Little Chase smiled. "you can stay in my room" he said happily.

Lehran smiled. "ok then, I care about you Tigerlilly, anyone who is willing to go so far to protect the ones they love I will be willing to fight for as well."

Chase smiled and led Sage up to the roof as he looked up and felt the rain hit his face. "this is so relaxing isn't it."

Little Chase nodded. "yeah stay with me pretty Tess."

Lehran laughed. "ah yeah I probably do, at my age we all look very strange." he coughed a couple of times. "seems I"m still getting my strengh back."

Chase smiled. "yeah, it is, you know I used to be afraid of water but now I find it very soothing."

(no worries I'm about to head to bed anyways, besides I know the feeling trust me. Oh and don't forget Chase said something to Sage to but don't rush getting to it I can wait I'm patient)

Little Chase smiled. "yay pretty Tess get comfy bed, I'll show pretty Tess room" he grabbed her hand and stumbled trying to get up the stairs. "steps really big" he said as he tried to crawl over them. "don't worry I'll get you up there."

Lehran smiled "yeah, Lilly I also want to make you understand something else about Chase that's important, you seen the rock she carries right, you see that is Chase the body you see is just a shell that the rock's power uses for him to act in this world that rock cannot so much as have a crack in it or he will die it's his only weakness is how much the rock can take, so by protecting Sage you are also protecting Chase. Will that bother you in any way?"

Little Chase smiled when she picked him up and pointed to a door when she got up the stairs. "that's the room pretty Tess"

Lehran said. "Good I'm glad, hopefully things won't get near as intence as what we just went through."

Chase kissed her. "yeah, but it's still not as soothing as a moment with you."

Little Chase smiled. "you like pretty Tess?"

Lehran laughed. "I'm sure every night Sage and Chase will have something to do" he looked out. "but the longer I stay the chances of someone coming to attack will be higher so I guess that would make things better for you."

Chase kissed her. "yeah" the rain then slowly subsidded. "maybe we should head downstairs to see the others I haven't seen little Chase in awhile."

Little Chase smiled. "good" he hugged Tess. "Pretty Tess you're very nice I want to spend more time with Tess."

Lehran laughed. "yeah I wouldn't like that either, but for now being lazy would be nice I don't think any of us would be ready for a battle at the moment."

Chase looked at her. "Sage I know it's a lot to ask of you, but since Ayumi left can you help me raise him. I'm sorry I know he's not yours but he needs the care of a woman as well as care from me. I don't think I can raise him without that help."

Little Chase smiled and looked at Tess. "Tess very beautiful" he said happy that she was with him. "Tess, play some more?"

Lehran sighed. "no no no I know it seems like that but that's more of a habit he has rather than a thought. He has a bad habit of wanting to protect those he cares about and will forget that the people he cares about can fight too he kinda has an ultra-guardian mentallity. When we fought together he always watching over everyone else his greatest fear is seeing someone he cares about in pain you have to understand something about him he has had very few people he cares about so they are precious to him he can't bear to see them suffer even a little. If it bothers her though ask her to talk to him he's very understanding."

Chase smiled as they started to walk downstairs and noticed Tess holding Little Chase. "Hey Tess, son how are you two." he noticed LIttle Chase was holding on close to Tess. "wow he's grown really attached to you. Sage do you want to meet him."
