☾ ⋆*・゚:⋆*・゚ Andromeda was still a bit worried about being at school. Sure, her mother dearest had gone here, but ever since she was born, Andie hadn't ever spent time away from home. She didn't go to muggle school, instead being taught at home. It was a fun childhood, but now it left her with quite a bit of anxiety about being away. What if her mum missed her? And what if she missed home? But as she rode on the train, Andie tried to make friends, though she worried she was too nervous around them. She never really had experience talking to people in her own age bracket, and she wasn't really sure what other eleven-year-olds were supposed to talk about. Thankfully she brought her well worn book of star charts to read on the journey.
Once they'd made it to the busy platform, Andie wished they'd had a quieter place to land. Her senses were in overdrive, partially thanks to the nearly full moon in the sky. Her deep blue eyes twinkled in the starlight as she subtly put in a blood lollie. Her mum had made sure to pack about a zillion of them for the semester. Then the first years were called to the lake, where she climbed on a boat with a few others. She spent the ride looking up at the stars overhead. She almost didn't notice when they'd docked until the others politely asked her to climb ashore.
She followed the rest of the group, a pleasant smile on her face. Of course, as she'd practiced, the smile was with closed lips. Her mum quite worried about people getting worried over her being a half-vampire, especially because there was recently a mess about half-vampires being hurt all over Europe. Thankfully, mum said the man causing problems had been caught! Walking into the Great Hall, she looked around, before noticing the ceiling. Somehow, she could see the heavens above! It was that that captured her attention until she'd heard her name being called out.
Walking up to the front, Andromeda looked at the professor for a moment, then she sat on the little stool there. The hat sat over her head, pushing her glasses down her nose a bit. She gasped softly when the hat seemed to speak to her. Maybe she should talk back? 'Hello, Mister Hat. Mum said I should ask you to put me somewhere I can see the stars. I would really love to be up high.' She bit her lip, letting her eyes closed as she waited to find out how the Hat would favor her request. ⋆*・゚:⋆*・゚ ☽

xxxxx⇾Wʜɪᴍsɪᴄᴀʟ Andie is rooted in whimsy and daydreams. She often has her head in the clouds and she prefers it that way. It also translates into a rather eclectic fashion sense. Her personality seems less than serious, even when she is trying to be rather clear.
xxxxx⇾Fʀɪᴇɴᴅʟʏ Andromeda loves meeting new people. It’s all part of learning more about the world, and perhaps a bit more special because she grew up rather sheltered and kept safe from the outside world.
xxxxx⇾Dᴇᴄᴇᴘᴛɪᴠᴇʟʏ Iɴᴛᴇʟʟɪɢᴇɴᴛ Despite her dreamy, whimsical appearance, Andromeda is incredibly smart. She spent much of her childhood reading and learning about whatever subjects she could find. She doesn’t have a lot of “street smarts”, but her book smarts are far higher than average.
xxxxx⇾Gʀᴀᴄᴇғᴜʟ Andie never really has been a clumsy person. Even when she’s halfway in a daydream, her feet seem to guide her true. She very seldom trips, even when she isn’t really paying much attention.
xxxxx⇾Tʀᴜsᴛɪɴɢ Everyone is a friend, and no one is an enemy. Andromeda quite loves everyone, and has trouble discerning good people from bad. She thinks everyone has a heart of gold and only the best of intentions.
xxxxx⇾Mᴜsɪᴄᴀʟ Andromeda spent many nights playing music in the darkened sunroom at home. Her mother taught her to play, and she’s spent time dedicated to it ever since.

