Hahaha, you love those, don'tcha? I think I'll take your advice and drop it with some Elites...unless Nori's been on lately and posted. I haven't checked The Ark yet.
EDIT: I decided to join Nori on the Pelican. And I also noticed I haven't found my name posted on the ship I request to be stationed on.

Admonished Nonsense The panther, black and hidden prowled the landscape. Like one, a beast of the woods he moved through the throng of plants, shrubs, and overhanging trees. Each blending him into their long, wide shadows.
The creature or man. Nothing more then another shadow within the trees, and how he wanted to be stopped without notice. His COM brought Richard's voice across the airwaves. In a way he agreed with him but such a large group? Brutes, Grunts, certainly one would implore their superiors to bring backup as there were still survivors.
No, he'd tell him to stay back. Even though the arsenal sounded ah so wonderful. Certainly helping them complete their mission but for the risk?
Without a voice he sent a series of red dots across the soldiers holographic text-display, 'stay put.'
With that the ODST moved once more. Armed with little, or to a common soldier. Yet to him his M6C and his ODST landmark the combat knife upon him was more then enough to down a foe. Or several. If it was done right.
Now Calvary, those folks weren't coming. It seemed it was just them. For now such worries had to be set aside. For now he moved towards the NAV marker. Stopping, checking the earth and listening to its sounds. Each bit of information taken from his environment told him something new. Brutes left marks, sloppy in hiding but in hunting? Their little brains seemed to have an instinct for it. Yet Winter could play both parts. Pretending to be the hunted but really the hunter. His path was masked behind him. Nothing left behind. His steps perfectly placed. His invisibility one hundred percent.
The NAV marker was upon him. The ODST prowled the area. His eyes spotted the marine and sadly the enemies nearby. Moving slowly to their far right. Good.
Suddenly the figure brought himself upon the marine, a gloved hand snapped against the man's mouth, the other bringing the two finger sign of silence to his black mask. That's your post. It's a simple fix really

I'm already off Nori! I'm watching the Peli head for the wall. I certainly HOPE the commander doesn't die...
And Just a quick bit of information requesting. How powerful is standard Marine armor versus ODST armor? I mean, I know ODST is stronger, but by how much and how powerful are each? Thanks.

Depends.
http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/ODST_Armor
Good read.
They have motion detectors have cool, heating. It says that it gives higher agility etc and that the suit can take a few rounds. It doesn't say but I'm thinking its semi-powered. I've been trying to figure this out ><.
Still in short a lot better then Marine armor.

I understand that much. I've read that article before. Besides the obvious idea that since ODST's are overall better, I'd just like a speculation as to how much damage a standard Marine's armor can take.
I'd have to say one, maybe two plasma bolts. MAYBE.

Marine Combat Armor was designed for use against mostly insurgent forces, therefore ballistic and explosive ammunition.
It'll stop anything short of AP or high-cal, but the impact will still knock the wind out of you and possibly cause internal bleeding/organ damage.
As for covenant weaponry.... Needler rounds go through it like a hot knife through butter, and plasma fire ignites/melts the fabric, depending on where you were hit. The most you'll ever take from a covvie and survive unscathed is a glancing uncharged plasma pistol round. A plasma rifle would simply melt through you. Same goes for anything stronger.
Ironically enough, marine armor is better protection from brute shot shrapnel than anything else. The tiny shards of metal have difficulty piercing the thick weave, though the force of the explosion is usually enough to break your bones as you fly into the nearest hard surface.
