Moze shrugged at Henrietta. "Okay, if you insist." He paused for a moment, thinking of something to hum. And then he began to hum the fanfare he had just heard from Nimbasa City when he and Mayer went to go see the supermodel show. ((EDIT: Also the best city music in the game, imo)) ~~~~ Salieri rose an eyebrow as Robby began to do...something with that food. Eating wasn't the right adjective, it was far more extreme. "Uh..." And then she shrugged. It was no wonder that he was that large with that kind of food intake. But that only furthered her belief that his cooking had to be supreme. After all, someone who eats so much had to have a great sense of taste. And possibly the skills necessary to sustain himself when all else failed. So she sat down at the table opposite of him, watching him eat like there was no tomorrow. How does he do that? Is this some sort of technique-holy crap, there was a whole sandwich in front of him a second ago. Did that...did that just disappear?But patiently she waited, observing his eating technique with awe. This guy could give Chen Zhen a real run for his money in the gluttony department."So...who are Fried and Bacon? Your pokemon, right?"

Robby looked up as he was interrupted by Sal's words, and another part of his meal seemed to vanish before he finished chewing long enough to answer. "Yup. Bacon's my..." what was he again? "Ahem." He began eating again as though for a stall tactic. The food was actually sorta good. Except that one bit of ice cream. Something might have gone bad in it. The obese lad shrugged, and released his pokemon instead of explaining. Well, two of them anyway.
The average-sized Pignite that was Bacon stood and looked between the obese lad and his apparent company, while the fifteen foot Combusken stared in horror as his trainer devoured such an awe-inspiring amount of food. "Them." Robby said through bites. Somewhere along the line, he'd managed to begin munching on chips while he ate.

"Salieri seemed to think we met as well, but I don't...?" Eunmi stared at Moze as they walked towards the bar, pressing her memory for something, anything. Martial arts, he'd said?
She remembered rain. It was raining. And...?
"Y-you're that guy!" Eunmi suddenly said, ignoring his comment about being a lightweight.
"From that time...!" It suddenly made sense to her, the memory filtered back into her brain, fuzzy still, but she remembered his smile.
"Oh my god, I do know Salieri!"

Henrietta, surprised by Eunmi's sudden outburst, took a quick step back. "Y-you know him?" she asked. She then looked to Moze, who was humming. It felt mocking, actually.
No one is gonna hum cause you keep askin', dumby.
Henrietta shook off the oncoming flashback. So, she stayed quiet. If Eunmi knew him then it didn't matter, right? Of course, it wasn't like Eunmi didn't have friends before her journey.

Salieri practically fell out of her chair at the sight of the giant Combusken. She had never seen a pokemon of that size before. It was a good thing that the cafe had conveniently high ceilings. "Wow you're a big fella, aren't you?"
She turned her head back to Robby, who had cleared out most of the food by now. He seemed pretty absorbed in what he was doing, so the Battle Girl hopped onto the table, looking down at Bacon and looking up at Fried. She took her pokedex out to check the species.
"A normal Combusken is only about three feet tall," she muttered as her eyes scanned the data. I'll have to ask him about how he managed to catch something like this eventually. Sal snapped the dex shut and put it back into her bag. Then she planted her hands firmly on her hips as she surveyed her new pupils.
"But you're both Fighting types. Which is good, I've got some experience training Fighting types. Alright then, are you two ready to work hard and get fired up!?" she asked them enthusiastically.
~~~~
Moze nodded as he finished humming the last few bars of his song. He made a clicking noise with his tongue and pointed to Eunmi, one of his eyes half closed to block out the sun that shined through the buildings. "Bingo. I see that you're doing well for yourself, Emi," he said through a smile, continuing to walk forward and casually twirl his walking stick in one hand.
"Looks like you learned how to defend yourself, too. You've come a long way from being that troubled girl I met in the rain! Zeraaaa~shashasha!" Moze laughed heartily in fond remembrance. Although he hadn't spent much time with Eunmi after she had been taken back to the dojo, he couldn't forget their first encounter.
"So, do you still need a drink to jog your memory?" The musician turned around to face them, resting his walking stick up onto his shoulders behind his neck. "Or can we drink to celebrate reunions and new friends?"
The two pokemon being scrutinized looked to Sal. Fried seemed to shrink under the scrutiny, and in the end, turned back to watch his trainer in horror, while Bacon gave what seemed just the same level of scrutiny. In actuality, he was faking it, but he felt that she should feel the same pressure of being judged. The pignite just watched carefully as she muttered something. And then she was being all charismatic. Fried's attention was called back by her last words, and the two pokemon had very different reactions.
Fried seemed to cringe at the sudden implication that she would be teaching him, and the fire in her eyes caused him to slouch a bit, making him seem less a giant combusken than he was. He was still giant, but maybe about fourteen and a half feet slouching like that... Meanwhile, Bacon seemed to take in the words only for a moment before he made two fists and seemed to get excited. The fire in his eyes was followed by heat that was a nearing of the fires of flame charge being brought out, which resulted in a distortion of the air because of the heat eminating form him. If one was ridiculous, they might say he had an aura around him. "NITE!"
Robby was just about finished with his food as well.
"I think we should drink anyway," Eunmi laughed. She smiled pleasantly and nodded her head to Henrietta. "I ran away from my grandmother's once.
"She's the real uptight sort - kind of mean spirited, in my opinion. I ran away but almost got beat up by some guys," Eunmi said. She paused for a moment. "I don't really remember why. But Moze and Salieri saved me.
"You know, that incident inspired me to start Taekwon-do," Eunmi said, tapping her finger to her chin as she reflected. "It really pissed my grandmother off."
She smiled again, a little more sinister now.
"I love doing that," she concluded.
"S-so, if you were inspired to do it h-how come you stopped?" Henrietta asked. She didn't really have anything else to add but she didn't want to be a third wheel.
Eunmi paused, a serious and sort of sad expression appearing on her face momentarily. It faded quickly, but if you paid attention enough you probably saw it.
"I had more important stuff to do," Eunmi said. She raised her hand to the back of her head and laughed. "I actually got really bad grades my last year of school...
"I had to quit." She said it like it didn't matter, but of course that wasn't the case.
Henrietta, having been looking at Emi, caught it but made no mention. "H-hum. W-well, at least school is over with now. S-so, you could practice again if you wanted to. N-no grades to stop you and being a trainer y-you don't have to worry about more important things," Henrietta said, trying to sound as encouraging as she could.
The saloon style double doors to the bar opened with a push of Moze's walking stick. "Now that's the spirit," he agreed with Henrietta, nodding to Eunmi while walking over to sit at one of the bar stools. "The open road let's you choose just which path you wanna walk. You can do anything you want." He took a seat and spun around, showing off that these bar stools were the spinny kind.
"Although I think you'd benefit from a better motivation then one that's born from a negative feeling," he noted as he turned to greet the bartender. "Uh, can I please have a rum and ginger ale? Separate? I'll mix it together myself."
The bartender nodded, turning his attention away to anyone else who needed a drink before getting Moze's prepared.
~~~~
Salieri folded her arms across her chest and shrugged. It looked like Fried was a gentle giant, or at last a timid one. But Bacon, true to a Fire type's form, was all riled up at the sign of encouragement. "Well, uh, that's the spirit. I guess."
She looked up at Fried. Although she was standing on the table, there was still quite a difference in height. "Listen up, when I'm done with you you'll be standing as tall as you should be," she promised. Not sternly, but enthusiastically. It looked like Fried would be more difficult to teach how to fight.
Sal looked down at Robby. "Ready to go?"