Leo was incredibly excited. Not only had they moved countries, they also got to switch to Hogwarts. It sounded way cooler than Durmstrang. Anne really, really hated it there. Besides, Hogwarts was a freaking castle! Not to mention, it'd be a fresh start here for all of them. He wouldn't be going in as "Anne and Matt's little brother", he'd be Leo, the cool kid. Also he'd be Nicko's twin, but he was probably going to be that forever. But that morning, they'd gotten dressed in their new uniforms, went to a train station, then.... rode a train to school. It was a little less cool than he'd hoped, but hey.
Of course, the school tried to make it cooler by having them all ride boats across a huge, empty lake. Nicko panicked, but Leo clutched his twin tight, distracting him with a wild, high-fantasy story about what he was seeing. Nicko had his eyes closed and he kept himself tucked close. Thankfully, the ride wasn't too long and the twins were able to clamber out of the boat and onto shore. They walked in perfect step together to the school, looking around the grounds and the castle. Finally, they were led to the huge dining area, where they had to await their turn. Thankfully, it was based on last name, so they'd be able to go together... with him being first!
'Hey there, hat! I'd really like to be with my twin, since we've been together forever. Also somewhere cool to explore would be nice! We love doing that stuff!'

xxxxx⇾Mɪsᴄʜɪᴇᴠᴏᴜs Leo has always been one who is excited to cause shenanigans. He loves setting up elaborate pranks and trying to make sure everyone has a fun time. After all, what’s the point of fun if only a few people are having any?
xxxxx⇾Sᴀssʏ Leo is always ready with a sassy quip or smart-alec retort. He employs sarcasm like a second language and is always ready to verbally spar. He’s gotten really good at tailoring his sass to specific situations over the years as well.
xxxxx⇾Aᴛʜʟᴇᴛɪᴄ Leo struggles to sit still. He’s always got a ton of extra energy and usually needs outlets to run it off... including running it off. He loves team sports where he can coordinate with others or playing solo where he can feel like the star. Either option works well for him!
xxxxx⇾Cᴏɴғɪᴅᴇɴᴛ Whenever things get rough, Leo’s sure-footed confidence will lead him through. He never lets his fears get him down, and he will always fight to the bitter end.
xxxxx⇾Cʀᴇᴀᴛɪᴠᴇ Even though Leo’s usual method of expressing creativity involves pranks and jokes, he has some really unique ways of showcasing his creativity. He’s also secretly good at drawing, though he usually won’t tell anyone about that part.
xxxxx⇾Sᴄᴀᴛᴛᴇʀʙʀᴀɪɴᴇᴅ Despite being pretty intelligent, it’s not hard to make Leo lose track of tasks. He often walks into rooms and forgets why he went there, or even forgets times and dates. Thankfully, his twin boasts a far better memory.

Nicko was both excited and a little disappointed today. While he was interested in Hogwarts School, he was less happy that the whole family had been uprooted. Besides, he had planned his entire life around an education at Durmstrang. He'd read all of Anne's old textbooks and tried to make sure he was well prepared. But now they were in the UK, away from the home they'd grown up in. The only positive was that they weren't alone. Anne and Matt were still both in school, so he'd have several people to turn to.
The morning of their first day, Nicko was working on finishing up notes out of his Defensive magics textbook, still trying to write while eating breakfast. But the book and notes were packed away as the family went to a busy train platform. Hogwarts certainly had some odd customs, though he also figured that they might think Durmstrang's customs were strange. He spent the train ride mostly discussing adventure plans with his twin and siblings, even though he was itching to study more from the textbooks. After they landed at the platform, the twins were forced to break away from the older siblings, since they had to take carriages. But the first years.... had to take a boat.
Nicko was clung tightly with his twin, trying to keep himself calm as they moved over the water. They should really pick a less horrible way to travel! Thankfully, it wasn't a terribly long trip. Once on the other side, the group walked into the castle proper. The boys whispered quietly about interesting things to notice, before they made it into the Great Hall. The Deputy Headmistress spoke about the school and the sorting, before beginning to call them all up. As they waited patiently through the alphabet, Leo mentioned wanting to be in the same house. Surely he would tell the Sorting Hat the very same thing when he made it to the front. But then, Nicko was called up to the front. He glanced over at his older siblings, then over toward his twin before the hat sank over his eyes.
'I'm sure that Leo just asked you to put us in the same house... but I must offer my request as well. I want to be somewhere that I can shine as Nicko, not as Leo's twin. I want somewhere that I can make certain to stand on my own feet and prove to everyone that I'm not just here to clean up my twin's messes.'
xxx𝓟𝒆𝓻𝓼𝓸𝓷𝓪𝓵𝓲𝓽𝔂xxx
xxxxx⇾Lᴏɢɪᴄᴀʟ Nicko has always been the “brains” of the twins. He always thinks things out and plans for every eventuality. His logical thinking is often deferred to helping his twin plan out pranks with the least number of injuries... or detentions.
xxxxx⇾Aᴍʙɪᴛɪᴏᴜs Nicko wants to be better than the best. He has his whole life planned out and has every intention to exceed every step. He will do everything required to boost himself to the top, even if it means late nights and early mornings.
xxxxx⇾Sᴛᴜᴅɪᴏᴜs Nicko really loves learning through reading and writing, more so than through exploring his surroundings. He tends to learn through books far easier than hands-on, but perhaps it’s more to do with his love of reading.
xxxxx⇾Hʏᴘᴇʀ-Fᴏᴄᴜsᴇᴅ Once Nicko is working on something, it is really difficult to get him off topic. He usually hones out any distractions, working tirelessly until the task is done. The downside is that if he is distracted, it takes a lot to get him back on the task.
xxxxx⇾Rᴇʟᴀxᴇᴅ Unlike his twin, Nicko prefers to chill. While his brother is wild and easily excitable, Nicko would much rather read or do puzzles quietly in the house. Sure, he likes wandering and adventuring, but even then, he’ll go at a slow pace and look at everything nature can offer.
xxxxx⇾Uɴᴅᴇʀsᴛᴀɴᴅɪɴɢ Even when people worry about trouble, Nicko is quick to accept flaws and try to help people. He will always opt for cooperation and compromise, rather than trying to be right. He figures there’s much more to being kind than to being the winner.
The Professor set the hat down carefully on the student's head. For a moment the hat was silent before speaking.... You will find growth alone, I promise that. It's a worthy life goal to want success, And possessing a sharp intellect, You'll find the best options in... SLYTHERIN!

