"Oh, oh, is he Bakura?" Amenitre pointed at Bakura, and Atem grabbed her wrist. "Yes, he is, but it's not nice to point." Atem scolded, as his priests rolled their eyes or shook their heads, expressing all of their dislike for the girl being there. "He's a bad man, don't go near him." He turned his attention back to Rei as Amenitre continued to look at Bakura. "Honestly, nobody really knows who you are. We may find things out, but you aren't going to be in much trouble."

Rei sighed "Bakura really isent that bad of a man." rei said. It got annoying when everybody said that. "Can you please unchain me..Im not going to do anything." rei said. ((I found there ring ^^ I'm going to say while they were still in the future they bought this. both bakura and rei had them on there left ring fingerok? It just adds sweetness))

Atem considered doing this when Amenitre suddenly shrieked, clinging even closer to her father. "He moved, he moved!" She exclaimed, her violet-eyes widening. Bakura, had, indeed moved. Waking up, he pushed himself into a sitting position and shook his head to clear it.
He stared blankly at the chains on his wrists, then looked up. "What the hell...?" His eyes fell on Amenitre, and he brought one hand up to his forehead. "s**t." He looked to his side, noticing Rei. He kept his expression blank.

"No kidding..." rei said running her fingers threw her hair. She waited to see if bakura noticed the children were missing.

Bakura moved into a more comfortable position, deciding that the floor was a nice enough spot for him. He was torn-- he had noticed that Rei wasn't holding either of the children, but didn't want to bring it up. He couldn't appear to care too much about something, or else these bastards would use it to their advantage and probably do something like they had before, threatening Rei. He struggled a moment to remember the words as he looked at Rei, speaking in broken Japanese. "Where are the son and daughter? They safe?"

"They took them..apparently being cared for by a nurse." Rei replyed in japanese. You could see the worry in her eyes "I dont trust them"

"You shouldn't." Bakura mumbled, rubbing his forehead. He pretended to ignore the pharaoh as he stepped forward, clearing his throat. Only when Atem was three or so feet away did Bakura look up, but his gaze was on the girl. He smiled, unable to help himself. "Hello Mkhait... Wait, you're Amenitre now, aren't you?" Amenitre blushed and hid her face in her father's kilt. Atem looked angry, suddenly protective. "I didn't give you permission to speak, much less to my daughter. Now... be quiet, keep your eyes lowered, speak only when allowed to and in a language we can all understand, and stop cursing so much. We're trying to decide whether or not we'll kill you."

Rei followed along beside bakura quiet. She smiled when she noticed bakura smile. She then looked to the pharoh "I told you before we just want to live a normal life....You wouldent want Amenitre to grow up without her father would you...I don't want that for my children...."

Seto stepped forward, looking a bit irritated. He was tired of this woman trying to play on Atem's emotional side. "We cannot just allow him to get away with what he's done. Just because he's decided to change means nothing. How do we know you're not lying?" "We don't." Atem said, but looked like he was getting an idea. He kept his gaze focused on Bakura. "Do you agree with what your... wife... is saying? Are you truly trying to live a normal life?" Bakura's cheeks flushed and he looked down to the ground, closing his eyes. He looked ashamed, since he was. He had been a feared thief and still was, but if he admitted this... "Yes." He didn't want to elaborate. "So prove it." Atem said, holding his daughter's hand. "I invite you to be a guest in my palace-- instead of a prisoner. I need to see that you mean it. Once I believe you, then you and your family will be free to leave without punishment. Will you agree to this?"

Rei was quiet as she looked to bakura. She knew he hated to admit it but they had too if they had any hope of getting out of here. She waited to see what he would say.

"...fine." Bakura said, after a long internal debate. This had not been what he wanted at all. He had spoken two words to the pharaoh, and already felt sick to his stomach. The Atem he had been with in the modern times, that was different. He had learned to tolerate him. But all of his previous hatred came back up when facing this one. "Good. Try not to disappoint me. I think you would make a good father." Atem turned to walk away, feeling satisfied. Seto looked furious, and Atem chose to ignore the high priest's anger. "Get these two to a room. Seto, I expect their children to be returned as well. Afterwards, I think I'll need to speak to you privately." Seto bowed, mumbling something to the pharaoh as he passed. He snapped at the guards to unlock the two, and then strode out of the room to save a little of his pride. Amenitre let go of her father and stayed behind to watch the new guests.

Once they were unlocked rei rubbed her wrist "Wow is is more awful than he was before...." Rei refraid from saying anything too bad because they wasa child in the room.
Nanu who had a large headache by now was holding the children who still hadent stoped screaming. They could be heard a few halls down.

"We have to make sure the same things don't happen..." Bakura said softly, hugging Rei. "You know, like make sure the priest doesn't kill Mkhait and blame it on us or anything. I didn't like the outcome of it last time." Isis came forward, seeing as Seto left the room. "I can take you to an open room... Just follow me." Seto followed the sounds to the room where Nanu was in. Entering, he closed the door behind him and drew out a knife. "I want you to kill those two." He said plainly to her.

Rei nodded and gently hugged him back.
Nanu's eyes widened as she head this. She stood up the children in her arm's "Y-Your kidding right...There just children...."she said taking a step back.
