them.

Joey's face became stern as Lezard began to insult him. "I'm not an idiot you ignorant....listen, I can tell a hunter from a mile away." he said, trying to keep himself from tearing into this clown. "You're new to the city, chances are that you haven't met any local vampires. Also, the Vampires haven't used familiars in almost forever, so I doubt you could be one." he explained, showing his reasoning. "Oh, and I highly doubt yelling at me is being discreet" he said as he pointed his eyes over to someone who was watching them. "So unless YOU want to be the one to expose the secret on the first day in the country, you might want to step down from your high horse" he said coldly.

"Nightwalkers to me?..." he said in thought. "To me, they're the race that ruined my parents, leaving me alone with only one friend i my life, whom, by the way, was the one who hurt them th most." he said in explanation. "But I agree with you, I am also under the pretense that they deserve life" he said softly.

"They call me Joey" he said as he accepted the handshake. "Joey Frost" he finished before looking at the keychain. "Well it's nice to meet um...you too...Roland" he said with an interested look on his face.

Joey nodded. "I know a place....right in the middle of our little world." he said as he turned towards Haven. "Come...there's a bar in our Haven" he said as he started to walk towards the Haven.
