Ikue laughed and nodded. "I won't. Only with those who want to go to Heaven. I'm still figuring out how I should use my abilities. Heh, I can't simply splash a ghost with Holy Water.. and the whole chanting thing seems kind of lame." She was beginning to get quite talkative, and for some reason, she did not detect the new being that has arrived in JdH. Ikue did hear the scatching noise on the door, but saw that someone else was already dealing with it.

"No, thank you. I'm fine for now." She grinned.

"Well, my master, when he wants to get rid of someone, he just concentrates and uses his power to banish them. Or he feeds them to the giant spiders... but Mistress Taryn doesn't let him do that anymore." Bertram was actually enjoying himself, a rare event even at the best of times. He took a glass of water for himself, and smiled again. "Well, I hope you'll enjoy yourself here... have you seen the rides?"

The difference in lighting was too much for him, especially after his astral form had already adjusted to a set amount of light, and he was forced to focus his eyes on an even more intense light, with his physical form. It made his eyes water up. Maybe I should've left them fogged over, he thought to himself, bringing his hands to his face to guard himself from the light long enough to situate himself and become comfortable. He didn't belong in this realm, or in this body, and little things like this really stimulated him, and more often than not, rubbed him the wrong way.

He yawned and looked down - waaaay down - at the first person to show himself and greet this noble guest. He showed no malcontent, and wondered why he didn't get so much as a formal hello. He leaned forward, trying to close the gap between him and the littler demon. "Hello," his voice boomed, or so it seemed booming. "Can you tell me who owns this establishment, little one?"

He folded his arms behind his back, still bent over, glancing down at the guy. No disrespect was intended, and his looks showed nothing but a jovial, placid persona. No wicked core, no ace up the sleeve. Just him, standing here patiently waiting to have a simple question answered. Of course, his comments might seem degrading to a demon, but Tonberries went to hell for the exact same reason - envy. These two weren't so different.

Little one!? To hell with it being degrading to a demon, the fact that Hakan was a teenager was enough to make 'little one' sound degrading to him. after all, teens hated nothing worse then not being reconized as an adult, or something close to it!

With emotions running wild inside of him, he had little control of the second spirit within. Energy was surging, blood was rushing. He couldn't stand this feeling, and yet he stood tall, he stood proud! There was no way he would let the 7 foot tall freak scare him!

The spirit for once agreed with him. As if another body was sprouting out of his body, a smokey figure comed out of the shadows of his back. It would take a moment or two for the smoke to form, but as usual it took the form of a young woman with ruby eyes which burned.

Naturally, with fear comes anger. Hakan knew this, the spirit knew this.. And yet, there was nothing they could do to keep from lashing out! "Little one?!" He would manage to keep from growling, the spirit too kept itself from hissing.

"Just 'cause you're freakishly tall doesn't mean you can call me little, bucko! I've got a name, you know!" He wasn't going to be so friendly. He would introduce himself formally. "The name's Gorotsuki, I suggest you remember it." He would state, with authority! "As for the owner, she's gone on vacation."

Kourin has been sitting on the edge of her bed, her eyes glaring at the damndable dryer. Her eyes are bloodshot, since she hasn't slept in a long time. Either that or she just forgot, like she occasionally does at times. She was staring at the dryer because it had conked out on her, which ment she had to be in a robe. To her, that was awful... she hated looking all pretty and like a girl. It made her stand out. She didn't want that.

After a moment, she turns her attention to her clothing, her black shirt which is currently hanging from the bathroom doorways. Her pants are laying on the top of the washer and dryer combination machine, and her undergarments are hanging on the doorknobs, one on the bathroom doorknob, the other on the doorknob that leads out of the room. She had been waiting for them to dry, and she hoped that finally, after one day, they would be dry.

And with that small hope in her mind, she rises to her feet, and walks over to the bathroom door, picking up the garment that is laying on the doorknob. She gingerly touches it, to check if it was dry. She smiles gently, since it was finally dry! She removes her robe and puts the first piece of her undergarments on. She then reaches up for the pants, and feels them. They were dry too! She pulls them off the door, and pulls them on. Two out of four, so far.

She then strolls over to the room exit. She checks to see if the item is dry, and it is, finally. She slides it on, now making her way over to the washer and dryer combination machine. She pokes the shirt. And it too was dry. So, she puts it on, buttoning up the buttons, before walking back over to her bed. Her coat was still on the bed, along with her hat, as she had left them. She throws the jacket on, and places the hat over her matted, Puli dog hair. Success!

"Finally! I can leave the room!!!"

