eek Never ever clicking linkies again. I was doing that pumpkin thing with the baby in my lap, and we were enjoying the little "Monster Mash" song, when I went to carve the pumpkin.

It made him cry. sad

He's detoxing with Kelly Clarkson now.

I know it says this:
Unknown Variable is a Gaian user who is selling shoutbox signature boxes with Meriko's permission. Meri/Kimi avatar edits may be used in Unknown Variable's shoutbox signature boxes without first getting permission from Meriko or Kimini.
for the shoutboxes but what if its a edit with a Meriko or Kimi but someone elses clothing on the edit? I have asked the person who did the clothes if its ok but since its with one of your wigs I'm not sure if you would still approve.

*lol* It's fine, Kari! Don't feel bad!! He got over it very quickly -- now he's napping. Besides, I should have known better when Toony said it scared her. It was just the sudden loud noise that did it. Really, don't feel bad!!!

(He cried worse when he was stuck in the backseat with two of Hubby's coworkers today, if that helps.)

My dad has some sort of external hard drive/back-up device that just plugs into the USB port... I'm not sure exactly what it is, but maybe Unknown Variable could tell you more about it since I'm not computer savvy. Maybe something like that would work better than burning everything to disc.

Oh, and Unknown Variable since we're talking about computers I have to tell you how lame mine is. My dad complains every time I have him over to fix it because the people who made it set it up so that the D (55.5GB) drive is larger than the C (13.9GB) drive, and the C drive is where they set up everything to default install.
Yes, I've been thinking of getting one of what you're talking about. It's a large external hard drive that connects via USB port and has a small button on it. When the button is pressed, an internal hard drive of your choice is automatically backed up at lightning fast speed onto the external. And your problem with the two drives doesn't sound like a problem to me, really. Just make sure you either A) Install everything you need to to the D drive, or B) Switch your primary / secondary hard drive locations and install windows on the D drive as well.
My dad just kept getting upset 'cause I'm not a computer person, and he had to keep coming to "fix" the computer when the C drive got full. Finally he told me to just load new programs onto the D drive, and that's what we've been doing. I never would have thought to check it. *laughs*

Other than that it's a nice computer. I'm not sure how to look up the specifics for you. My in-laws bought it top of the line as a graduation present to my hubby when he got his Batchlor's degree. (graduated May '03)
