Uriel heads to the red light district too... not to hire a whore, or to procure work, but simply because he doesn't really know where else to go. When he's there though, he sees Orient go into a brothel, and sighs. He doesn't think Orient would be interested in him anymore, even if uriel himself felt interested in sex... but he doesn't like knowing that some other guy is going to be the recipient of Orient's kisses and care that night.

But Orient doesn't kiss, or act overly gentle. He can't bring himself to do it. He can't even bring himself to do anything, and the whore he'd chosen just turns him away. He heads back to his ship, and lies on the deck, staring at the stars and wondering how to broach the silence between he and Uriel.

The boy checks out the whoring scene, and decides that there's definitely no way he's staying there. He heads back to the ship, only to consider walking right back off when he sees that Orient is right there on deck.

Orient glances over to see who it is and sucks in some air when he sees that it's Uriel. It's now or never, so he decides to act. "Nice evenin' tonight." he says, leaning back. This way the boy can take it or leave it.

"...I guess." He feels awkward, but he really likes Orient, and he doesn't want to just... leave, if the pirate's willing to talk to him.

Uriel goes over and sits down near Orient, looking up at the sky.

Orient quirks a grin, a sad one, over at the boy. "Ye've bin avoidin' me." he says, trying to keep the sadness out of his voice but failing.

Orient rolls over, onto his side so that he can face Uriel. "Why the hell wouldn't i?" he says, with a frown. "Ye save m'life, an' m'ship."

Uriel looks away evasively, "but... I'm..." he sighs a little, "People don't like having people like me around."

"...Don't tell the other men about me... they might not all see it like you do." Uriel replies, still feeling nervous about the whole situation. He's definitely going to Orient's room that night, now that he has permission (ok, so it was practically a request).