Well, that was a disaster. The Hotel's restaurant wasn't serving any food until the damage was repaired. They couldn't risk any more people suing them or they could have gone out of business. Well, that sucked. He left the Hotel and was walking past a little cafe when he spotted something that should have been impossible. A fifteen foot Combusken. And next to the impossibly tall Combusken was a jiggling Snorlax. While Luka had never physically seen this Pokémon before, his parents had showed him numerous pictures of Pokémon from across the globe.
He walked into the cafe to investigate and was horrified and bemused to find that the Snorlax wasn't a Snorlax at all. In fact, it was a human being. That in itself was almost as bizarre as the Combusken. And the guy was literally packing an entire table of food away in that cavern of a mouth.
It wasn't until after he'd finished digesting the reality of the situation that he noticed Salieri, the battle girl, on the table. It took Luka a moment to recognise her from the tournament and from the way she looked guessed this must be Moze's sister.
Luka didn't really know what to do, so he went to the counter and ordered a simple Cheese Sandwich, a packet of crisps and a lovely slice of cheesecake that was a special for the day and sat down on a nearby table. He didn't really know how to greet these two trainers, so, he just thought he'd wait and see if a conversational topic came up that he'd be able to interject into by way of an introduction.

Bacon looked up to Fried and shook his head at the fear in the pokemon's eyes from the trainer's words, rather than excitement. Why was the combusken being so weird? Didn't every pokemon love to battle as much as he did? The pignite shook his head, sort of, and looked to Robby.
The obese lad looked back at the battle girl and nodded slowly. Yeah, he was. "Alright. What's yer name anyway?" He munched chips as he asked this, that could have come from anywhere. The pokemon both stood silently, Bacon still excited and Fried trying to shrink so that people would stop staring...

Salieri hopped backwards off of the table, done with trying to inspire the pokemon in the cafe. She landed back onto her chair and crossed her legs, jabbing a thumb at her chest with a grin.
"I'm Salieri Del Forrest of the Del Forrest dojo. It's a name that'll shake this country someday, so I'd get it memorized if I were you."

Robby tried to work the name out in his head. Sal... ee..? Eh, too hard. He nodded slowly. "Alright, Sally then." He said aloud, nodding. "I'm Robby Tobb." Using the full name seemed appropriate since she had... "The eatin' contest champion." And there were his accomplishments. Wait, should he have said Iron Chef? Nah.
"That one's Bacon," he motioned to Bacon, " and that one's Fried," the fifteen foot Combusken was motioned to. "Then there's roast, but she's got wings. Don' know how to use 'er here.