Lylah was fairly certain her hands had never been so sweaty in her life. Yet her throat was all dry. Lylah wasn't usually the kind to get caught up in nerves, but since they had started their journey to London, then to Scotland, that morning, her stomach had been twisted up in knots. She was admittedly glad sorting would be happening soon because that hopefully meant she could go to bed soon. It had been a long day, and she was ready to sleep. She did have to admit, the castle was amazing. Since the moment she laid eyes on it, sitting above the dark lake, she was in awe. It was crazy to think that she'd be going to school here for the next seven years. Hogwarts was quite prestigious as well, so there was that.
Lylah flexed her hand several times as she and the rest of the first years made their way into the school and through the halls. The group came to the antechamber, where Professor Clarke took a moment to more fully explain the houses and what would be happening in the Great Hall. They then moved into the Great Hall. Lylah couldn't help but let out a little gasp as she saw the room in front of her. Candles twinkled above them in what looked like the night sky. This was really happening. She was here. In just a few moments, Professor Clarke began calling names and having people come up to the little stool to be sorted. As Lylah waited, she scanned the crowds of students, picking out the few faces she recognized, and then, she heard her name. She jumped ever so slightly at the sound, but quickly came to her senses and moved up to the stool.
Lylah sat down and snapped her eyes shut as the hat came down on her head. It was certainly fascinating getting to wear a mind-reading sentient hat. This was more than a little different than Salem. "Uh, go for it," she thought, not exactly sure what she was supposed to tell a hat.
CURIOUSLylah wants to know everything about how the world works. She's consistently trying to learn new things and loves to go down rabbit-holes of new information. She can never know enough and isn't afraid to ask any question that comes to her mind. FRIENDLYLylah tries her best to be inclusive to everyone she comes across. She wants everyone to feel comfortable when they are around her. She's empathetic and tries her best to relate to others and is a great listener. She can always be counted on. ORIGINALLylah isn't afraid to be who she is. She tends to think out of the box and come up with her own ideas. She's open to new experiences and just being herself. PERCEPTIVELylah tends to notice things other people don't. She's very aware of the world around her and tends to notice small details about other people. If someone tells her something about themselves, she'll remember it. She can usually read people pretty well and is especially aware of others' body language. PERFECTIONISTLylah hates messing up. She holds herself to a specific standard and tends to get annoyed when she doesn't meet that. She's pretty good at hiding it, but it can lead to too much stress sometimes. IMAGINATIVELylah is often lost in thoughts, creating new worlds and scenarios. She's been told she "has her head in the clouds," but that doesn't bother her. A person can't improve the world or themselves if they aren't thinking of new ways to do it. Nothing is ever solved with stagnation.

