"How's the view old man?" Mag shouted to the person on top of the Snorlax. "Wha?" the person sat up. "Oh is that you Mag? Glad you finally made it home." He hopped down from his pokemon. The snorlax sat up and stretched. "Well how about we head inside for the night. You grandma should be done with dinner by now." Pete said as he clapped Mag on the shoulder.

The two were shortly inside the house once again. Alice had gotten the table set and was distributing the food from the kitchen to the table. "So I came down to train with you a bit before my next gym battle. I thought I would raise up my two newest team members a bit more." Mag said as they sat down.

Minutes passed by yet Mitsu could detect no motion from under the clear, blue water's surface. "Haku?" she asked slowly. Hesitation was present in her voice. As if on command a few bubbles appeared from below and a blue and white figure soon followed. "Haku you did it!" Mitsu cheered waiting for the blue seahorse Pokemon to appear. But when he didn't she began to panic slightly. "Haku?" she asked again hoping the Pokemon would pop out of the water. Even if she got ink sprayed into her face she would not have minded.

Her eyes quickly scanned the small pond before settling on a small blue figure near the opposite shore. Grabbing her bag, Mitsu made a mad dash to the other side. Haku floated on top of the pond silently. Mitsu sighed as she carefully picked up the Pokemon from the water and held the small creature in her hands. "Good job Haku," Mitsu said, accompying her comment with a light smile.

She had meant to recall Haku and head straight for the Pokemon Center, but she soon found herself unable to move. Soon enough she could feel the energy drain from her very being and into the harmed Horsea. Knowing full well from Touya's warning that she could die from the strange healing powers she attempted to pull her hands away. The hands seemed to channel the energy within herself into the injured Pokemon or person. But just as the first time she had accidently stumbled upon her strange ability she could not move. Everything looked twisted now and her head began to spin. An oddly clear look seemed to glaze over her purple eyes and soon her vision turned black.

Was it hours later? Minutes or even perhaps days? Mitsu could only guess as she attempted to lift her head from the soft pillow below. She felt groggy and exhausted. Fatigue soaked her entire being and she could scarcely move an inch without feeling pains shoot up in every spot that she dare move. The young trainer closed her eyes hoping to fall into a deep sleep or some state or relaxation. Unfortunately her wish would not be met as the area she was currently in full of noise and chatter. Now that she thought about it, where was she? Who brought her here? What happened? Questions flooded her mind and the only seemed to aid the headache she was developing.

"You're awake!" a voice called out. Mitsu could tell it was nearby. It was a guy's voice and it sounded friendly enough. "And here I thought you'd never wake up!" She was knocked out and near death's door and this guy was sounding a bit too friendly about it. She mentally laughed.

"You're probably wondering where you are huh? And what happened and who I am aren't you?" he asked. Was this guy some mind reader like Nina or was he just so upbeat and happy-go-lucky that he could guess that?

Without waiting for a response at all he dove into a lengthy explanation. Well, that may be too technically of a term. It was more like a narrative for a story complete with wild hand gestures and overly dramatic expressions.

"You were all screaming, 'Haku! Haku!' And then you found the Horsea and some weird green light thing appeared from your hands and surrounded the Pokemon. I was all 'WOOAAAHHHH!' and stuff because I never thought that it'd be real. Really real I mean. I mean I thought it was just some old story old people made up for kids. Like fairy tales and stuff." He continued going off about some wild story and headed off topic for another five minutes or so. Mitsu's headache was merely growing worse and this person's inability to focus at the situation at hand was only making it worse. "Get to the point already," she muttered.

"Huh? Oh right. Anyways you blacked out and I brought you here!" He paused for a moment. "Oh yeah! Here's at the Verdanturf Pokemon Center. I'm Keigo by the way."

Mitsu nodded before simply stating, "Mitsu."

Keigo smiled, "What a fitting name for a Child of the Forest." He received a look for sheer amazement. Another person who knew and she stumbled upon him by pure dumb luck.

Ky frowned a bit. "Well, Trea, that's my sister's name, hasn't given us anything to go by but to say she was in Hoenn. And that was a few years back. I can assume she's still there, but I wouldn't know where to look. She's trying to become a gym leader, so I'm assuming she's collecting badges there. I'd like to go there to find her, and I've been thinking that she might be at that party you mentioned before. So... if you'd like to go, I'm more than up for it," Ky said.

Ky was also wondering on whether they should head over to Bugsy's to help. They did cause an awful wreck, and it would look really bad to just simply leave town. Then again, Bugsy did tell them to leave, and Ky really didn't want to know what Bugsy was planning to do to deal with them. So, in lack of a coin to flip, Ky tossed out the question. "Er... so what about Bugsy?"

"Yeah. . . I was really wanted to go to that party since I've only gone to a big Pokemon event like. . . once, and certainly not with my own Pokemon," Mary-Anne said, tapping a slender index finger to her chin. "And if Trea might be there, that's even more reason to go!" Perhaps she was being too cheery about the whole idea -- somewhere inside of her, a little voice pondered if Ky might actually almost dread seeing his sister, finding out if she really had changed or not -- but the girl's excitement for the beach party overrode her consideration for Ky's troubling dream.

