*marches in singing*
Desmond has a barrow in the market place Molly is the singer in a band Desmond says to Molly, "Girl I like your face" And Molly says this as she takes him by the hand
Ob-la-di, ob-la-da life goes on brah La la how the life goes on Ob-la-di, ob-la-da life goes on brah La la how the life goes on
Desmond takes a trolley to the jewelry store Buys a twenty carat golden ring Takes it back to Molly waiting at the door And as he gives it to her she begins to sing
Ob-la-di, ob-la-da life goes on brah La la how the life goes on Ob-la-di, ob-la-da life goes on brah La la how the life goes on
*climbs on top of the bar and marches back and forth*
In a couple of years they have built a home, sweet home With a couple of kids running in the yard Of Desmond and Molly Jones
Happy ever after in the market place Desmond lets the children lend a hand Molly stays at home and does her pretty face And in the evening she still sings it with the band
Yeah, ob-la-di, ob-la-da life goes on brah La la how the life goes on Ob-la-di, ob-la-da life goes on brah La la how the life goes on
*jumps off the bar*
In a couple of years they have built a home, sweet home With a couple of kids running in the yard Of Desmond and Molly Jones, hey
Happy ever after in the market place Molly lets the children lend a hand Desmond stays at home and does his pretty face And in the evening she's a singer with the band
Yeah, ob-la-di, ob-la-da life goes on brah La la how the life goes on Yeah, ob-la-di, ob-la-da life goes on brah La la how the life goes on
And if you want some fun take ob-la-di-bla-da

" Pssh! I agree.. You should put him in his place. I wanted to buy this stuff...but he refused to sell it to me. I had to take it away from him before he threw it all out. That man does not know how to run a business."

Exactly! It's not a question of what HE likes, right? Like . . . if it was a video rental store, and he didn't ike horror movies, he can't just . . . NOT rent horror movies just because he doesn't like them.
Ooh! We should start a video rental place that . . . just happens to carry fan fics!

*hears "Chris, please sing for me!"*
Oh my...if you insist...
*hops on the karaoke stage and turns on a song*
I look at you all see the love there that's sleeping While my guitar gently weeps I look at the floor and I see it needs sweeping Still my guitar gently weeps.
I don't know why nobody told you How to unfold your love I don't know how someone controlled you They bought and sold you.
I look at the world and I notice it's turning While my guitar gently weeps With every mistake we must surely be learning Still my guitar gently weeps.
*sways through the guitar solo*
I don't know how you were diverted You were perverted too I don't know how you were inverted No one alerted you.
I look at you all see the love there that's sleeping While my guitar gently weeps Look at you all... Still my guitar gently weeps.
*blushes*
I'm so embarrassed that you made me sing.

You are so cute! Of course I will! *starts up the music* The screen door slams Mary's dress sways Like a vision she dances across the porch As the radio plays Roy Orbison singing for the lonely Hey, that's me and I want you only Don't turn me home again I just can't face myself alone again Don't run back inside Darling, you know just what Im here for So you're scared and you're thinking That maybe we ain't that young anymore Show a little faith, there's magic in the night You ain't a beauty, but hey you're alright Oh and that's alright with me
You can hide `neath your covers And study your pain Make crosses from your lovers Throw roses in the rain Waste your summer praying in vain For a savior to rise from these streets Well now Im no hero That's understood All the redemption I can offer, girl Is beneath this dirty hood With a chance to make it good somehow Hey what else can we do now? Except roll down the window And let the wind blow Back your hair Well the nights busting open These two lanes will take us anywhere We got one last chance to make it real To trade in these wings on some wheels Climb in back Heavens waiting on down the tracks Oh-oh come take my hand Riding out tonight to case the promised land Oh-oh thunder road, oh thunder road oh thunder road Lying out there like a killer in the sun Hey I know it's late we can make it if we run Oh thunder road, sit tight take hold Thunder road
Well I got this guitar And I learned how to make it talk And my cars out back If you're ready to take that long walk From your front porch to my front seat The doors open but the ride it aint free And I know you're lonely For words that I ain't spoken But tonight well be free All the promises'll be broken There were ghosts in the eyes Of all the boys you sent away They haunt this dusty beach road In the skeleton frames of burned out chevrolets
They scream your name at night in the street Your graduation gown lies in rags at their feet And in the lonely cool before dawn You hear their engines roaring on But when you get to the porch they're gone On the wind, so Mary climb in Its a town full of losers And I'm pulling out of here to win.
