Nolan raised an eyebrow. "You're... broke, great..." Nolan commented dryly. "And I seem to resemble my dear older brother quite a bit... unfortunately. Nina," Nolans turned back to face the captain, "what date did you become financially disadvantaged? And, also... what are you doing here, floating next to that... planet?"

"You're cute and everything..." She replied with a witty smile and a wink. "But I don't think it'd be wise for me to go on a date with the repo-man. Sorry, hun." The nerve of him to ask her on a date (because you didn't specify your question). "Shouldn't you be happy that I'm broke? Now you get to arrest me and take all my stuff."

"Oh..." Shina then blinked at Nina's remark, "Actually. Jad can get pretty aggressive when something is forceably taken from him... There was this one time where this guy Jad hired was going to be arrested... for a crime he didn't commit, I think... so Jad kinda... killed the arresters... with a crowbar."

"I didn't ask for a date with you, I asked what was the date that your financial situation deteriorated to this level."

"You didn't?" Nina smiled and laughed. "Oops! Sorry. I guess I'm just used to the guys asking that when I invite them into my office... haha.... mmm... hehe..." she giggled and blushed, possibly thinking about some naughty office fling from years ago. "Ah... Anyways. I'd have to say... my finacial woes came to be around the first year of my captainhood. You see, since I got onto the Altantis, I actually haven't had much contact with the dearest king and queen. They never supplied me with the money I needed to run thier ship, so for a while I paid out of my own pocket. But since I wasn't being paid, I decided to take what I needed from them. I only did it for the good of my crew..." She grinned ear to ear.

((I read a brief bit of that blog, Hiddo! I didn't get much of the story in, but the overall feel and structure of it was very good. *claps*
Now if only I can shamelessly advertise my Gaia Journal, in which is a long-neglected story as well.... (heh, heh).
I have semester exams tomorrow, as well. I should go to bed, as well. o_O))
