Tython - Elarian Trail

Elyria was in no mood...she kept walking leaving the two to their own devices...she had too much to do before once again disembarking to let herself be distracted...flipping open her comm she paged the Wren....Dee...Elyria here..you should be seeing your Captain soon...I'm afraid we will be taking off again shortly...yes..I'. afraid so...I'll let him explain...Dee...may I speak to the Grandmaster?..he..he..isn't?..then...where...never mind...I'll meet you at the ship.... her brow creased..where?...ahhh Mahara Kesh... using her comm to contact the Temple... Stone here...I need you to assemble a small team of medics..I understand..I know we're jammed with the wounded from Voss...but it is on Council orders...three is more than enough...but be sure they are armed...this recon could get ugly...we must be prepared...right..has the Grandmaster stopped in..well he seemed okay...but he had suffered some injuries...no sign of him..hmmm...okay..thank you... she couldn't imagine where Ka'all could be...when he didn't show up at the Council..well..she had her preparations to make..if time allowed she would check the Master's Garden...a favorite place of his..hopefully she would be able to connect up with him before taking off....

Elyria was lost in thought as the doors opened before her ...as she walked down the hall she peeked into some of the classrooms..she couldn't help but smile at their eager young faces...Master Stone! Master Stone! she was suddenly surrounded by her students..taking the time to speak with them, they excitedly told her about their training and all she missed being away so long...she laughed as she listened to all their stories..and told them a little bit about her travels making it sound a lot less frightening than some of it had actually been...when one of the instructors' finally called the children back they hugged her in turn and she wistfully said her goodbyes work hard younglings! she waved as they made their way back to class and realized...she was smiling...her step was lighter as she made her way to her chambers ..along the way laughing to herself at all their tales..

When she reached the door..she felt a strange sensation...the hair on the back of her neck prickled...as the door opened she took a moment to look around before entering...shaking her head when all looked in place she sat wearily on the bed for just a moment and looked around...still that odd sensation kept coming back....suddenly there was a knock on the door .. Come in A young Ranger she had taught stepped into the room with a smile... Master Stone...the Grandmaster was looking for you... she breathed a sigh of relief... he was waiting in your room for your return...but I guess he's already left...if he comes back...he is wanted in the Council Chambers...will you tell him for me? Elyria nodded as the young man went on his way..
Ka'all was here?..but why...why wouldn't he...the strange feeling began creeping in again...she suddenly got up and got on her knees in front of her nightstand...removing the barriers she had placed she opened the secret compartment and was relieved to see the holocron still safely in place...Elyria...what were you thinking? she got up and made her way to her closet...when she opened the door, it was obvious someone had been rifling through her garments...she moved to the drawers...a sad attempt was made to neaten things...but it was clear..someone..had been going through her things..setting her jaw..she went back to the nightstand & grabbed the holocron...sitting on the bed...she twisted her heel and placed it gently in the hidden compartment there..she scooped up the key to the Mandalorian Temple too - closed the drawer and put the barriers back up in case anyone else came back..she wanted to leave no clue to the suspect that she had found them out...

she quickly packed her bag for the next trip....making sure to bring her concealable weapons...her face set in worry...she finished up and started making her way to the Space pad

Stav Kesh - Docking bay

Kad glided his Bes'uliik into the docking bay. It was good to be back on Tython. After he settled his fighter down he popped the hatch and hopped down using the Force to land softly on the ground and he unloaded his bag which now contained a heavy set of armor. He made his way up to his chambers where he had a spare comlink. He lost his prior one during the disastrous battle against the Sith fleet.

He keyed in Master Stone's comm and sent her a message,
"It's Master Jusik, I wish to apologize for my absence. After the battle I was separated from the rest of the fleet and had to take a round about way back I would have sent word sooner but I hadn't had time to secure the comm in the Bes'uliik yet. What have I missed in my absence?"

Master Temron watched the younger masters leave and sighed to himself. Master Taithu had already left, making her preparations to join them. Turning to Masters Arist and Maxel he waved his hand indicating that he wished to speak to the prisoner alone. Waiting as they made their exits he wove a ward of silence over the hall, dampening their voices to any who would be outside. Master Kivi was still there of course but she was part of this. Raising his hand he let Logan up from the floor.
"And what was that supposed to be? When you contacted us regarding information we may deem useful we did not allow you to this planet so that you could threaten to blow up one of our own! As it is Master Kivi and myself are the only two who knew you were even coming at all. Information or not, if you pull a stunt like that again I will lock you in a force dampening cell and you won't be leaving. Am I clear?"
Turning to Master Kivi he nodded.
"As he contacted you first I believe you should be the one to question him, if that's alrght with you."