"Oo.. he sounds like a very powerful person. And having giant spiders for pets would be interesting, though, I'd prefer something smaller.. spiders make me twitch." Ikue placed her elbows onto the counter, her fingers lacing together. She leaned forward a little and let her chin rest upon her laced fingers, her eyes closed for a moment. "Oh, I've seen a few of the rides on my way here. The roller coaster looks interesting to ride on, heh, but I'm not fond of those kind of rides. I have a fear of heights." Ikue chuckled.

(( I feel so brain dead... ))

-The water had felt good. The hot jets had provided the right pressure on those tired mussles to make the girl groan, realizing how tired and tense she had been. Ever since Ryoko had walked through the front doors of the hotel, Mimi's existence had been one of constant fear and stress. At every turn she expected to find the older lycanthrope, ready to convince her sibling about returning to the pride. Even in her sleep she could feel Ryoko's cold, green eyes studying her and passing judgment.

She stepped out of the shower then, the good mood that had enveloped Mimi for the past twenty-four hours gone. Wrapping herself in a thick cotton towel, the girl sighed, delicate brows furrowing. It was part of the reason why she was always busy with one thing or another--if she slowed down and gave herself time to think, her mind would drift off to the unpleasant nature of her stay, the bitter memories of the past, as well as the tragic events that had taken place within the last seventy-two hours.

Alone in that steamed bathroom she felt her weakest and most desperate. Not a soul was near to keep her company. Perhaps that is why she had been able to sleep so comfortably the night before, because Hakan and his presence was enough to keep the nightmares at bay.

Mimi shook her head, a determined frown its most current expression as a hand pressed against the mirror. A couple of wipes later she greeted herself with a curt nod and a smirk. She'd be fine, dammit, she would. It was at that precise moment that Mimi made up her mind.

For the past week she'd been contemplating the idea of going back to the Pride, even if it meant death. Hell, she had been more determined to retun the night Sirus had died. That moment in the bathroom... something had clicked, an integral part of her had grown in an essence.

Damnit, she'd stay.. and if it meant having to deal with the Deathdealers that were to come her way, she'd do it. Daisuke himself would have to come to drag her carcass back to the pride and even then she was determined not to let it happen.

It wasn't long before that small frame of hers had been encased in a fresh pair of jeans, a silk top and another one of those hooded dusters. She was about to go back into the bathroom to brush her hair when her eyes caught a hold of the time. Cursing, she headed out the door, right hand holding her wallet, the left slamming her door shut.

It wasn't until she reached the stairs that new sensation took over her body, forcing her to stop altogether. The feeling of dread clung to her stomach. Could it be that Daisuke had arrived after all?

She forced herself to move, a hand stuffing the wallet into her pocket, violet eyes staring in the direction of the lobby's entrance.-

(( see what you made me do. Now demmit, brb.))

*The girl frowned as she looked down upon the shattered remains of the tombstone. Her grip on her weapon tightened as she neared the site. It was plain to see, even for one such as herself, that this wasn't the work of vandals. Whomever had done this boasted considerable power, power that was not to be taken lightly.*

*Naja's thoughts turned to that of her brother, one who was experienced in this sort of thing. Was he seriously hunting things like this? She knew Sirus was a skilled demon hunter, but even he could not hope to stand against such a foe. Could he? Biting the top of her lip, Naj spun around, intent on finding her brother and taking him away from this horrid place...*

Bertram flushed. "Oh... um..." he didn't know what to do, then. "Well... I'm scared of almost everything on the planet..." he blushed at admitting it. "So, you're braver than me... I could never do your job." He looked thoughtful for a moment. "Would you like me to show you around?"

He tries to follow the little tyke, staring at him and the kindred spirit that resonated from his back. He didn't question these bizarre acts, but reconciled that he struck a nerve and would try his best not to agitate the situation any further. His hand swept through his bangs, his silver hair radiating under the newfound light of the room. He was still in the doorway, and not quite welcomed in yet. He stays hunched over, thinking of how to retaliate appropriately, but the ring wouldn't let him.

A jar, Abigor. Stuff that pip squeak in a jar now!

The voice wasn't more than a whisper, but it was surely heard. It sounded like the wind speaking, but the words were too well-formed to be just wind-games. Abigor sweatdrops and backs up, closing his eyes and shaking his head a little. "Shut up- Excuse me.. Mr. Gorotsuki. I'm sorry," he motions apologetically and sighs deeply. "I suppose you'll be the big man while the owner is out?" He grinned at the use of his words, but this time Gorotsuki probably deserved it.

As for being an adolescent.. It's been over an eon since Abigor was so young as to be even concidered a young adult, and his childhood consisted of nothing more innocent than a daily brick to the back of the head. He always got picked on as a child for his differences, and they only made him stronger now, didn't they?
