Except that definitely isn't the case. Rather, he's asleep in his bed, although not sleeping very well truth be told. He isn't going to be waking up anytime soon either, considering how long it had taken him to get to sleep.

When Uriel does eventually wake up, he goes into town and gets himself some custom. That night on the ship he does so as well. By the time he's tired enough to call it quits for the night, he's quite exhausted from the late nigh and all the activity, so he just goes to bed. like. in his bunk.

It's not that he's avoiding Orient, just that he thinks he needs to stop seeking out the pirate so often.

Uriel doesn't really believe that. He just assumes that if Orient's not using him it's just because the pirate doesn't feel like sex.

Most of the rest of their stay on the island was spent with Uriel making way more money than normal, and spending a ton of it on books. He also buys some material to drape around his hammock, so it was a bit more private. He figures this might help with the men who aren't sly but get desperate. And he likes being a bit of a private individual, except for his employ.

Of course, Uriel isn't going to be on the ship forever either. And even though it's not yet imminent, they are sailing ever closer to the City where Uriel will be leaving them. The day they left port, Uriel treats himself with a day of no sex for pay (aka, no sex), and just reads in his hammock. He'd made more than enough money during their stay at that island to be able to afford this luxury, even in his rather penny-pinching mind.

After spending a lot of time with customers who don't satisfy him, without Orient approaching him, he does eventually (a week or so after they leave the pirate island), give in and go to Orient's room, to take the pirate up on the old offer of sex when Uriel wants it, if it's still valid.

He feels rather bad about it though, because he feels very weird being the one approaching someone else for sex... and he feels like he shouldn't be getting paid for it, because if anything Orient is doing him the favour... and the sex itself is rather equal. In fact, the usually stingy boy hadn't taken any gold for the last time he'd had sex... since the pirate was doing him a favour and enablign him to get back to work.

Sos, anyways, just after dark, he goes to the pirate's room.

Uriel decides just walking in feels too weird, so he raps lightly on the door instead.

Since he's up there because he's in the mood, Uriel makes it a little more obvious than he normally would that he very muchly enjoyed the view he was getting, eyes half-lidded from thinly veiled lust, "Hi... Can I come in?"

Uriel shrugs a bit, since he couldn't care less that Orient had just had a bath... except for the part where the pirate looked very good with his hair wet and sticking to him, and basically naked. He goes into the room that he used to spend so much time in, going over near the bed and looking back to the pirate. He doesn't know what to say to make it obvious that he wants Orient in bed with him now, because he's not used to being on this end of things.
