Rai Scrawled a few more thing of what he'd tell his father when he got back. He smiled as he put the pencil and small notebook back into his front pocket. "On to the next one now." He clenched his fists making a few of his knuckles pop and looked down the page for the next symbol. Uma. He found it and started reading a little about it. When he was confident enough he attempted to mirror the handsigns. He smiled as his fingers flowed into the position. He held them there and focused. It didn't take long before he was able to feel a spark. His smile grew as he released it knowing he did a good job, or well at least he hoped he did a good job. He looked around wondering where the other children may be and sighed. He had a few friends but once they found out he was going to train and be a shinobi they all left for fear of him.

After the deep breaths Rai looked confident. He studied the sign and felt like he had it this time. He rotated his shoulders as if he was going to box his way through three matches at once. He took his stance. Hand on an imaginary sword facing a non-visible opponent. He dodged the first attack and made the handsign. Running around the room dodging the opponents slashes. Still nothing came. He sighed and let the final slash hit him as the figment dispersed into thin air. "Even my own imagination can't help me." Rubbing where the last strike would have made contact. "If I was attacked I'd be dead in the first seconds of it. Oh what am I going to do?~" He growled running his fingers through his hair, ruffling it even farther. "No. I won't get beat by a Handsign!" He pointed his finger at the book jumping back. "You are a worthy opponent Mister Book." The book just stays there slowly growing a face and speaks back. "As are you young Raikane but in order to learn of my knowledge you must defeat me." Rai glares at the book and ponces. "You're on Mister Book." He grabs the book and starts rolling as it attacks his face then in another roll hes got it in a hold. Then suddenly another roll and hes on his stomach pounding on the floor for mercy as the book is on his back grabbing his leg and twisting it. He wiggles free and jumps back. Panting he wipes his mouth. "You are very good book, but you're a cheater. If only you could play fair I might have stayed longer but it's impossible to beat a cheater." Rai turns away pretending to be arrogant and pretends to close his eyes waving off the book, but secretly he watches it out of the corner of his eye. "No. No." The book says. "I'm not a cheater. I'll tell you something to help you with the O-ushi sign." Rai walks over to the book as it whispers into his ear. Rai nods."Yeah. Uh huh. Okay. I see. Oh really? Hmm never would have thought of that. Hmmm. Good point. I know. I know. HAHA yeah her hair did look funny today. I KNOW, could you believe what he did to the ramen? I know HAHAHA. It was funny watching him wear it as a hat." Rai takes a step back and bows. "Oh thank you book-sensei." The book puffs up and pats him on the head, "You are young and naive. I am old and wise." The book said and Rai smiled still bowed, "Thank you for your wise words book-sensei."




(OCC: Lol im sorry for whoever reads it, i just felt like having fun and making myself laugh, *bows* please forgive me.)

Rai moves on to the next page and start to read a little of it not really understanding much but finds the next sign. Saru. Rai looks at the sign seeing he could possibly do it. Nodding he sets his fingers how it looks like on the books page. "Cake walk." He focuses trying to reclaim that feeling of success. The clicking from the clock start to unnerve him. reminding how long has passed without a single feeling. He dropped his hands to the side. "I came close that time. I felt something but as I tried to grasp it. It vanished." He clenched his fist. "So now the monkey is my opponent.... But where can I find a monkey?...I bet one of the other students has a monkey and the monkey told him how to do it.... evil monkey."

Rai fanned himself and stood up. He looked around to make sure no one was around and shrugged. It didn't really matter to him so he didn't know why he even looked. He turned and took off his jacket and over shirt. Making sure the notebook was safe first, he sat down and looked at the sign that was giving him so much problems. He took a deep breath and held it. Blowing it out slowly he closed his eyes and made the sign. Something still felt wrong but he didn't know what. The time slowly drifted on. He lifted an eyelid to check the time and groaned when it had only been twenty five seconds. He growled under his breath and released the sign.

He got half way through the pocky when an actual good plan came into his head that didn't involve bowing down to monkeys and becoming their slave. He formed the sign one more time. He was so hung up on the plan he didn't even notice the feeling. "Oh great Monkey King. Please grant me your wisdom so I may become a shinobi and hide far from my mother and her scary yet kind ways. Oh great Monkey King. I beseech you." Only then did he notice the feeling and he smiled. " Oh thank you wise and noble Monkey King." He smiled. "Two Thirds down and only... four more... Ack."

His dream was a mangled concoction of monkeys, dogs, rams and a few other shadowy figures chasing him and throwing giant pocky sticks at him. Suddenly he bolted up with a jolt and looked around, book stuck to his forehead. Looking at the clock and taking the book down he sighed with relief. " Only five minutes has past since I've been out. I was a little worried there for a second. Time to start the sign again. . . I'll show that Ram to throw pockies at me. Forming the sign he held it and concentrated as a small tingling sensation spread across his body. "Take that you stupid ram. HAHAHAHAHA!~ I win."

rai looked up from the book and stared out the nearest window. The sun had barely moved. He Smiled as he looked down at the book. "The sun is high in the sky and you will be defeated here. Nezumi. I will claim this victory for those who have THUMBS." Wiggles thumbs back and forth. He made the sign smiling. He held his hands like that for a few seconds. He was about to give up when he suddenly felt it. He knew he had got it right. That feeling was an indicator of his success. He released it. His smile grew easily and he stretched out and started walking around the classroom. "I wonder when Sensei will be here. I have yet to meet him."

Rai slowly leaned forward catching the book and studied the snake sign one more time. When finished he closed the book with one hand sliding it into his pocket. His dark hazel eyes becoming darker yet and smiles evil. "I know of your secrets Snake. I won't lose this time. " Making the sign once more he bit it quickly and pulled back wincing a little but still staying focused. He held it as a light feeling washed over him and smiled as a result. " I told you that I'd beat you. When I say something I intend to keep it unless circumstances stop it from happening. Thankfully I haven't been put in that situation ever." He smiled arrogantly and brushed the hair out of his eyes.

Raikane stretches and smiles. "Only one more and my dream so far only showed me those two that would give me problems. This is a sure win." Smiling he took the book out of his pocket and started to look at the Tora sign. He actually liked that sign. He made the handsign and and smiled feeling it come over him after only a second or two. He released and jumped up happily. He looked around for another book. When he skimmed one that said, "Ranged Training Guild and Point Systems." He thinks about what could be in there and smiles evilly as his mind generates people jumping and flying in the air throwing knifes hundreds of of miles pinning people to the ground. Shaking his head he laughed. "Yeah like that's possible, hahahaha."
