Idan gave a small smile "I know.. and I appreciate that. I just don't think right now you can protect me fully. I miss your hugs though..."
Chev smirked and pulled him over "Is that all I'm good for? Hugs?"
He grinned innocently "Yep... "
Chev rolled his eyes before becomming solemn again "I've been talking with mom and we're trying to get father to back off."
"You really think being cured will change that I'm wrong?"
"You're NOT wrong. Father just can't accept anything outside of his own plans and ideas.."
Idan tilted his head "Its not just dad who thinks that way about me though.." He shrugged "Maybe all the time jumping screwed up my brain..."
"Idan please... you're not screwed up. No one's taken the time to get to know you properly."
"Maybe.."

After a few moments of silence Chev sighed "So you're NOT coming home then?"
Idan shrugged "I think its useless to makes plans at this point since we don't know how long it will take for me to be cured... or even if dad can de distracted from wanting my demise." He paused "I'm kinda suprised he didn't try sooner..."
Chev frowned "Mom wanted you. Father just feels now she's had you around enough... especially since you don't even live with them anymore..."

"And you trust Darkfang? She can't care for you properly..."
He frowned "She does what she can. I know not to expect anything physical from her..."
"You're a tactile pony Idan... its got to be killing you to have NO affection.."
He shrunk back "Maybe a little... but I'm dealing. Its not as bad as I thought it would be. I thought you'd be happy to be rid of the clinging?"
He snorted "No.. I find everything too quiet now.."
"You should get a girlfriend... or boyfriend.."
"IDAN!"

Idan sighed and leveled a glare at his brother "When Darkfang comes back I want you to apologize... that was uncalled for."
"What makes you think she's even coming back? She's probably back in her lab... fiddling."
He rolled his eyes "With the amount of preparation she took just for this trip I doubt she went far. She's probably somewhere nearby watching us.."