Newt seemed way too happy for what they were all doing. He practically skipped where they were going and even dipped his hand in the water as they were in the boats. They waited a bit before entering the great hall. He liked the cool ceiling. He was brought back to reality when someone bumped into him. He was very forgiving; it was easy to get lost in the excitement. As he waited he swayed side to side and once they got to the Vs and his name he skipped and sat on the stool slightly bouncing as he sat wondering which would his house
SILLY Newt likes doing weird stuff to get people to smile. Weird or eccentric clothes, Jokes really anything to bring joy SMART He learns very quickly. School was never too difficult. He enjoyed learning new things. FOOLHARDY Newt is one to do things his own way, he may realize something is a bad idea but that won't necessarily stop him. Sure magic was explained but it still was all so much and overwhelming. Though it became exciting once they actually got to the castle! They were still too nervous to chat with classmates but there would be time for that. Once they entered the great hall they were mesmerized by the sky ceiling and floating candles. They didn't watch where they were going and bumped the kid in front of them. After apologizing the kid was very forgiving. They had a bit to wait as they were going alphabetically last name. The kid in front also had a late alphabet name. When it was their turn they walked up to the stool and sat. Thankful they had opted for pants cause they didn't want to show their undies. “Hopefully I will get put somewhere without too many idiots….” Lynx thought to themselves.
SHORT TEMPERED Lynx will go 0 to 100 in seconds flat if something bothers them enough. They are not one to stand down even when it's the smart thing to do. They listen to No often unless the punishment isn't worth it EMPATHETIC Lynx is attuned to other emotions and will try to make someone who's sad happy again. In the spring, we made a boat Out of feathers, out of bones We set fire to our homes Walking barefoot in the snow Distant rhythm of the drum As we drifted towards the storm
☸ڿڰۣ Jonah had to admit, the castle visuals-interior and exterior-was pretty much worth the ridiculously long train ride just getting to it. He didn't count the boat ride since that had honestly been a bit fun; he'd even gotten to hold the lantern! Afned all the unfamiliar faces looking for his brother and found him at a far right table wearing his Slytherin robes. He brought his eyes back forward to avoid accidentally making eye contact, not wanting to deal with whatever may come from that. After their parents had dropped them off at the platform, Rian had informed him that he had two options: he could sit with him and his friends but he wouldn't be able to make a sound or he could find his own carriage and not look for him the entire ride. He had wisely chosen the second option and wondered briefly if this counted as looking for him. He truly didn't want to know.
Luckily for him, his name was rather early in the alphabet so all too soon, Jonah was called to the stool for his sorting. He gave the professor a nervous smile before he hopped onto the stool and was only given a brief moment to fix his skewed glasses before he was plunged into darkness as a hat was placed onto his head. "Uhm...hi? I know you're probably very busy so I'll be happy wherever you think-or say?-I should go." he mentally said to the apparently cognizant hat.

◊ FORGIVINGJonah has never truly understood holding a grudge or staying angry or upset with a person or people after a certain amount of time. It just took way too much energy rather than just forgiving the person and moving on. ◊ RELATIONALJonah could be described as a "people person," always doing and acting his best around other people. He enjoys collaborating with others on any given thing and is grateful for others to bounce his numerous ideas off of. ◊ FARSIGHTEDThe fut ure always comes is a principle he lives by so he tries to prepare for it best he can. He hates being being caught off guard, especially by something simple he could've fixed beforehand, and can occasionally overprepare to the stress of himself and others. ◊ OBEDIENTJonah has been raised to follow any order or object with limited or no question or complaint and for the most part, does so without even thinking. He's learned that sometimes it can be a matter of safety and privacy and other times, just a means to finish a difficult task (or be done with a difficult person). ◊ COMPLACENTIt's not hard for him to admit that he's gotten pretty comfortable with his place in life and he recognizes the privileges that his family has afforded him. He doesn't see a point in rocking the boat unless it was completely necessary and unavoidable. ◊ ALLOCENTRICJonah doesn't really mean to do it, but he will sometimes omit certain things or explanations with certain people if he thinks it will make them more comfortable. Not so much a chameleon; he doesn't change who he is or how he presents himself, he just chooses what parts of himself he thinks would work at that time.