"Oh yeah. . . Bugsy. . . Let's go check his gym out now, then. We should," the girl said slowly, hesitantly. It'd be the right thing to do, although she really didn't want to face the Gym Leader again after last night (M.A. was thoroughly intimidated). Not to mention, she had pretty much snapped at him unfairly, too. "It might be fixed up already, since I bet Gym arenas are damaged often, what with the battles going on," she added, although that almost made her feel guiltier -- if that was the case, her mess (it was pretty much her fault, from going into the Gym in the first place and then responsibilty for Daemyn setting off the sprinklers) would have caused trouble for other folk.

Keegan's eyes widened at the sight of the silvery appendage coming down on his Pokemon, but Althena didn't seem to be very worried at all. She narrowed her eyes and braced for impact, taking the hit on the top of her head. The attack wasn't overly effective, but it did hurt somewhat. Holding her head in her hands, she wavered a bit, but looked more annoyed than anything else. Keegan watched her for a moment, unsure of how much longer she could keep battling. Perhaps it's time to end this, he thought, looking at the battle-worn Furret as well. "Althena, hang in there!" he called out to the Psyduck. "Show them the power of your Psychic attack!"

Now that's what she'd been waiting for! Althena's beak curved into a grin, and she took a step back, narrowing her eyes at the Furret intently. A teal aura emanated from the Psyduck's body, quickly reaching out to engulf the Furret.

Again, the Geodude used the non-offensive Defense Curl attack, succesfully raising it's defense stat. "Oddish, use Absorb!" Train said to her pokemon.

Oddish concentrated for a moment, then let out the Absorb attack. Unfortunatly, the attack didn't seem to work, as nothing happened as far as appearance, and the Geodude didn't seem to make any signs of the attack having hit it.

"Crap!" Train said, watching the wild Geodude.

"Well, even if they fixed it up, I think we should apologize or something. I wouldn't like to have him think badly of us, especially since we didn't mean to do all of that," Ky said. Having already decided, Ky walked in the direction of Bugsy's gym. In the distance, it looked as it always did, its colors mimicking that of the thick canopies surrounding Azalea Town. Though Ky had made up his mind, he hesitated with almost every step as he got closer and closer to the gym, his fist shaking as he held it up to knock on the gym's door. "Well, here it goes..." Ky said with a sigh. Knock, knock, knock...

Furret's speed couldn't help her to outrun the teal aura that quickly spread out and engulfed her, wracking her body with painful psychic energy. The Long-body Pokemon whimpered as she hit the floor, struggling to get to her feet. After a few seconds though, she realized that she couldn't, and she fell to her stomach, eyes squeezed shut.

The entire room grew utterly silent for a few seconds as they took in what had just happened. Then, they erupted into a chorus of loud cheers, clapping and whistling for the two boys and the efforts they'd put forth into the battle. Roland closed his eyes and smiled before recalling his pink Furret, then turned to Keegan once more. "Congratulations," he nodded. "You beat me." He extended his hand for a handshake, grinning broadly at the redhead as the cheers continued to sound around them.

Kasiya had taken Levi from her perch atop her head and was jumping up and down and cheering as well. "I knew you could do it!" she yelled, although her voice was drowned out by the crowd around her. Levi was cheering too, but mostly for the win of a fellow Water-type. The Mudkip watched the Psyduck with admiration, hoping that someday the two could battle side by side, or have a good match of their own.

Althena knew she had won well before her trainer did. The Psyduck hopped up and down, clapping her hands together in excitement before she turned and waddled over to Keegan and hugged his leg. "We... won!" Keegan said, finally catching on. He bend down and scooped up the Duck Pokemon from the floor and hugged her tightly. "Good job, Althena!" he told her proudly. "I knew you could do it!" He closed his eyes for a moment, and took in the winning moment. It was very intoxicating; the cheering from the crowd, and Keegan couldn't help but wave at the many fans looking on. Then, coming back down to earth, he turned to Roland, and made his way towards the trainer. "Thank you," he nodded, shaking Roland's hand firmly. "It was an excellent battle." He looked around some more, trying to spot Kasiya. She was pretty much where he'd seen her last, but the sight of her made his smile grow wider than the thrill of winning the battle had.

He checked his watch as he walked towards her, realizing that the match had eaten up quite a bit of the travel time on the boat. With a lurching feeling, Keegan realized he'd forgotten they were traveling by watercraft, although it passed quickly. He didn't feel uneasy or seasick at all, which was a bit strange. "We should head up again," he told Kasiya once he reached her. "Otherwise we'll miss the announcement of when we arrive at Cinnabar."

"Okay," Kasiya nodded, and quickly lead the way out of the noisy arena and back up the stairs. The sudden silence of the upper deck seemed to be deafening, although it was nice to get back up into the fresh air. Levi yawned sleepily in her arms and Kasiya patted her head gently. "You should rest for a while," she told the young Mudkip, who nodded and closed her eyes as Kasiya recalled her. She wandered towards the railing of the ferry, and peered into the horizon. She could see a few islands starting to form in the distance, and she assumed they were the Seafoam Islands. She didn't know much about them, other than they were said to be home to many Water and Ice-type Pokemon. Perhaps someday she'd visit them as well and go exploring.

