((Damn you people and your long posts. Now I'm gonna have to try doing one. But of course, I won't. And that's simply because I'm too lazy for that sort of thing. DAMNIT ALL!! stressed ))

][ xd Maybe it's a sign we should be trying to improve our roleplaying skills. Of course, I told myself I never want to get to the point of writing 30 paragraphs for an intro.][

(( I got to that point...it isn't fun anymore. It really sucks the energy out of the room when no one can do what ya just did... and then it gets irritating because it feels like no one's trying and then you become an a**l-retentive elitist..

Then again, patience is a virtue I lack...and when I play with Jackie I'm often barraging her with 'are you done yet?" via ims. Then she surprises me with a midget post and I wait..and wait.. and wait for her to finish until I im her and she's all like "oops, I forgot to tell you.

ack.. now i'm rambling.))

Bertram flushed. "Oh... um..." he didn't know what to do, then. "Well... I'm scared of almost everything on the planet..." he blushed at admitting it. "So, you're braver than me... I could never do your job." He looked thoughtful for a moment. "Would you like me to show you around?"

Her brows raised for a moment, and then she smiled. "I thought people were supposed to be the ones afraid of ghosts, but it's alright. I'm sure you'll overcome your fears someday." Ikue straightened herself out a bit, letting her arms drop back down to her sides, then placing her hands onto her knees. A bright expression took over her face. "Show me around? That would be great!"

((Hey, I was influenced by the other long posts! XP))

Kourin cackles, very happy that her clothes are finally dry. She had waited so long for them to dry. She spins around, now glaring at the dryer part of the washer and dryer combo machine. She grins, almost evilly, as if to say, 'In your face, dryer', but what she was really saying was, 'In your face, luck'. After doing that, she turns around and makes her way out of the room.

"I have to change rooms around. Since there is no working dryer, and no refridgerator."

She slides her hand into her jacket, pulling out the key, so that when she exits, she can lock the door behind her. And that's exactly what she does when she exits the room. And with that out of the way, she heads down the hall, to grab herself a different room key, to 'borrow for a while'.

Abigor-X
He tries to follow the little tyke, staring at him and the kindred spirit that resonated from his back. He didn't question these bizarre acts, but reconciled that he struck a nerve and would try his best not to agitate the situation any further. His hand swept through his bangs, his silver hair radiating under the newfound light of the room. He was still in the doorway, and not quite welcomed in yet. He stays hunched over, thinking of how to retaliate appropriately, but the ring wouldn't let him.

A jar, Abigor. Stuff that pip squeak in a jar now!

The voice wasn't more than a whisper, but it was surely heard. It sounded like the wind speaking, but the words were too well-formed to be just wind-games. Abigor sweatdrops and backs up, closing his eyes and shaking his head a little. "Shut up- Excuse me.. Mr. Gorotsuki. I'm sorry," he motions apologetically and sighs deeply. "I suppose you'll be the big man while the owner is out?" He grinned at the use of his words, but this time Gorotsuki probably deserved it.

As for being an adolescent.. It's been over an eon since Abigor was so young as to be even concidered a young adult, and his childhood consisted of nothing more innocent than a daily brick to the back of the head. He always got picked on as a child for his differences, and they only made him stronger now, didn't they?

-Oh, she had worked herself up over nothing. The stranger in question was not her brother, although it was no wonder she'd been spooked. Both men radiated the same intense darkness, making it easier to confuse either one of them if one was relying on nothing but their senses.

Violet eyes danced between Hakan's tense figure and the adult upon the threshold. From where she stood halfway down the stairs, it was impossible to judge how tall the stranger really was...he just looked big.

Her left ear twitched a bit as she heard their conversation transpire. No, no peace...ever Taking a deep breath, she continued to make her way down the stairs.- Make I help you then?

-Mimi's comment had been directed toward the silver haired man, of course. And if he was looking for a literall 'big man' in charge of things, he'd be quite surprised to find nothing more than tiny neko to answer to.

As she reached the reception desk she raked her hands through the damp, shoulder length strands of silver in an effort to make them presentable.-

Hakan was about to lash out again, however the spirit not only held a phsyichal link with him, but a mental. she was telling him to back down for once, telling him to simply ignore the elgest demon. Oh, how Hakan just wanted to lash out! Oh, how he wanted to feel the blood of this figure before him on his hands.