★And, round about his home, the glory★ ★That blushed and bloomed★
╔══════════════╗ Evelyn Usher
★★ of ★★
The House Usher ╚══════════════╝
★Is but a dim-remembered story★ ★Of the old time entombed.★
Evelyn Usher was walking into the great hall with her brother, hand in hand. The twins had been inseparable for most of their lives, and she hoped that today wouldn't change a single thing. As East led her through the hall, Evelyn's eyes wandered up to the ceiling. She had been told by a few patrons at the bar what to expect when she walked into Hogwarts, but the girl didn't expect anything like this. Four rows of color-coordinated students sat while the teacher and the Sorting Hat sat up front.
East had been the first called, as not only was he the elder of the twins, but also the first one alphabetically. He had squeezed her hand when he left, and she had all of her fingers and toes crossed that they would be sorted into the same house. She didn't care where they ended up, even if the house didn't suit her at all. All she wanted was to play Quidditch for the next seven years with her brother. Evelyn wanted to be the team's beaters, using their twin powers to control the abusive bludgers in the sky.
She barely heard the name of the house her twin was called into before her own name was called. She glanced at him as he headed for his table before she settled down in the chair at the front. The Hat was placed on her head, and she let out a deep sigh. "I don't care where you put me, but please, I just want to win the house cup with my brother at my side. We will be the best beaters this school has ever seen. I swear, just put me on the same team with him, and we will show everyone exactly what we can do."
Ambitious: I always want to be the best at everything I do. The only person I will ever allow to beat me is my twin. I will always cheer E on in everything he does. Fearless: I am the twin that will never say no to a dare, even if it is to my detriment. Tired: I suffer from chronic Narcolepsy. So, before tests I have to take naps so I can stay awake, same with Quidditch practice or days. Chronic Passenger Princess: While it doesn't happen often, I have fallen asleep riding my broom for long periods of time. It is why I now take naps before exerting myself for long periods of time Forgetful: This is a narcolepsy symptom and my older brother often helps me remember deadlines, dates, and club events. Fighter: Have and will throw hands when provoked. Not due to anger issues, but because I have found that punching magic-born wizards in the face is more pesonal than cursing them.
Easton was always the nervous one of the two twins. While Evelyn was strong and brave, he normally shrank back from his classmates and preferred chess to dueling. That must have been the reason why when Addy had squeezed him while at platform 9&3/4, she had whispered for him to be brave. At the same time, she told his sister to take care of them both. Evelyn was also the one who got a scolding from the cousin, who was more like an older sister to both of them.
East knew they were in for an adventure of a lifetime, and the skills he had learned at Magiscouts would come in handy. However, that didn't mean he wasn't gripping Evelyn's hand in worry that they wouldn't end up in the same house. However, it was his duty as the older and much wiser brother to follow the lead of his classmates and lead Evelyn through the great hall.
His name was called first, and for that he was glad. This meant that it would be his sister's fault if they didn't end up in the same house. Not that he would ever tell Evelyn that. However, as he sat on the stool in front of everyone and the hat was lowered onto his head, he took a deep breath. "I want to win the House Cup with my sister by my side. I want to smile and know that we did everything we could. I will take over my father's bar, so that means I want to accomplish everything I can before he retires. Please, let us be in the same house."
Salem Institute, his father's school, didn't have the sorting hat like Hogwarts did. So, he hoped that the hat would listen to him, like the patrons at the bar had said. He was going to take charge of his destiny, if only for a moment, and ask for exactly what he wanted: to play Quidditch with his twin.
Kind. Will always lend a helping hand to those in need. Is the first to share toys, snacks, or even just be a hand to hold. Apologetic. Very sweet and always asking for permission to do things, and is the responsible twin. While he is more reserved than his sister, he does stick up for others in the face of injustice.

