Feverw0lf 1. The game is so freakin' complicated it makes newbies cry. I personally know of two people that I introduced to this RP after I joined that said "thanks, but no thanks" because they couldn't understand what was going on. The only reason I figured anything out was because I called Ron twice to get him to explain things to me verbally. I'm a little curious as to what makes Axiom's current system so complicated, but if it's really an Issue I could try and right up a guide for character creation and what not if it's really that troublesome?

OK where do I begin. 1. Character creation: you need a list of what bloodlines can be what class, for example I never would have guessed that a Kiranu couldn't be a gunslinger. 2. Profile creation: I have no idea how to calculate the energy meter or the speed or the strength. I have no idea where to look for that information. I called Ron and asked him to edit my profile for me so that it was correct. He had to do all the calculations for me. 3. Starting in the Guild: It took me hours to figure out exactly where I was supposed to post first. I had to text message Ron to ask him WTF I was doing and where I was going. 4. Leveling up: I can't even begin to understand your leveling up system and I don't understand at all how you gain skills. Do you do just run around like a chicken with your head cut off? Do you go kill things for hours on end like WoW? I dunno what I'm doing. 5. What's going on?: There seems to be some sort of major plotlineish thingy going on about these sin thingies that I cannot get involved, don't care to get involved, and don't understand with. And even if I wanted to get involved there's no where to even get a good summary of the storyline so far. 6. You need a simple step by step guide: this guide has to tell people how to get started, how to set up a profile and how to actually start playing and then you need another guide to explain combat, skill learning and leveling up. Like a tutorial in a video game.

I can have a NRP teacher to help you with your rank up. >.> I am a bard. But don't let that fool you, he is quite capable of combat being an anima and all. Okay uhmm.... <.< >.> Where are you? Like a tutorial in a video game. 1) List of Bloodlines are found in the Art of War. Bloodlines will tell you if they're limited in any way, and because Kiranu can wield a single type of range weapon, they can technically be a gunslinger, but would be limited to one type of gun. 2)Both Energy and Stats are listed in the Art of War as well, with thread names depicting what you should be looking at. 3) It's generally advised to start at the academy because that is the most likely location of a captain, otherwise you may start where ever you please. 4)Skills are learned through training, which again is explained in the Art of War sub-forum, there's a very distinct reason why it says "READ THIS FIRST" as it holds most of the information on the guild's system. Ranking up is a slightly different story, you have to request it from your Captain/Leader or someone of that title in the case your character is a true Rogue. 5)The Sins are more like a side-story then anything, the objective is to kill or obtain all seven sins based of the deadly seven sins, so that character may obtain the ability to get their wish, whatever that may be (though it'l most likely have to be approved by the Captain of the guild) 6) I am starting to work on something like that, with character creation being the first thing.

Fever, I admire you, your literate ability, and your ability to see and explain things with such ease, and to point them out plainly to others. I fear, however, that such changes are unlikely to come about as long as Fenrir remains in a position of power.
I ran into a similar issue many months ago as the VC of this guild, trying to pound out the ugliness of some issues, and the over-powered aspects, such as Fenrir's talent. However, he is a stubborn man, even more than a mule, and will not budge.
Also, I'm going to work on a system that I hope will replace the current one.

I know I have an incredibly short attention span and I started to lose interest before I really got started. The two people I showed the guild to said the same thing and weren't even willing to listen to someone explain how the guild works to them. A step by step guide to get a player started would be incredibly helpful. :3

Thing is Squimay you have to bounce back and forth over and over to work aanything out. And when you make your character's energy and such you have to modify it based on race, and class.
And it's true, the thing is a bit hard to understand.
Also, no, Kiranu can't be gunslingers. They can't stand loud noises going off near their ears, so gunfire isn't an option. They can use guns later on after they learn a skill to protect their ears though.
Anyway: Go look in teh debate thread.

However, I think I may be able to make the most controversial point of all and I hope you all will not think less of me: If Fenrir's captaining ability is brought this much into question, if you do not find faith in him as a leader then perhaps it is time for new leadership.

To put it simply, the art of war is flawed because there is a different thread for everything and the profile skeleton doesn't tell you where to find any info.
A simple getting started thread that said
1. Find profile here (link) 2. Bloodlines are here (link) 3. Classes are here (link) 4. Class skills are here (link)
etc. would be great. Then if said thread had multiple posts to paraphrase each actual thread then new people wouldn't have to jump around like a cat on a hot tin roof to figure out what their profile should look like.

Then alas my friends we are trapped under a dictatorship and the only ways I can think to change that would effect the sensibilities of most. I am too junior to suggest them in a public setting. And I fear for my character Sairaith. I crafted her for this guild, but she may perhaps die here.

@Fever: You may, it was a past name of mine, and Ron seems to like it better than Des.
Anyway, I try not to be bluntly insulting with my speech unless I am thoroughly angered. On the topic of escaping the trap, I fear there is no possible way to do so. Months ago when I had relinquished my position, and deserted the guild due to dissatisfaction for Fenrir's leadership, a new guild was created mirroring this one, except the band that I was with had hoped it to be better. It was for naught, however, as our leader, a man you see in the crew (The Urban Superstition) abandoned us, and returned here. I view him in much the same likeness as Fenrir, as he operates in the same way, under a different guise.
Without proper support, nothing can be done. As I have observed, not many in this guild have enough will, or motivation to do anything.
