Receiving Ike's message, Maddy set down all the chemicals in her hands and next thing she knew, she was in the jet. "Awesome! I'm loving the whole teleporting thing. With a yawn, Maddy walked over to the healing machine and picked up her reward. "I'll just take a nap and head out to catch a Pokemon soon enough." Situating herself on the ceiling, she curled up into a ball and fell asleep, snoring lightly.

As night falls, I come up out of Union Cave near Azalea Town. Over Ilex Forest, I can see the plume of smoke from KW's bonfire.
[To myself] "What the? Is the forest on fire?!"
I send out my Golduck, Tyrannus, and run through town, hoping to stop the "forest fire" before it reaches the homes.

Ginji sits by the fire roasting a marshmallow and making S'mores. As he pops one in his mouth he feels infinitely better. "Do you think we'll have a home to go back to? They probably placed bugs all around everything, as well as video feeds. And don't forget the tech and computer files they could have stolen..." Ginji mumbled as he heats up another S'more.

As I race into the clearing, I realize it's only an over-sized campfire.
On closer approach, I notice it's Ginji, KW, and Maddy.
"Hi you guys! What're you doing all the way out here? I saw your smoke and thought the forest was gonna burn down! razz

"Maybe we should put it out then..." Ginji noted. "Wait? No random effects while barging in on everyone to add to the storyline?" Dramatic pause. "Are you really Thard?" he smiled. "I'm kidding, welcome to the Ilex Forest!" Ginji greeted as he offered Thard a S'more.

Golduck runs up and takes the s'more. I walk over and sit by the fire.
"Huh. Well, thanks anyway. So, uh, why are you guys out here? Last I knew everyone was staying inside until the heat blew over."

"Wait, what about Xatu?! I left her in HQ last night, is she okay?"

"Really? When I woke up she was gone. Well, actually, after the poem she 'sang' she was gone." Ginji sighed. "I'm sure she'll be fine, she can predict the future ya know." He then answers Thard's other question.
"Well, let's just say they came for us with more force then we could handle and they probably stole some things that we didn't want to be stolen and they'll use it against us in any way they can." He sighed as he ate yet another S'more. "And we fled here to wait things out and in reality, hide."

Golduck is also enjoying s'mores.
"Gone, you say? That means she probably teleported back home. Wait, poem? SANG? Xatu can't sing! And what's all this other stuff? 'They' came? Who's 'they,' the army?!"
I lean back and sigh.
"Ay-yi-yi, less than 24 hours away and all kinds of crap happens."

"Well, maybe it was more like speaking, and it wasn't quite a poem. I'd say a 'Prophesy' to describe it more. I wrote it down, but I left it at HQ." Ginji explained.
"Yeah, the army, with guns, and floating tanks and boats and the Hoenn National Guard. And I think I saw some scientists." Ginji sighed, remembering was hard enough, but it would be deadlier to forget.

Ginji silently cries out to the gods to try and convince them that he and Golduck need more marshmallows to no avail. "Oh yeah, we saw Shuppet there too, its eyes did the weird glowy thing as well, then we heard the message."
"Well, at least we'll know what they have, and that way we'll be prepared."

"I see.... My guess is that Xatu took control over Shuppet's mind and used his telepathic power to give voice to whatever vision she saw. It's weird though, usually her Future Sight is nothing like that. Even if they're fine now, I'm still worried."
I tap Golduck on the shoulder.
"C'mon, Tyrannus. We're not equipped for a campout, let's head back to Azalea."
Golduck reluctantly sets down the empty marshmallow bag.
"Well Ginji, I'd better find a place for the night. I think you should tone down the fire a little too. Nothing screams 'Amateur camper' like a bad campfire. No need to bring forest rangers here to find you when you're supposed to be hiding from the national guard."