Auron Lovette ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Unsorted ✥ First Year Pureblood ✥ Eleven Year Old
✥ Location : Great Hall ~ Sorting (2066) ✥ Company : First Years... Sorting Hat
Today was the big day, Auron was finally going to Hogwarts with his sisters. Part of him had butterflies about the idea of going. What if he wasn’t Ravenclaw material? Looking at him, clearly it was written all over his face because Luna was the first to bring it up. “What’s wrong Auron?” She asked him, only for him to shake his head. “Nothing, Luna. I’m fine.” He replied glancing out the window. Despite the attempt, Luna didn’t believe him but didn’t push him on it either.
Arriving at Hogsmeade, Luna wished him luck and reminded him that everything would go smoothly. If only she knew what that meant. Auron headed to the docks with the others where he took the trip across the lake. It was a sight to see, Hogwarts across the lake, windows glowing with an inviting warmth. Already, the castle felt like home. Even if it wasn’t yet. With a deep breath he was escorted to the great hall.
After the run down, the first years were walked in the great hall where the whole school was present. Things were very real now, Auron’s mind began to race. His eyes falling on his sisters at the Ravenclaw table. What if… No, he couldn’t think like this right now. He was going to end up in Ravenclaw. That’s all there was to it.
When his name was called Auron, walked up and took a seat. All eyes were on him, but he tried to stay focused on the important part. He may not be the smartest or the most artistic in his family, but he needed to be in Ravenclaw.‘Let me be in Ravenclaw… please…’

■ DETERMINEDAuron has always had a driving determination to try new things. Whether good or bad, the effort is always there to try. He doesn’t let things stop him. In fact, when things seem hard, he just puts more into it. Nothing seems to tough for him. ■ RESERVEDThough, when things are tough, he won’t be one to show it. Auron keeps his worries more or less to himself. When something is bothering him it’s not in the norm for him to share. It takes time to get him to share what’s really on his mind. ■ STUBBORNAuron can be at times overly determined to the point of being downright stubborn. When he gets something stuck in his head, it’s hard to get him to change. Regardless of what anyone says. It can be a determent to his own good. ■ QUICK WITTEDLike many in his family, Auron has his moments to show off his smarts. Though not as smart as the rest of his family, he can be rather quick with his words. It doesn’t take him long to form some kind of thoughtful response. Which is the one-time Auron feels like truly one of the family. ■ PROTECTIVESpeaking of family, Auron is protective when it comes to his family and friends. He looks out for them just like they look out for him. While he might jump into things that can be more trouble than they are worth, he won’t put anyone in trouble for him. ■ LOYALWith that comes fierce loyalty. Sakura Devereux ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Unsorted ✿ First Year Pureblood ✿ Eleven Year Old
✿ Location :Great Hall ~ Sorting (2066) ✿ Company : First Years... Sorting Hat
Sakura had a love hate feeling towards heading to Hogwarts. On one hand she was free from her younger siblings but to be fair they were two. Not the most difficult to handle but still ever present. On the other hand, Sakura would be dealing with her older brother Corin. He was fun and all but more trouble than he was worth. Even still they’d be going to school together. What could possibly go wrong there? She assured herself nothing as she boarded the train to head to school.
Keeping to herself, Sakura waited until they got to Hogsmeade before changing into her robes. Taking the journey across the lake to the castle, she looked over wondering what her time here would hold. Eyes seeing the magic and possibility of this place, despite not showing her child like wonder. Sakura walked into the great hall, her head held high. Hands folded together as she waited for her name to be called. “Sakura Devereux.”
Walking over, Sakura sat down before the entire school. Seemingly unphased by this, her gaze shifted to the Slytherin table. She knew that’s where she was going. It was hardly a question in her mind. The sorting hat just needed to put her there. Hands on her lap, the young girl waited for the hat’s decision. ‘Let’s get this over with.’ The quicker the better.

