Hey guys. Fen just PMd me saying he's gonna have a hard time posting for a couple days so anything to do with Selene in play is going to have to wait.

I am a bard. But don't let that fool you, he is quite capable of combat being an anima and all.

OK, here's my two cents on the whole situation. I feel I have the ability to add my two cents because, while I haven't been active for long in this RP, I do plan to be. Also in the past two days I seem to have written more than most people do in this guild and I really don't want to lose Sairaith.

I have been reading the posts in this guild ever since Ron asked me to join, so here's a fresh unbiased third party opinion from someone who is much more used to writing actually Literate RPs. This RP is maybe could be considered semi- literate, which is fine. But as a video game designer/artist as a Major and as a Profession I can tell you that the way you're running this game is inefficient, completely newbie unfriendly and is going to crash and burn in the very near future. You're trying to run this game as if it was a MMORPG like World of Warcraft, which would be fine if you had a couple hundred people playing active characters and if you actually had more forums and subforums. For the purposes of this RP it can't work for long.

Here are the main problems:

1. The game is so freakin' complicated it makes newbies cry. I personally know of two people that I introduced to this RP after I joined that said "thanks, but no thanks" because they couldn't understand what was going on. The only reason I figured anything out was because I called Ron twice to get him to explain things to me verbally.

2. The ranking system is inefficient and prevents newbies from actually leveling up. The "masters" who are meant to be training are erratic and it appears that some people are just allowed to level up at the whim of the captains, which makes for a completely unfair RP system.

3. I understand that this is a free form RP, but it needs some form of structure in order to work properly. That structure is in the main storyline. However the inane thing about the main storyline is that a. it's not a storyline at all and b. it prevents new characters from getting involved. I can tell you that as a newbie I don't care about the sins plotline, I don't care to level to get into it, because it doesn't give me purpose.

HOWEVER, that can easily be fixed by developing a more political understanding of the world. If there is conflict between nations, maybe a battle of good nation v evil nation with a neutral mercenary nation would work. Perhaps there is an evil dictator that makes for a common enemy. or something. There are billions of possibilities that exist and you wouldn't even have to restart from scratch.

4. Lastly there needs to be an overhaul in administration. There are too many people getting away with things in this guild that they shouldn't be allowed to get away with based on the rules. inactive members on the crew need to be demoted or removed from the guild. Crew members need to be given slightly more power so that they can make sure that the rules are followed and crack down on people who aren't.



The next point I'd like to cover is that as a member of the nation of Horus I don't want Wulf in charge. I've read through his RPing and I'm not impressed by it.

I'd rather not see Wulf in charge of nation either, his ability to RP seems just slightly better then Oxy's <.<
