Tomo paused, looking only to the ripples in the water, "Cass is a good friend... She's..." It took a lot of courage to admit it to himself, "She's helping me fill the hole Kaia left when she d-died." He murmured, still having trouble saying the word. "She's my... almost girlfriend." He smiled a little.
Startled, Daiki fell backwards onto the bed, "I'm sorry! I mean-- ugh!" He looked around, too tangled in his own tail to get back up "I don't know what to say!" He cried, just a little afraid of her. He really wasn't expecting this reaction. He took a deep breath, untangled himself, and stood back up. He took her hands and smiled, suddenly realizing what she said, "Y-you love me, too?"

Listening she nodded when needed and snorted again," Almost Girlfriend?" Rivers eyes narrowed and a sly smile crossed her face, " The girl is growing. If you are her almost boyfriend then who's the father?" River's gaze shifted again towards the light up water, listening to it hit the shore." I may be stupid but its hard not to notice that.."
" Stop saying you are sorry.." She said softly looking at her hand and his own," Yeah, yes I do. Big suprise huh?" Her eye twitched and her face, despite being pink at the cheeks was rather calm. " Of course you don't know what to say. You think so low of yourself. I Hate people like that. Just because they are diffrent they believe they can call themselves freaks, or Monsters!" Her hands gripped Daiki's tightly and she shook her head slowly." When of course it isn't true. Daiki-kun don't make me hate you.Please, I don't want to..."

Tomo snorted and laughed, "That's actually Kaia and my baby that's inside her. It's a complicated story, but some psycho wench transfered the baby into Cass and well..." He shrugged, "That's where we are, now."
Daiki nodded, "I'm-- Nng! I mean, okay!" He said, blushing bright red, "Although..." He smiled a little, "Sometimes... I don't mean 'monster' as a bad thing. It's just a name. Just... something to call yourself when you don't know what else to say." He shrugged, "But it's hypocritical to say, but I hate it when people do that... I guess I don't realize I do it, half the time." He stopped speaking suddenly, "Agh! I'm really rambling!" He laughed nervously and sighed, calming himself down. After a few moments he laughed and hugged her, "You love me!" He cried happily.

"Oh, goodness!" She laughed with him and shook her head a bit," Oh, Tomo That's some werid stuff right there. I really don't see how someone did that!" She shrugged a bit to him.
"..Yes well it's..etch!" She blinked a bit and hugged him as well, rubbing his back a little, " You just.." Her heart stopped for a few seconds before starting again, still fast in a nervous manner. "..Try not to say..that..Yes!" She squeaked brightly giggling at his happiness." I Love you.." She said softly blinking a bit at him.

Tomo nodded and laughed as well, "I really don't understand it much, either." He said, picking his tail up out of the water, "But if anyone besides Kaia should carry my child, I would trust her to the job the most."
Daiki sighed, deciding not to talk about himself anymore, "I love you, too." He whispered, eyes lulling a bit. He rocked his hips a little, swaying to a silent song. "Right now, life is perfect."

" Yeah she is a good kid, I suppose there is no one better." Nodding alot she smiled to him." I'm sure the baby will be heathly." Popping her neck she slumped down a bit, letting her head fall back.
"..perfect.." She said softly to him, moving with his swaying body. "...You..just suffered the most outragious mood swing ever.." she giggled softly and sighed sweetly. " Well...?"

Tomo sat up again and dropped his tail back to the water, "I'm sure he will be. He's been very healthy, so far." He said, arching his back in a stretch before standing up. "I'm gonna head back inside." He said, getting a bit of a chill. He shook the loose water from his tail. "You coming, too?"
"That was all?" Daiki asked, letting go slowly, "I can handle that." He said proudly, puffing his chest out. He laughed and kissed her cheek. "I'm really glad you're back here, again."

"Yeah, What are we going to do with Baizou and Ellie.." She looked over them both in the dark before streching and standing herself. " ...well?" She asked crossing her arms in thought.
" Yeah I think so.." She giggled a bit rubbing her cheek after he kissed it. " You are glad..I'm..back.." Her eyes hit the ground for a moment then she looked up." Why did you bite me?" She said looking at her wrist." Just wondering, I-I mean I don't care I just want to know..." Looking at him in the eyes she waited, her face showing no sign of hate or distain.

Tomo looked over at them, asleep on the bank in each other's arms. "I think they'll be fine right there," He said, laying his towel over them with a smile. "Aren't they so precious." He teased, heading back towards the Muffin.
Daiki looked down at their hands together, "I was having a dream about my first home. I lived under the bed and every once in a while they would throw me whatever pest they found in the house that week. Sometimes alive, sometimes dead." he shrugged, "I ate anything they threw at me because it was sometimes the only food I got in days... I-I guess I was still in that mindset when I woke up."

Sighing softly she stared down at them for a minute," Yeah.." Said River walking after Tomo shortly after he started off. " You are some kind of guy you know that?" River mused behind him her arms crossed in an amused manner.
Thinking on what he was saying she sighed looking at the bed."..Well..Here.." She said softly grabbing his hand tightly once over, walking towards the side of the bed he emerged from and sitting down looking under it. " I'll sleep down here with you." She said blinking at her statment with a red face." I mean like sleep next to you, or something!, I mean if you have bad dreams.." She rubbed her face, sitting up on the floor.

"Yeah?" Tomo asked, resting his arms above his head as he arched an eyebrow. He didn't turn his head at all. "What makes you say that?" He asked.
Daiki smiled and squeezed her hand, "I'd love that." He said, already beginning to curl his tail up underneath the bed. "It's actually really comfy the way I set it up! I took all the soft blankets from my closet and a lot of pillows. It's awesome under there!"

"Because, you are always changing.." She said slowly," You seem diffrent every time I see you, Like if I watched you long enough I can see you grow." Rivers eyes travled to the sky as she walked behind him, arms still crossed. " I suppose I see that in everyone though some how here it is diffrent."
" Is that so? and You wouldn't mind me there right?" She asked watching his tail with curious eyes." Then I'll join you!" She said smiling brightly at him.

Tomo nodded, "I understand what you mean." He shrugged, "I guess I have changed a lot in the past few months... Becoming a dad changed me in a lot of good ways... Loosing Kaia changed me in bad ways. Life's just... funny like that."
Daiki nodded, "Of course it's okay. You'll love it, too." He assured her, "And I tend to be a space hog, so if you run out of room, just push me to the side. I probably won't wake up."

"Life is funny like that, life is just really mean like that." River smiled." What is having a child like Tomo? Is it fun?" She asked walking beside him after catching up with his walking.
Silent nodded to him and smiled grandly." Alright, I'm sure it's grand down there, I've always wondered. Well!" She chirped staring with excitment," Lead the way!"

Tomo laughed, "I dunno how girls manage it. That was hell." He said, "Felt like someone was pulling my guts out through my stomach." He shuddered, "But holding her for the first time made it all worth it." He murmured, eyes glistening happily. He reached the back door of the Muffin and pulled it open, "After you."
Daiki nodded and took her hands as he swung himself down under the bed as he had night after night. "There we are." he said, getting himself situated. "Comfortable?"
