mortis was losing hope...there was only one thing that he thought of that would've made her respond to him. he knew it would work because she had revealed her infatuation with him earlier.

she draws the seal in her blood then her finer turns sharp and carves it into his neck she then kisses it and it glows red and heals into the seal "there now you will gain power from anyone that shows the sin of Pride and if a part of you is destroyed the seal will grow it back" she smiles at him "welcome to the 7 sins Pride"

mortis rested on angel's shoulder, giving her comfort with him looking out for her. mortis had finally made the breakthrough of getting her to drink and he couldn't let her stop, he kissed her neck once again, all the while thinking of athena.
