themightyjello Pretty much goes hand in hand with the whole "people are afraid to use their fists" thing. If it is assumed that the opposition will have weapons and/or magic powers, trying to get in a well-placed kick isn't really the most tactically sound thing to do. No it doesn't. Don't attempt to add to what I say. What I said is what I meant. Nothing more, nothing less. Quote: However, just like the difference between a person who knows MA and someone who's only watched pro wrestling and Van Damme movies, how entertaining the fight can be relies entirely upon how well people can turn it from being the childish shouting match and into something strategic. I'm not quite sure how this relates to anything. Because you repeated yourself, just with more words. Quote: Anything is more interesting than a staring contest and people shouting "bang bang, I got you" and "no you didn't". Quote: Ah, the old "vortex palm". This "Vortex palm" title sounds nothing like what I just described. So what exactly are you arguing against?

Mr. Crawley So what exactly are you arguing against? At this point? Semantics, apparently. Since that looks like all you're capable of disagreeing with out of my statement.

Nope. See the problem is. You read what I say..
And then you try to look for deeper meaning in it. You look for different ways to interpret it.
I have no idea why. It isn't something you should do. If I tell you to push the red button in the midst of blue buttons that means "push the red button in the midst of blue buttons" .. if there are red buttons elsewhere I wasn't talking about them.
So..
Then you start typing paragraphs to refute an idea you think I had.. but it is actually one you created.. and are arguing against.
So it's you arguing against yourself, thinking you're arguing against me.
All I'm doing is trying to stop you from causing yourself mental homicide/suicide.

Well, to be specific, I'm trying to write things that sound like they're the same thing you meant, so that if you agree with them you'd be straying ever-so-slightly from your rigid doctrines.
Then, like a Paladin who betrayed his cause, you'd lose all your powers.
:fiendish finger steepling:
Also, I was elaborating on the concept of "don't bring a knife to a gunfight" that was addressed earlier amidst the "weapons represent advancement" and "people are afraid" statements.
Was there anything else you went out of your way to make fun of...? Oh, right:
You, yourself, obsessed over magic powers and things before. You enjoyed manga which included bizarre powers and things that in no way resembled grappling and/or facepunching. Even excluding everyone else, your own actions have confirmed that powerslinging fights can be interesting.
Bang bang.

I must say I find it amusing in that the main reason Fen and I have utilised power armour is because of all the people running around saying how strong they are while the Gams are for all intent regular humans out of armour.

Mr. Crawley I'm sure you've realized at this point that you failed. More or less what I was shooting for with that statement. Changing your mind is just choosing to go another way with things. I used to like South Park, now I don't. But that's really more because the show got stupid. I'm sure the old episodes are still as funny as ever, even if watching them over and over would get old. Doesn't mean I was wrong, just means that tastes and standards change. A black man in the south I used to like chitlins when I was younger, now I don't. WTF IS UP WIT DAT!? DAT s**t AIN'T NATURAL! What the ******** is up with chitlins. That stuff's like haggis.

themightyjello Changing your mind is just choosing to go another way with things. Right.. please.. this is all a bunch of dumb words to get me to say something admitting wrong doing. But you've not reminded me of something I had forgotten. So you've failed again at making me turn on myself.

At one point in time you liked it.
But you changed your mind.
But, as you so often remind us, you are 100% right at all times.
Therefore you were right back then, too.

Then you're a one-man miracle of statistics, as well as Pupu god and whatever else you claim to be.
Off of memory, I can recall: 1. The war fans and lightning bolts Reiko. 2. The Naruto ninja magic Reiko. 3. The clone army Reiko. 4. The "1000 techniques" Reiko. 5. The Pupu powers Reiko. 6. The "I'm my own best friend" Reiko-with-a-Stand. 7. The Juggernaut, b***h.
That 0.1% comes up a lot.
All I'm saying is that those things are interesting. Possibly more interesting than two guys trying to armbar each other on the ground in one corner of an octagon.

Jello That 0.1% comes up a lot. Name 5 times where I was undeniably (even to myself) wrong and I will acknowledge this statement as true and adjust the percentage accordingly. And I agree that my history is impressive. Especially because it's me. And I'm the awesomest. But I'd be quicker to read one of my more recent fights than any of my past fights. Because that's how much more interesting they are. I read them.. and I go.. "Wow I have come along way. I am near untouchable."

I am going to bed.
You may submit your findings to me in the form of a PM since I'm pretty sure it'll take you a while.
Because you won't be able to complete the task.
