The Lady sighed in a dissapointed way. She looked directly at Miguel, "How do you think I....how do you think the Dead can trust you now? Loyalty is the key to trust. Now you're bound by unknown magics."

Miguel took a moment before he responded. "now you know how i feel..." he shook his head, and stood, walking across the room, turning around, and staying still. "my life debt is... was... to that one wolf, and that one wolf only. and it is my honor... not magic... that bound me to it." he shrugged. "if you dont wish to accept this... i dont blame you..." he was now at the bars, close to the lady. "if you still want me to prove my Loyalty... just tell me how." he paused for a moment, then chuckled. "you got me monologuing a bit." he smirked. he had no idea why he added that, but he hoped humor would lighten things up a little.
((i had an idea... but i think it might be a bit god moddy... just like, unlocking the door...))

The Lady sounded pained, "I cannot figure out a way to prove your innocence. I'm already having trouble with the death council. They want you head. I can't let you off....because I would look weak to the undead that want to rebel."

Miguel shrugged a little. "well... thats reasonable." he thought for a moment. "well... until i figure something out... ill stay in here." he purposefully made it sound like he was staying off of his own free will, rather than the will of the people in charge of him.

he Lady sounded cross, "If you escape, you will prove you are a traitor and Harriot will gladly chop off your head. I will send the council and they will speak with you. They will decide your fate."

Miguel shrugged. "i realize that." he sounded slightly excited, but not in a good way. "do you really think i want to be stuck in here? waiting for the royal guard to execute me?" his heartrate had increased, and he was breathing a little more heavily. he paused, trying to calm himself. "believe me, M'Lady... if i were a traitor... if i really wanted to sabatoge our people's alliance... idve been out of here day one." he half smiled, half smirked, as a small, deep click sounded, and the door of the cell slowly opened a a little bit. Miguel didnt move, but continued smiling. "you can close that if you wish. im going nowhere." he knew this was a really risky gamble, but he hoped the Lady would get his point.

The Lady...looke unimpresses, "Why do you think we didn't put you in a max cll prison? Miguel don't take me for a fool. You staying here has already caused me to doubt the call to execut you. Miguel......I think I might have a way for you to prove your loyalty."

Miguel's smile changed to mostly a smirk. "well. im glad to see neither of us underestimate each other. if i took you for a fool, i wouldnt have opened the door." he chuckled, and walked over to the door, closing it again, and fidgeting around with a small figure made of bone, that had just come from the lock. without looking to her, he spoke again. "what are you thinking?" there was another click, and he shook the door a few times, making sure it was locked, then walked back to his original spot, waiting for her answer.