Such horrific thoughts.. Such terrible images were in his mind at the moment. It was scary, even to him. He could almost see himself ripping this being before him apart. He could almost taste the blood as Hakan let the beast inside of him take over.

He could feel his hands heat up, he could feel so much energy surging within him, and yet, he knew that he probably couldn't even leave behind a scratch on this foe before him.

He could almost feel him reverting to a much more demonic form he had adopted long ago. He could feel the pupils of his eyes changing to slits, he could almost feel his would be claws sharpen and grow in length. He could almost feel fangs growing inside his mouth, and his face distorting.

One might even be able to see his eyes fade into an amber color. He could have lost control, he could have gone beserk! But what purpose would it served if he got himself killed? Especially in front of Kyaroru-chan! She'd seen enough over the past few days.

Hakan, if he wasn't such a clean person mentally, could have spit on the floor and walk away. Instead, he would simply turn to face Kyaroru. He tried, he honestly did, but he cou;dn't even face her with his normally smiling face. No, it wouldn't come to him! His mind was now an aweful place to be with images of rivers of blood running through it.

No, Mimi would see a different face, something which one might find much scarier. His face had distorted into a murderous, angry expression. He didn't want Mimi to see him like this, not at all. Instead, he would take to a tactic familer to him, running..

Although he didn't literally flee the scene, he would storm off to his room as he might have at his previous home. It was something he hated, and yet it came to him naturally.

Bertram looked hurt. "I'm a people!" He retorted, angrily. But it was false anger, and he knew it. They both knew it. "Um... I don't want to get in the way, so we can just go directly into the park through the bar door..." The wraith walked over to the door, and tried to open it. He had to jimmy it for a second before it silently slid open. "Right this way, Ikue... let's find some rides that aren't too high..."

He led her down one of the park's alleys, heading for the midway and arcades just to collect his bearings. As he walked by the carousel, he temporarily stiffened but then continued walking, hoping she hadn't noticed. He studied her out of the corner of his eye, smiling thinly. He supposed that beautiful young woman exorcists weren't as rare as they seemed, but he still couldn't make the necessary leap of judgement. "So..." he started, but then stopped.

The young man nodded to various spiritual couples as they passed, including ghosts and just assorted spirits. "Konichiwa, Tengu-san," he bowed as they passed a large raven, before turning back to Ikue. "Um... I'm afraid that we generally lead nocturnal existences here, Ikue. So, it might be difficult for you to find anyone while you're awake, at least at first. I mean, I might be awake during the day, but I'm generally useless then as I don't have any of my powers."

They reached the arcade, finally. Inside, every game was on and some of them were being played by spectral visitors. Down the midway, spirits were busy playing for prizes. Behind them was the hotel, to the right was the roller-coaster, and down the midway was a variety of standard rides. "Um... this is the centre of the park..." Bertram blushed, realising how stupid he sounded.

-If the strange man's stature did not surprise her, Hakan's abrupt exit certainly did! She hardly had time to reach out for him to stay before he had walked beyond her reach.

She was now left alone to deal with the newest customer...one who to her misfortune, reminded the young girl of Daisuke. After having taken a deep breath and pinned her bottom lip beneath those pearly whites, Mimi turned around once more to face the door.

In fact, she almost expected the man's features to change into those of the millinistic male she so dreaded. Thankfully, he remained the same. -

As Kourin finally exits the hallway, she finds Mimi behind the front desk. And since she was there, she had to wait to get herself a new room key. She growls lighty, this irritated her. She really wanted to get a new key, and be on her way. But, since someone was there, she had to wait. And besides, she didn't want to be caught, now did she?

And with that, she heads over to the couch, to watch and wait for her chance to snatch a brand new key. And she didn't want to wait long.

Ikue blinked after the timid ghost boy responded to what she has said, then let out a small laugh. She found it kind of cute, how this person acted. "Eh heh heh, I'm sorry." Ikue got out of her seat and followed Bertram outside, towards the park's center. She would look, not stare, at the various beings that wandered around here. Ikue was most likely, or probably the only human in this place. She was rather excited as well, for she liked to see new places or see things you don't usually see everday. It made Ikue regret leaving her camera behind in her room, but she figured it would be kind of rude to just take pictures of these people. And finally, they arrived at their destination. Ikue continued to observe her new surroundings, interested in everything that caught her eye.
