Remember the one that used to pop up in Gold Beach and everyone would be scared of getting eaten by him? Yeah... that doesn't happen anymore. sad He just got nerfed into "You'll have to beat me" boss status.

he actually doesn't have a lair like kat's doll and the wolf den, he just appears randomly in gold beach. the only reason that made him fun, though, was that he was near impossible to defeat. now he's just.... another boss.

The worst thing is.. You have to actually lower your CL to be able to fight him...

..that sucks. Not that I ever dreamed of taking him out, but it's a real kill joy for those who succeeded earlier in the game. Sort of like the wolve's den scenario where she randomly popped out in the front of the den and eated you at 5.3, just for existing...I miss that too. stare

Yeah, they took surprise boss attacks out...a while ago.
Around February, at least.
And they screwed Landy over back in...July, I think.
I MISSED ALL THE FUN. By the time I actually got to a boss other than the Gnome General or OMGWTF, they instance bosses. By the time I get to 10.0 and Landy...they make it so you have to be 7.5 to fight him.

it's totally unfair. D< there's just no fun in any of that stuff any more. I mena, they've had some great updates, and I'm really excited about chapter 2, but killing landy was just wrong. wrong.

Yo comprendo espanol? Quizas. So I just got "My spanish coach"(darn you college degree! The latinos won't bother asking me for more than 'sick call slip anyway. I'm gunna be the authority!) and for all the rote memory it's bringing back, I honestly wish there was a list of lessons I could select at random. I'm on 'Donde esta el bano?', and I still haven't broken the habit of using 'es' yet. confused
I'd give it a 4/5 game wise though. Now however, I honestly wish I didn't have the power to say "In my day.." because I honestly don't have a head for foreign tongues. Kinda wished I owned it 9 years ago. Now I'm just crossin' my fingers hoping they'll make a 'My college math Coach" so I don't feel like cursing out teachers while I'm still in class.
On that note, if I randomly type something spanish~y during meets, I'm totally showing you my progress for the heck of it. xd

I know a couple of things about it, But confresi probably knows more. basically what I've heard is the people distributing rings -aren't- with G-corp, in fact, they're another organization entirely. Would confresi like to share anything more?
