Vajra B. Hairava Man, I have officialy been ******** over by college. So, I'm pretty much poof'd now, though I can exist kinda sometimes. I'm glad to be getting the two free years at this community college. gonk You're in Minnesota, so you probably could have gotten into the PSEO program and gotten ******** over two yeears earlier. At least it wouldn't cost you anything. Except pain, blood and tears.

Though I doubt either of you have to endure a three hour bus ride to your colleges. Not to sound racist, but as soon as this one group of Asians got on the bus, I suffered the putrid smell of wontons the whole way (*cannot stand Chinese food*).
Mass transit sure does suck balls.

Worse than that, I'm living there. And its the most boring and inconvenient place ever. And for some reason, absolutely anything must be as complicated as possible.I won't go into specifics, but on top of that, I have absolutely nothing to eat but saltines and ramen for the next week. Oh, also I accidentaly washed my phone this morning, making everything even harder. <********, I hate college. I hate everything about it. If anything, its totally counterprodictive to me learning anything. A near complete waste of time and money. If this is supposed to be the best years of my life, I'm just gonna kill myself now, really.

Nope, I just have to walk 2.5 miles with a 40LB backpack. Then, when I'm done, I have to walk back. The bus only comes anywhere near to my house at 6:30AM. We do have a decent bus system for the most part, but unfortunately in my town they're rather sparse. My college actually isn't bad. It's the biggest community college in the state, though (great, now some of you will know what it is), and it's really, really crowded. The school was built for 6,000 people, but we've currently got around 14,000, I believe. Vajra, whatever college you're going to, remind me not to transfer there. xp

ARGH.
Why is it that in join requests, people always put Japanese first? I mean, I swear they rearrange their sentences so as to put Japanese first. It drives me batty. burning_eyes
"I want to learn Japanese, I speak English, and I'm learning French and Spanish."
"I'm learning Japanese, I want to learn more Japanese, and I speak a little Japanese!"
ARGH CAN IT IT'S NOT THE JAPANESE GUILD. >.>

I wish Japanese was less popular. The people "supposedly" trying to learn Japanese give me a horrible reputation. I like the Japanese language, thats it. No manga, no anime, not even the food. I don't even want to go to Japan!
And on top of that, any Japanese class is full of idiots. But, I gotta admit I love the feeling of power, being able to totally dominate anyone in the class. Besides the teacher, that is.

Eccentric Iconoclast Nope, I just have to walk 2.5 miles with a 40LB backpack. Then, when I'm done, I have to walk back. No offense, but... that's nothing. To me, anyway. In all seriousness, I would trade you if I could. We'd probably find each other's ways of getting there more pleasant than our own - at least I know I'd find yours much, much more pleasant. Better to stretch your legs than sit on your a** for six hours a day.

Subject Change!
Ho' s**t, I am so sick of the Japanophiles. This is unrelated to the recent forum post by the way, some real life events brought up this rant.
But oh man, Japanese has the worst image ever because of those people. And that image gets proected onto me, being a Japanese learning person myself. But no, I don't like manga, I don't like anime, I don't like japanese food, I don't even like japan. I don't even want to go to japan. (India FTW) Ghaa!
HATEHATEHATE
I no like being generalized, mommy!

If this is supposed to be the best years of my life, I'm just gonna kill myself now, really. How is it possible to accidently wash your phone? xDD Sorry your life isn't going so swell. And I agree about the Japanophiles. I just want to learn it because I love the language. I don't even read manga. Or watch anime. EDIT: YES! I just realized that this is still the old post form! I really dislike the new one, I'm not as fast.

Left the phone in my pocket before putting the clothes in the washer.
Funny thing is, a little while later the thing decided to come back to life, bubbles and all. Unfortunatley, by then I had already switched the cell phone service to another phone, but at least its kinda neat having a bubble phone. xp
