A war would possibly boost the activity in the respective villages, and maybe get me to Konin faster.

See war is good. I could write an arc out of it :]
Shin: What would you change it to? The bomb I'm crafting will cause a mass explosion that sends out a wave of smoke and invisible gas over the thread. It'll then stick to the things within the thread, making everything within it lethal.
There will be no link to Kirigakure either so no worries about that. But, that bomb'll simply be a prototype. Eventually, Doku will create a village killing bomb.. There is a reason for her name.. Dookkkuuuuu [Poison].
Arc: Every village would be suspicious, so all treaties are dropped. This causes upset between some, thus causing war over a small time-skip. Then RP starts in the middle of a giant world war. No alliances at the start, a mass free for all.
How is that?