He keyed in Master Stone's comm and sent her a message,
"It's Master Jusik, I wish to apologize for my absence. After the battle I was separated from the rest of the fleet and had to take a round about way back I would have sent word sooner but I hadn't had time to secure the comm in the Bes'uliik yet. What have I missed in my absence?"

Elyria felt her comm vibrating in her pocket Sithspit..are they ready to take off so soon.. she reached in her pocket..oblivious to the warm sun shining off her copper hair or the cool breeze blowing around her...after her outburst, she wasn't quite ready to face Corvin...or Mizu....

when she heard his voice, she broke into a wide grin..she keyed in his code Kad...Kad..it's wonderful to hear your voice...when there was no word...I feared...the worst...where are you?..okay...I'll be right there... her step quickened as she made her way to his quarters in Stav Kesh...she knocked on the door but didn't wait for his response as she barrelled in, dropped her bag and threw her arms around her friend, she hugged him close for just an instant before releasing him It's so good to see you alive...we lost so many in Voss..but where..how..are you sure you're okay?

Stav Kesh - Docking Bay

As she hurried down the corridors of the docking bay the Nautolan caught Master Stone heading off in a completely different direction Sighing with disapproval at the easily distracted young master, Taithu followed her silently into the quarters, but as soon as Elyria broke her embrace with Kad she stepped behind her, placing her hands on her shoulders.
"Master Stone..." she said. "I want to know about what happened just as much as you do, but we have a job to do, remember?" she said evenly, though she had a stern expression on her face. "We must head to the docking bay. The medical team is waiting for you, and so is our wounded Master, a dying girl, and an impatient pirate. I do not believe it is wise to keep any of them waiting..."
With that being said, she turned to look at Master Jusik.
"It is good to see you alive, Master Jusik, though I know you return with a great sadness. Are you injured? I was about to head out with Master Stone, but perhaps one of us should take you to Mahara Kesh instead."

Hugging his friend tight, he slowly let her go. "Well after the battle I got separated from the fleet. I eventually made it back to Mandalore. I recieved word that my ba'buir had passed on. We don't have much family around so I inherited his armor. I had lost my comlink during the battle at Voss and the Bes'uliik's hasn't been secured yet or I would have sent word sooner."

He walked over to his bag and pulled out the breastplate of his grandfather's armor painted now in a blue-gray "What do you think?"

Turning to face the other Je'daii, and setting down the beskar plate, "No, No, I'm fine. I was not injured during my travels back. Also I'm sorry for the distraction Master Stone had yet to inform me of your impending departure. Allow me to escort you both to the Docking bay. it will give us time to catch up on the walk."

Oh Kad...I'm so sorry - I know he meant the world to you... she placed her hand gently on his shoulder...

He walked over to his bag and pulled out the breastplate of his grandfather's armor painted now in a blue-gray "What do you think?"

she reached out to touch it...her fingers tracing the intricate designs imbedded with in... It's beautiful.. she smiled

Taithu followed her silently into the quarters, she stepped behind her, placing her hands on her shoulders.
"Master Stone..." she said. "I want to know about what happened just as much as you do, but we have a job to do, remember?" she said evenly, though she had a stern expression on her face. "We must head to the docking bay. The medical team is waiting for you, and so is our wounded Master, a dying girl, and an impatient pirate. I do not believe it is wise to keep any of them waiting..."

Elyria turned nodding her head I'm sorry Master Taithu...I did not realize we were ready to depart so soon...

Elyria turned to Kad giving him a look that screamed - I NEED to talk to you..she placed her hand on his arm..and smiled....That would be lovely! she knew she shouldn't take the risk in the presence of a Master of the Council...one so strong in the Force..but she had to take the chance...focusing her mind solely on Kad..and hoping against hope that Master Taithu did not notice "There is a matter of great import...something that threatens the very existence..the very lives of all on Tython...there are few I can trust with my suspicions...I must get you alone before I take off" I guess we should hurry then...c'mon..

"As he contacted you first I believe you should be the one to question him, if that's alright with you."

Kivi was stroking her chin...watching the young man carefully...turning in her seat, she addressed him Well...speak up now..the others have left..you were the one to contact us..if you have something to say...the time is now...I have to agree with Master Temron...your antics did not put you in a favorable light...do you have reports on Voss...on Terva...what is it?

He responded to Elyria's mental message with a glance that said he understood and gestured to the door. "well lets get you on our way. I never intended to keep you from your duties"
Walking betwen his fellow Masters he ran his hand through his hair which was still out of place from wearing a helmet on the trip back.

"So what have I missed while i was away? My absence wasn't too much trouble was it?"

While walking down the hall Kad was considering how to possibly get Master Stone alone before they left. Hopefully an opportunity would arrive before the got to the ships.

Ryo stood up slowly and shook himself. The master's attack had caught him off guard. But then he'd asked for it really.
Well...speak up now..the others have left..you were the one to contact us..if you have something to say...the time is now...I have to agree with Master Temron...your antics did not put you in a favorable light...do you have reports on Voss...on Terva...what is it?

