I wanna be a model.... it's like the easiest job in the world... I'm going to e-mail my cousin who does run way shows and ask him about becoming one whee heart heart I just decided that today

D: I hate my internet. Combine comcast with a 10 year old computer loaded with all kinds of spyware because I can't upgrade my protection because the cd drive is broken, so it works about as well as the worst dial up connection you can get.
I'm gonna end up with dial up on it soon too.
Oh God, is that gonna bite.

That sucks. I just redid everything on my computer because the spyware and crap was driving me crazy! I used to scan for it everyday, but my dad did something and the ad-aware wouldn't work anymore. It's all fine now though.
I guess you can't use quick restore or whatever on your computer because your cd drive is broken. sweatdrop

If you want to be a rich model, then you need to be very tall. Otherwise, they'll just post you in signs, magazines, etc. It costs about 500 dollars to take the right pictures, send them out to companies, etc.
Some random guy stopped me on the street, handed me his card, and told me I should model. I went to the meeting and everything, but my mom said it was a bad idea and wouldn't let me continue. Not like I wanted to; I just went in the first place because I was curious.
I don't think male models EVER make good money though. Even if they're super models.
Are you thinking of making this just a "summer/random/who-cares" job or a real career?

If I can actually get a job, and do well at it, I might consider taking it up seriously. Ever since Miss Congeniality, I've always admired being a model and that sort of thing. I have a cousin who moved to SF and his job is putting together runway shows, so I was considering e-mailing him. I hope I'm tall enough. i'm about 5'10-11". Just out of curiosity how tall are you? You must be tall and pretty enough for some modeling agent to just come up to you and give you a card 3nodding

But it's still one of those careers where only one in a million make it big. Who knows though? Me? I have no idea what that guy saw in me! xd I horribly short (5' 3"!) And I guess I'm sort of "pretty" for a boy, but I thought they wanted the more muscular guys for modeling. It was just weird. sweatdrop

I don't think that's the only thing male models pose for blaugh I thought Playgirl got sued and closed down because they posted unauthorized nude photos of Brad Pitt?
