Why I joined? I never found homosexuals disgusting or anything like that since the day I learned about it. So I am a strong support of those who are and it'd be interesting to make a new group of friends. biggrin

I'm an adult, married, straight female, but I like to roleplay as a gay male. Why? I just enjoy it. For other reasons... I had a rather painful encounter in my past that made me really re-assess how I felt and thought about the world of homosexuality. I fought really hard to step into it and understand it, and I am still working really hard to do just that.
That's why I'm here. I very much represent the straight, very hard-nosed side of things. I also, represent it with much sorrow. I've seen a lot of abuse from my side of things and not so much from the other. I'm seeking ways to smooth things over and get one side to understand and care for the other and find a way to bring an end to the animosity. I need every one of you to be a shining example of who you are and the group you represent. I'll be taking back my findings to my "clan," and I hope to have something to present to them. I want them to believe in you. I want them to open up their hearts to you. That, I think, is the only way we can end this.

Everyone seems to just assume that because I'm dating a guy, I'm not really "bisexual", and that makes me really mad. I am attracted to women, and I am attracted to men, but I don't need them both.
