How is it fair that someone worked hard on making a custom, that at least 10 sentences. More then most normal jutsu, then had to do a detailed rp sample, and then has to post learning on top of that. Which that was the reason your only allowed to submit 3 a week, not to mention it takes at least 6 days to get anything approved. I've had a custom weapon that been in approval for over a month now, It nothing more then being paranoid that people will flood the custom jutsu, which they wont. I mean even now the custom jutsu section backed up over 2 weeks. I doubt changing it to where they auto learning it will change anything. Especially since I know from experience, it doesn't change anything.

But hey I'm not looking to change it, I'm just pointing out the flaw in that logic.

Probably BB, because they didn't want to be like NUR. I remember when I was there they didn't have a limit to how many jutsus you can summit a week. Chuunins and genins were posting S rank jutsus left and right and although the jutsu was sound and approved, they auto learned it. Just thought I'd point that out if that helps any at all

Normally, if it's a very slight custom, we cut people a little slack on the "ten sentences" rule. As for the submissions rules, have you ever been an approver of customs, been gone for a weekend, and have come back to THIRTY custom jutsu to check? Back when I was doing every job, I did. It HAS happened before, and trust me, if we werent so strict about it, it would happen again.

You leave out how they couldn't learn them til their rank. Like it is here. and we did have a limit, like it here. Unless your getting your outdated information from the dark times after DT and before Eris. That can not be held responsible since those leaders just used NUR as a cash cow and didnt care about what happened.

@Greg: Yes I approved custom jutsu, weapons, puppets, bloodlines, custom bloodlines, i approved everything. I might have had 30 between all of them. Never all in one section.

Learn It.

Last year, I asked the same question Jade did and Zane replied saying it was allowed for the creators to auto learn depending on their rank. Can't it be be like that? (Of course up to a limit) Since the styles can't be passed to someone unless there is a master or a scroll to learn from.

The bonus to a custom style is that you can learn it quickly and easily, without a teacher, because you're creating it. Auto learning would be utterly insane simply because that's gaining knowledge and experience from thin air, something a good RP looks down upon.

I expect Bea, that he said that because you were also an auto rank, meaning you took your custom style as your auto rank taijutsu. It'd be outright insane to let someone auto learn an entire style. That's up to 100 skipped posts in some cases. Not exactly fair, nor logical.

Please realize that A) That was a year ago, rules change, and B) That was back when this guild was not nearly as structured as it is now. So yes, you have to learn your style, you cannot autolearn it.

Tosa, you mentioned bonus. Where is that "Bonus" stated?
PostPosted: Tue Feb 15, 2011 1:44 pm

Its not a defined bonus, its common sense. A person creating a Taijutsu style wouldn't need to be taught the style, since they're creating it.

Havn't we proved yet that nothing can be labeled common sense, especially in a "structured" place of rules.

As much as I wish that wasn't true, I suppose it is. But I still cling to the hope of proving myself wrong.

Here! Here!

...Cobra seconds this brilliant sentiment. (especially since it's a point he himself has made many times)

That would be Inazuma Dorobo, but his RPC would probably have to be the one to teach you.
