Yep, the rank of a devil is higher than the demon.
Here is my hells ranking system.
The Overlord of Hell
(Highest known rank, but there have been higher ranks)
The Overlings
(The ones who follow The Overlord, They receive special powers)
Spindrel Dragons
(Powerful dragons that roam around the empires and lands of Hell)
The Guardians
(Powerful beings that protect the gates of hell and passage to anything worth protecting, one being The Overlord)

Humunculi
(Beings that possess limitless life, power, and boundaries, they can be killed, and they have little power over Hell, but they are a threat.)
Spectrals
(Nasty beings capable of possession, psychic powers, control of blood, and creation of weapons)
Blood Devils
(The highest known rank for devils, among these hidden ranks are many)
Devils
(The most powerful out of the cruel souls that roam around the lands and outlands of hell. They hold commanding power over demons and are able to make their own personal armies)
Cursed Demons
(Demons that have been granted high power through a curse)
Free Demons
(Demons that can roam free between hell and the real world. Devils use these demons to open up the gates of hell)
Demons
(The regular souls of Hell, They lie uneven in how their power is granted to them)
Half Demons
(Demons that have been born out of half blood. These demons can grow up to have limitless power depending on how they draw their path, otherwise they are the weakest)
Thrown Away Souls
(The Weakest and saddest of beings that roam Hell, they hold little to no power and represent fog in Hell and the real world)
Well, theres my ranking system. I WILL BE UPDATING IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Hidden ranks thing is not thought up yet, But I am in the Hidden ranks.