"It won't be long now," she told Keegan, knowing that he wasn't the happiest while on the water. "And congratulations on the win. Althena was amazing!" She could still remember when the Psyduck had hatched, and seemed so little at the time. She'd come a long way since then, and Kasiya realized that not only had Keegan's Pokemon become stronger, but so had hers. Even little Ada was too heavy to pick up anymore, and she smiled wistfully at the memory of the young Larvitar's birth. So much had happened since the festival, and so much more had happened since before that event. At times it seemed like only yesterday when Lt. Surge had given her the brown egg, and told her she should go on a Pokemon journey of her own. She was very glad she did, otherwise she might not have had all these experiences and made all the wonderful friends she had now.

Keegan called Althena back into her Pokeball, and took one last look around before he followed Kasiya up the stairs and back onto the upper deck. The uneasiness returned upon seeing the water, but he fought it off, knowing that it couldn't be long before they arrived. He watched Kasiya recall Levi, and realized suddenly that he'd forgotten to tell her about the good news concerning Helios. He leaned on the railing and looked down at the water. "Althena's grown up a lot in the past few weeks," he replied, thinking back to how well she performed her Psychic and Ice Beam attacks. "She's very reliable to use in battle." He continued to watch the waves being pushed out by the momentum of the boat, and continued to speak.

"I've got some good news, too," he added, looking up at the blonde girl and smiling. "Earlier today I spoke with the woman who technically owned Helios, and she agreed to return him to my care so long as she could keep him until he and female Vulpix produced an egg for her. I guess Helios wasn't what she expected him to be," he chuckled, thinking back to the conversation. He knew it would be a few days before he saw the Vulpix again, but he couldn't help but shake with anticipation. "Pretty awesome, isn't it?"

Now he too could see the Seafoam Islands coming into view, although he had no idea what they were called. "Is that Cinnabar?" he asked, hoping to end this excursion by ferry as soon as possible.

"Keegan, that's great!" Kasiya practically squealed, leaping at Keegan and throwing her arms around him for a big hug. "I'm so happy for you! I knew it would work out," she added, continuing to hold onto him. After a moment or two, she let go, and followed his gaze towards the islands rising up in the distance. "Oh, no, those are the Seafoam Islands, I think," she nodded. "Tons of Water Pokemon live in there."

She leaned over the railing a bit to try and see in front of the ferry. She could make out the vague shape of a tall island coming into view, although it wasn't very big at the moment. "That's Cinnabar, way out there," she told him, pointing. "You can see the volcano even from back here." She leaned back and looked up at the sky, admiring the puffy clouds that drifted overhead. "Today has been odd, hasn't it?" she asked a bit idly, sighing. "I just hope Hiro gets well soon... I miss him already." The last statement she said more to herself than to Keegan, although she was aware that he knew exactly how she felt. She smiled at the redhead and inched closer to him, slipping her right hand into his left hand, and after a few moments, leaned her head against his shoulder.

"Ah, ah anyways!" Keigo said changing he subject, "We can talk about that stuff later. But are you hungry or something? You look really tired and maybe you should eat." He was definately a chatterbox and completely friendly. It was almost too cheerful. Almost.

Mitsu smiled, his happy-go-lucky nature was contagious. "Sure. Ice cream?" she asked. A moment later he appeared with two cones. One chocolate and the other strawberry. "Here," he said handing her the chocolate cone. Mitsu sat up on the couch, taking the cone with a smiling thanks.

"So what's the uniform for? Are you in some organization or something?" she asked noting his red and dark blue uniform.

"Huh? This?" he asked tugging his red jacket. "It's a Ranger's uniform. I just snagged it while I was visting another region. I'm not really a Ranger or anything, I just like the uniform. Plus helping other people out isn't all that bad."

"Ah," Mitsu replied giving it a moment to sink in. "Helping out people, eh? A Ranger's job doesn't sound all that bad."

She licked the ice cream cone. Chocolate had always been her favorite flavor. It was quiet for a moment. Not those awkward silences, but the peaceful and plesant silences that have become rare in the busy world today.

"Keigo," Mitsu began. He looked up at her. "Your ice cream's melting," she finished pointing at his frozen dessert.

"Hwahh!" he said startled. Indeed his ice cream had been melting. All over his shirt that is. Mitsu chuckled a bit offering him a napkin.

Mike felt a small chill run up his spine as he saw Whitney dismount the three headed bird. It's not that he didn't like the girl, far from it. It was just oddly creepy how...fitting it was that a psycho like her was related to Nina. He smiled and gave a friendly wave to the pink haired girl as she walked over to them. "Hello Whit'." Mike said, keeping a friendly demeanor, looking over to the new face to her left. "And you must be Raimundo." The boy outstretched his hand, common courtesy a must when introducing oneself to a friend of a friend. "I see you carry Pokemon with you, are you a trainer, or will my luck be off once more and you happen to be a breeder?"
