Just saw Kill Bill 1&2. I feel... saturated. With violence.
Gogo and Elle rock my socks. Gogo's weapon and fighting style are just... Wow. And the crazy. I mean, that's a lot of crazy. And Elle. With the talking back. Wow.
I'm gonna get all squeaky if I keep talking about that movie.
Five point palm exploding heart techinique. That guy. I want an old chinese guy to teach me to kill like that. I guess they have them in China or something.

Bakamattsu My girlfriend's parents met me for the first time yesterday. That was amusing biggrin We were at my house with a 2 other friends and the parentals came to the door to pick her up. I answered the door in all my skull and crossbones, chains and spikes glory and I literally saw he eyes widen. But that was nothing compared to when my g/f said, " Hi mom" and then proceded to kiss me goodbye. eek sorry just had to tell thatlol Both La Blue Girl and Legend of the Overfiend suck. God the ending was awesome. In a lot of ways completely different from anything else in the two movies.
I just... GWAR! Elle v Beatrix! And the sword.
So was Budd actually Bill's brother, or was it sort of a comrade-brother type deal? Because Budd looked way younger than Bill, and I thought Bill never knew his father... So at most they'd probably only be half-brothers... Oh, and what was up with the insciption on Budd's sword?Ooookay, I didn't think anything in that was spoilery like bringing up how awesome I thought it was that Beatrix knew the five point palm exploding heart technique and used it on Bill (although once you knew there was that technique, if you didn't see it coming, you're probably congenitally retarded), but I suppose if you consider any information whatsoever about the movie a spoiler, then I guess that it was. Anyways, sorry about that Messiah. Temptation to add something here knowing he won't see it for fear of it being a spoiler is great... But I think this is what I'll add.So yeah, my friend said the inscription meant that Bill was gay and he'd been having incestual homosexual sex with his brother, but on the other hand, I think you can love your brother without ever having sex with him, even once, so it might have just meant that since Bill never knew his father, Budd was the only man he'd ever loved in any way. And then I thought, but was Budd even Bill's actual brother? And I wasn't sure on that, because of the whole Bill not knowing his whole father thing which is why he attaches so easily to father figures (not that it really came up except to explain why this one guy would know where Bill was), so you'd think his father wasn't around to sire more children. And then I thought, well, they might only be half-brothers, or it might be more of a comrade sort of thing.So yeah. Anyone else have thoughts?

Yes!! The L vs B swordfight was wonderful... and it made me sad, kinda... but you know, at least Elle went down kicking and screaming.. literally...
And the Bill / Budd thing.
I dont know about the brother thing. They didnt LOOK similar, but they were always mentioned as 'brothers' and such.
Except that Esteban guy... he didnt mention Budd at all when he was saying that "BEEL Vuas liek AY SON dto mie..."
I dont know, I always thought they were just brothers I guess... Budd had no "last name" and neither did Bill... so it was kinda like a misinformed connection in my mind....
And that's my incoherant thoughts on that. biggrin

I figure they're brothers in an immediate family sense. The only thing that would detour my line of thinking is the scene where Elle kills Budd and tells Bill about it...Bill seemingly having no emotion towards the matter.
And sybrid...would you please smack/hit/scold/kick the person who said the inscription on the sword had something to do with sexual references/preferences the next time you see them?

Yeah Ashram, I did point out that the sword didn't necessitate homosexual sex, but you know guys... love apparently must lead to the buttsechs or something. Makes family reunions so much more creepy...
Anyways, was there any info in the movie about what happened between Bill and Budd that made it so they weren't talking or anything? Bill seemed to want Budd to get over something... But they never really went into detail what happened.
Apparently the girl who played Gogo was in the Battle Royale movie, which makes me very curious to see it now.