■ AMBITOUSSakura like any good Devereux has a level of desire to aspire to be better than she is. She shoots high with her goals, while keeping them practical at the same time. Eager to prove herself of a higher standard, she puts a lot into getting results. Be it convincing someone she knows what she’s talking about or a late-night grind, she will not shy away from extra work. ■ HEAD STRONGJust don’t get in her way if she’s aiming for something because she will not hold back. If there is a way to bend things to her favour you can beat Sakura will try. She isn’t one to take no for an answer. Holding firm on her decisions, she does not waver easy. Consider it a family curse. ■ IMPATIENTIn turn, Sakura can be rather impatient when things don’t go her way. Though she doesn’t show it, she has a thin line for stupidity. She can grow annoyed with others, but not so far as to be short tempered. Remaining calm, it doesn’t mean that her glaring eyes can’t tell the story of irritation. ■ STOICThrough it all, Sakura will make it rather hard to read most of her feelings. She has a pretty good poker face for the most part. To know how she is feeling takes a master class level of skill. She doesn’t share whether something is really bothering her, or if she even cares for that matter. You also won’t hear her complain about things even if they are getting under her skin. She’s more likely to just walk away from an uncomfortable situation and safe herself the headache. ■ LOYALSakura despite her lack of showing her heart on her sleeve, is very family focused. She might not show it, but she does have a decent loyalty to those she considers family and friends. Even if she doesn’t act like it, she will work behind the scenes to turn things around in the favour of those she sees fit. ■ PERFECTIONISTSpeaking of Family, Sakura has her mother to thank for her desire for perfection. From her appearance to the space around her, she needs things to be just so. Not a hair out of place or toe out of line. It can come off at times as being a bit borderline compulsive when her need to keep her stuff in its place. The only time you’ll see anything slip is when she’s in a garden tending to flowers.
Vesper silently followed her classmates through the castle and down the central aisle of the Great Hall. She made a point to keep a keen eye on her surroundings, trying to memorize landmarks to help her avoid getting lost in the upcoming school year. Plus, what if she spotted something interesting? Not a clue, because she wasn’t on a case just yet, but perhaps the beginnings of a mystery that needed to be solved. Alas, she spotted nothing of immediate concern. Too bad.
Stepping into line with the others, Ves wondered to herself where she’d end up. She didn’t feel like she fully fit into any of the four Houses. She was nice enough for a Hufflepuff, she thought. Adventurous, maybe, but not exactly brave like a Gryffindor. Slytherin, with the ambitious and cunning? That seemed like the best fit, but the intellectual challenge of Ravenclaw sounded promising to her as well. Ultimately, it wasn’t her choice though, was it? When it was her turn, she stepped up to the stool, climbed up to take a seat, and tried her best to clear her mind while the Hat made its decision. She didn’t want to distract it, that would be rude.
xxxP E R S O N A L I T Yxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ■ SUBTLE MANIPULATORShe knows how to ask the right questions without raising suspicion. Her charm is quiet, her presence disarming—people talk to her without realizing they’re giving her exactly what she needs. ■ CALCULATING INTELLECTShe doesn’t just think—she strategizes. Every clue is a thread in her mental web, and she knows how to tug each one to unravel the truth. Her brilliance lies in seeing the patterns others miss. ■ RELENTLESS DEDICATIONOnce she’s on a case, she’s in it until the last secret is unearthed. Whether it takes hours or weeks, she’ll chase leads through shadows and silence, driven by a need to know. ■ EMOTIONALLY GUARDEDHer loyalty runs deep, but her trust is earned slowly. She keeps her feelings locked behind a polished exterior, revealing just enough to keep others guessing—never enough to be vulnerable. ■ INSTINCTIVE OBSERVERShe notices the twitch in a liar’s eye, the smudge on a forged document, the silence that speaks louder than words. Her mind is a camera, and nothing escapes its lens. ■ DARKLY CURIOUSShe’s drawn to the forbidden, the unsolved, the unsettling. Not out of malice, but fascination. She wants to understand the shadows—not to fear them, but to master them.

Who: Everyone (specifically East) Where: Great Hall Thoughts: We will win the House Cup. Just put us in the same house. OCC: xxxx

The House Usher ╚══════════════╝
★Is but a dim-remembered story★ ★Of the old time entombed.★