He stared at the je'daii, taking them both in. He had indeed contacted them both, though he'd not known exactly who they were at the time.
"As you know, during the battle for Voss, Emperor Rahl's flagship, The Corruo, was heavily damaged by your vessels. Whilst you ultimately lost, he was forced to retreat until it was repaired. I have the co-ordinates to the shipyards he is currently berthed at, as well as schematics to get inside. If you were to send some trained je'daii there you could destroy the shipyards and cripple Rahl's ability to repair ships in the region. It would be a great first step at reclaiming Voss as our own."

Kaede sighed and released the lifeless Gamorean from her force hold, dropping him to the floor beside the three of his fellow guards stupid enough to attack her. Glaring at the putrid mass of flesh in front of her she smiled wickedly.
"Would you care to send any more fools to their deaths, Hutt? Or shall we begin again?"
The hutt's eyes flared wildly and he spoke in a rushed tone to his translator. The droid in question turned back to Kaede.
"Oh magnificent Grondo wishes to apologize for the inconvenience that his guards caused young master. Gamoreans are not the smartest life-forms. He wishes to know what brings the sith to his home."
Kaede knew well that the hutt had ordered the attack on her but said nothing. She needed her information first and foremost. Reaching into a pocket she pulled out a screen and flicked it on. A recording of a male Zeltron played in a loop. She'd taken the footage from cameras overseeing the destroyed bar and matched it with eyewitness descriptions.
"This man. Where can I find him?"
Grondo spoke again and the droid took the words in before translating for her.
"Oh magnificent Grondo regrets that he cannot..."
Kaede cut the droid off by snapping her lightsaber on. She held it pointed at the ground and turned back to the pile of slime.
"I'm sorry, it must have turned on all by itself. You were saying?"

and burn them to ashes!

Taithu arched an eyebrow. She did not pry into the telepathic conversation taking place, though she understood that something was going on. Master Stone wore her emotions on her sleeve; it was easy to read that she was troubled by something... or someone. And it had to be someone close, else she would have spoke to the council. She had her own suspicions, but she would leave it alone until they finished their task.
At Kad's question she couldn't help but laugh. She turned to speak with him as she started walking briskly towards the docking bay. "It's quite a long story, so I'll spare you the details... apparently Master Terva waltzed in somewhere he didn't belong, got himself captured by a pirate and a Sith girl who may or may not be on our side... who also happens to be dying of an unnamed illness. It's a bit of a complicated situation. We're heading over there now to take them to Tython."

If you were to send some trained je'daii there you could destroy the shipyards and cripple Rahl's ability to repair ships in the region. It would be a great first step at reclaiming Voss as our own."

Kivi looked over at Temron and nodded her eyes holding a secret knowing look.. We are aware the Emperor is at the Kuat shipyards smirking... The Je'daii are not as ignorant as recent actions may lead you to believe...the schematics..now they may prove useful...our best spies have not been able to access those with security as tight as it is on Kuat at the moment...but how do you suppose we accomplish this...at the moment we are still receiving evacuees from Voss, the wounded are still poring in..and now we're sending off two of Masters to retrieve another...we have few strong enough in the Force we can spare..it's a suicide mission! Kivi stood impatiently..her ire beginning to rise What was the Grandmaster thinking? Leading our fleet...our best and brightest...and to one of our strongest outposts and delivering us right into Rahl's hands....yes a long sojourn to Mahara Kesh is definitely in order for that one... realizing she had spoken aloud..she hesitated... no disrespect intended... she looked over at Temron... you haven't said much...what are your thoughts?....

Sithspit! Elyria knew she would have no chance to talk to Kad before their departure...biting her lower lip...there had to be a way...she had to take the risk.....

clearing her throat... ...um...Kad...I...I...know you must have a lot to do...besides..your debriefing and all....but..uh...... she looked up..to see Corvin standing next to the Wren...the clear bright sun glinted off his golden hair...the gentle breeze ruffling it...giving him an almost angelic appearance....her breath caught in her throat for just a moment...shaking her head...looking over to Master Jusik... if you could...um...keep an eye on the Grandmaster... clearing her throat again as she looked steadily into his eyes...hoping against hope that he would pick up on what she was trying to convey.... you know...Ka'all is like a father to me...we..we..never made it to Coruscant to rescue him...he somehow made it on this said Pirate's ship...and..as you know...immediately called us to Voss...he...uh...never really had a chance to recover..I..uh...well..he hasn't quite seemed...himself..could you...please..please keep a close eye on him til my return?... she squeezed his arm gently...hoping he would understand the implications...and their importance.....it..would mean so much to me... looking over at Counsellor Taithu with a smile... to all of us!
