Harmony closed her eyes while she was still tied up. She tried to think of a 'happy place' while Zeng and Kusargi were playing back and forth.. She was slightly relieved that Kusargi was able to undo her shackles.. At least now, since the focus wasn't on her--but.. why.. why is she thinking like that..? No, this woman tried to help me... Harmony's internal mana started to grow as the spirit within her started to slowly wake from her slumber...

"How stupid do you think I am? You say 'look inside', I go inside, you lock me in." Kusargi sighed, then walked back the way she came. She felt something different about Harmony, like...like her sage was waking up. She smiled at the girl, then walked towards her. "It'll be okay Harmony."

Kai tilted his head slightly when Kuroi 're-sized' Sugar's armor, his fit well enough..it was a bit loose, but he was slowly filling that space with a small flow of blood so he'd be able to react quickly once they reached Zeng Hen, though he still had his two swords as well.
Skye also watched Kuroi and Sugar, then did as Kuroi did and refitted her armor to her size and flexed her arms. As an archer she needed her shoulders and elbows to move around good. "A useful feature..." she murmured.

Shadow8790 Next to Melody, a figure dropped out of the trees. He was a man, tall but very scrawny. His entire body looked as if it were torn to pieces and poorly sewn back together, including his tattered cat ears and tail, which seemed to lie limp. He wore a blindfold, which seemed to be soaked with blood near the eye sockets. "You're not useless you know." the man said in a cold, near lifeless voice. ((oh yeah! he's comin back too! biggrin )) Melody heard leaves rustling and then a voice. She looked in the direction she heard these sounds come from. It wasn't Shade, but he had a familiar voice. "Wh-Who are you?" She quickly rubbed away her tears, ashamed that someone had scene her weakness and instantly turned back into her former emotionless self. Xepher transformed from a shadow around Mell to his human form. Crouching on the branch above her, he glared at the puppet like man. 'Odd', he thought, 'It has Debido's tail and ears, but Mells eyes. I wonder if she would be as scared as I am if she could see him.'

"I don't think we understood what I said the same way..." he held his hand and Kusargi's body stopped, walking her over to the door. "You may not know, but there is reason why I am called the Puppet Master." as he took control of Kusargi the guards grabbed hold of Harmony.
"My name is Dai Wei, I'll explain more on the way..." from the inside of his black cloak he pulled out another indentical one and tossed it at Melody, pulling the hood of his over his head. "Put that on and take my hand. We're going to save your friends. As well as do a little personal favor to his higness." he said the last two words with a sarcasm filled hatred towards the man.

Melody nodded, stood up without a word, and quietly wrapped the cloak around herself. "X." She whispered to her brother above her.
At her order, Xepher swirled into a mass of darkness that became her shadow.
"Lets go." Melody wasn't a sage or even an elementalist, so she knew she had no chance against Zeng Hen who killed her entire dark race, and took over her fathers kingdom in the shadow realm. But Melody had also been training for revenge her whole life. Ready or not, she would not pass up the opportunity especially if it meant helping Debido.

"So you're probably wondering just who I am." he said in the same monotone. "Tell me, you've heard of the great war nearly 1000 years ago when the chosen one Kurama enlisted the aid of the 9 elemental gods and goddesses in anattempt to reclaim the land Euphoria from the evil king Zeng Hen, correct?"

"No. I am not familiar with this history. I am only aware of Zeng Hens involvement in the dark wars of the shadow realm. Were these gods successful in recovering their Kingdom? My race was not."

Kusargi felt herself being dragged into the room that Zeng Hen was in front of. Why oh why did she have to get herself involved?
Kuroi, if you can hear me, put some umph into your steps big boy.
Icia was back with Kuroi and upset. She felt responsible for her human.
"Kuroi...what room did you build? Is it like a torture room?"

Kuroi raised an eyebrow. "What are you talking about? I've never built a thing in that kingdom."
Zeng Hen ordered his soldiers to toss Harmony in and he forced Kusargi in after her before closing the doorway. "Let me tell you a little something about this room..." he said, his voice going through rather clearly. "This room is made out of a special alloy with mana absorbing materials. Basicly, all your powers, including simple telepathy, are rendered useless as long as you remain in that room."
"Unfortunately, no. That is where your friends come in. The sages are re-incarnations of the gods and goddesses, born in this time period in an attempt made by the nine spirits to overthrow Zeng Hen with that new girl, Shina. She is the key to his downfall." Dai Wei explained.

"Shina?" It took a few moments for Mell to remember why that name sounded familiar. "You mean the prince's girlfriend? Hmm. Who knew that ordinary healer had so much potential? But more importantly, what are we going to do to help?"

"We're going to help Kuroi and his group get an edge on saving the kidnapped sages. I know a lot about who you are and what you're doing, and I already have a resistance group of my own to tell the truth." he explained.

"Well, he's putting my human in a room blocking off her mana, meaning I can't communicate with her and Zeng Hen told us it was you who built it." Icia glared at him as she felt herself losing communications with her girl.
